That's a known bug I didn't get to fix unfortunately :( Once the enemy is swarming you, if they never break away from you that enemy doesn't do damage again.

Good game. I think adding some simple sounds and making the weapons actually being guarded like cards would make it choices more interesting - like should i take an axe with easy defence or should i go for a risky golden sword...
But anyway I actually was interested in Rust for games, so i will be checking your implementation and Amethyst :)
Kudos for braving the Compo with an Amethyst game. Link to theme is obvious, and more or less the same as we chose for our own game. Some simple sounds would have helped improving the mood, but I understand that there's never enough time =)
