That was a really good game! A little short perhaps and I was dreading running out of lives but other than that a brilliant game!
The music was really annoying, but the graphics had a really nice feel to them. Great job!
Pretty cool art style! The audio can start to get annoying but it fit the theme well and I liked the piece finding aspect of the game.
The music was a bit annoying, but it's a neat little game! I really liked your graphics and how you animated them!
small fun game, nice art and amthmospheric music. luckily it is not so hard :)
Indeed, music is annoying, but fitting. Nice artwork. Overall I like this little quest =)
Oh wait. You can attack?! Beat game without it :ship:
Yeah! Cheesing those sharks is definitely an option :D
Loved the graphics. Agree to other about the audio. Gameplay is fun
Art style is awesome. Music was a bit loud and annoying. I really liked that movement changes when you leave the land! I had fun playing the game! Thank you for making it!
Such a novel artstyle! And the gameplay doesn't lag behind either! Excellent game and I'm glad you participated in this game jam!
What a lovely little game. Very nicely done!
Fun little game. The music added a nice touch, even if it was a little repetitive Suggestions: Remove the ability to fight. I went through the game without realizing I could fight. And had a lot of fun dodging the sharks
Great artwork and a nice little story! I see from the comments you could fight? Never needed that... Music a lit bit grating, but otherwise a really good entry.
It's awesome game. Art and idea are so nice!
Really nice mood and graphics. I would have loved to have more. thank your for your game
It's a fun game with a pleasant artstyle. Like everyone else, attacking wasn't needed. The only improvement I could think of is some kind of in-game help menu, to help people figure out the controls without looking back at the LD page.

Thank you, everybody, for your awesome feedback! This is our first project and it is so great to hear that people are enjoying it. And your appreciation for the graphics is truly elating to me! So, thank you again.
And next time we will do our best to find less annoying music ;)!
I also didn't realise you could attack. Nice art and fun story. A good entry.
Cute art style :)
the art is definitely a big appeal. great job!
Cute and striking art style.
Very fun little game, I enjoyed playing!
Nice game, I LOVE the art style!
Overall a cute experience. The art style really worked here. The floating boards were a nice detail too. As others said before, the music loop was way too short and it got repetitive very fast... Other than that, the game doesn't go full screen properly in my 4k monitor, so I couldn't see 1/3rd of the screen on the left side.
Awsome Game!!!
A funny and very friendly little game. I love both the visual style and the music. Overall is this a good jam game. Well done.
What a charming game! :)
I love your art style! It's great! And humour too.
@tyfus Sorry the game does not go full screen correctly for you. After some consultation, we realized that we have zero idea why that happens ;). Hopefully, it did not spoil your experience overly much. But thanks for letting us know - maybe one of those days we can figure out where the problem lies.

Thanks everyone! Reading all those great comments really made my day!
And from a purely selfish perspective, double thanks to everyone who loves the art .
This was delightful.
Cool little demo! I realised only after writing this comment I could beat the game using fighting mechanic, but never used that / required it  Overal aesthetics were cute and it reminded me of an old game I used to play (captain redbeard or something, can't recall)!
I don't know why but I absolutely loved that music :)
Graphics were great and I loved the idea behind the game. It needed a bit more feel to the gameplay - I didn't even realize I was hurt (I guess by the shark) until I looked up and saw I only had two health when I was on the treasure island.
It was short, but I had fun playing it... and the song really did it for me.
@realitycheck I will tell you a secret: I love that music track too. That's why I chose it  However, we do seem to be the odd ones out.
And you are right, the game would benefit from some more feedback, probably some sfx when a shark (or a rock, as rocks 'bite' too) bites you would do the trick!
Nice graphics! Sharks were passive (almost like in real life, which greatly pleased)
Nice little action adventure game!!! The graphics were awesome but the music, as many have pointed, was a little to repetitive. I liked that the game didn't overstay its welcome and I could reach and enjoy the end! A nice surprise was that you get damaged by running over the reefs (At first I though were just decorations). The sharks were a little to easy to offer any challenge for my faithful oar  (maybe have them move a little faster and maybe have more of them? In any case that was a very good entry!
Nice little game, I had two hearts left in the end~ The song I feel could have lasted a bit longer with more variety, but at least there was one.
Hey, since you made the game with godot, i'd suggest making a web build on itch.io, so people can have an easier time playing your game.
Cute art style, fun gameplay. You start out on a monkey island, which is pretty cool :) haha. Good job overall you guys :).

Edit: Sorry I think I double posted by mistake.
I liked the cute art style and the way the story was presented with no text. I'm not sure why the consensus seems to be to hate the music; sure, it's not great, but it suits the game and doesn't hurt the presentation in my opinion.
I felt the gameplay was a little on the boring side, though. There were some empty screens, the reefs posed no threat, the sharks were effortlessly dispatched with the oar, and past tricking the monkey with the coconut every task was just bringing something to somebody. It could have been a little more engaging with tougher challenges or puzzles.
I liked the artstyle a lot! The game is quite simple, but is fun to play and fits the theme. Good job!
I like how the art just pops out. Probably because of the colors you chose or just the parts having shadows? Not sure why, but it looks pretty cool.
Gameplay was ok. Kinda simple for a pro gamer like me, but the things you had to do fit the setting. It just felt "right". I guess I want to say that here was a certain flow to it and everything you did "made sense".
Only thing I disliked is that I could not slap the monkey at the beginning. I don't know why, but I had that strange urge erupt inside of me that I was not able to extinguish. But that's obviously not the fault of your game, just sharing my experience.
@whiteseraph Thanks for the suggestion! We will definitely remember that for the next jam, maybe even will do it for this one (if its not too late).
@k0haku We planned to have the monkey slappable, but then PETA knocked on our door and we got scared
@empty-set, @rodrigo-denubila, @k0haku Thanks for all the great feedback! The gameplay is indeed simple. That was actually our biggest issue during development of this game, and we were discussing different ways of introducing additional challenges for the player that would still go well with the general concept. But, as the story usually goes, we ran out of time.
@empty-set Gameplay is indeed on the simpler side. Sadly, it's the action elements mostly that underwent cuts. Thanks for your feedback. For the next jam we'll try to improve on this particular aspect.
@whiteseraph Thank you for your suggestion!
We made a web build. It is now hosted on itch along with other builds, folks!
A simple, but pretty, adventure game. I liked it!
My only gripes are the absolute lack of any kind of sound effects and some rather janky animations. I really liked the overall graphical style, though.
