I couldn't get to a point where any enemies would spawn): I think a tower defense game is totally thematic though!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → LIFE:anti-viral

Pretty cool idea, but i think it lacks complexity. Kudos for making level designer available for players :)
Ah yeah, spawn them yourselves to play against the levels. You tap the circles and drag @simin. That's what comes of not having time for a tutorial. The idea is that one player sets them up and another tries to defeat them.
I feel like I'm a bit too dumb to understand whats going on in this game, but the sound effects are extremely satisfying and I really like watching the behaviours of the different viruses, especially the black ones that chase the nuclei around. Good job!
Nice use of particle physics! Emergent gameplay based on simple rules is always cool to see. The interface was very confusing at first; it looked like I was on some strange site with links to other pages and a non-functioning web game at the top. Once I figured it out it was great though.
Looks interesting, but I can't seem to get the game to run. It's stuck on the main menu with the music playing.
RIP John Conway, he was a mathematics legend. :(
@lectvs - think this is @no-grape-games point lol -> press any of the games in the list! I'll add a button
The tutorial tooltip disappears really fast  Really liked the dynamic of the game. Viruses are OP!.
Here is my playtest:

Really smart looking game you've made! It took me a little while to work out how to play as I think the tutorial could stay up a little longer. (For us slow readers :')
I am incredibly heart-broken to discover John Conway has passed away. The Game Of Life was one of the first things I made in Unity. RIP.
As some other people have mentioned, more help in-game understanding what was going on would be helpful, but otherwise very cool concept and quite fun. Keep up the great work.
Quite polished looking game, I think it would be fun to play on mobile too (given the swipe controls). It's cool that you included an editor too, truth is I didn't try it as I sucked in the game :)
Nice Game! Must agree with @kostasvs mobile version will be cool!
Good job! I love how you included a level designer and it feels really good to play!
I Love your game ! Easy to play, I join the comments above wiwh says that a mobile version would be really cool :)
Took a while to figure out how to play, being able to swap the between phage, virus and the other thing was helpful. A lot of the game consisted on getting them onto the board but a few times I hadn't realised I had run out of credits so was watching until the time ran out and I could then start up the next game.
The overall visual style was pretty consistent with itself, the audio may have been a little too harsh for the game but I can hear how you tried to match it to the gameplay.
Thats really cool.
Very interesting game. Initially I was really confused but by experimenting I figured it out. Virus to get more cells together and then spam toxins :D
That was really quite fun. In the end I also figured out you can swap between virus and phage and I can win most of the time now. Very nicely done.
This was utterly beautiful. Everything runs so smooth, I didn't encounter a single bug: It was flawless.
I think it would have been cool if there was some sort of campaign, just so we can gauge our skill level but other than that, this is a shockingly brilliant game.
A quick note: I couldn't get this to run in chrome, I had to run it in microsoft edge.
Oh that's odd! It runs in Chrome on a Mac lol! Browsers....
And yeah the plan was for a Clash of Clans style online leaderboard. I got it 1/2 working. So you attack someones defences and they do yours etc. Maybe later!
Good game! Game process looks really cool!
Some very literal cellular automata. Those viruses are brutal! I'm not sure what I did, but it feels like I hurt somebody/something. So that was an experience. And new experiences are what jam games are all about!
I didn't quite understand how to do it, but the soundtrack is engaging and seeing everything burst is satisfactory :D Cool game, I agree with those who say it would be nice on mobile!
It's so satisfying making the particles streak across the screen! Music and artwork are excellent. Takes a bit to figure out how to play, but overall its a solid game with responsive mechanics and is very fun!
Took a while until I managed to understand how to play but I had a great time and was really impressed by that effects you are using! Really well done!
Yeah definitely needs the tutorial I ran out of time with, and the set of test levels... oh well!
nice idea, a bit confusing though. Here UI and UX is crucial. I guess the scope was a bit bigger than a jam game. But nice try. thanks for the entry :)
Nice game with an unusual idea! I liked the art style!
I too feel like I'm in the team too-stupid-for-this-game, but it does look and sound awesome! I didn't understand it, but I still had a great time :D
Very interesting concept. Had a bit of problem with aiming, it felt a bit out of control. But everything ran smooth and it was nice to look at. *Thumbs up*
I feel like I should have understood science a little more to fully appreciate this! But there were some cool visual and the way the different units interacted with one another was rewarding to watch. Once I understood the controls to fling out the units, it felt nicer to play too.
