Cool game idea that covers the brief pretty well! The colours are really nice but some of the game is a little glitchy, there isn't great control over the character and I got stuck on the stairs a few times lol!

Hey, I really like the art style, even if I found the game quite hard. (I think that's just me having no rythm :') It's a fun game and worth playing several times, each time getting more addictive as you do. I love the sound effects and think they really add to the game also. My only tiny critique is that the 'try again' box is a little too small to read, but that doesn't effect game play. Just some constuctive feedback for you. Overall a fab little game <3
This is a fantastic game, I think it is my favourite of LD!! I've been having fun going well over 500 with these cute lil black alien blobs. I can't help but think they look a bit like black minions.
The village design, pixel art, characters and colour palette are all so lovely! I love it
This is a great game! I'm not entirely sure ow it fits with the brief but maybe that's just me! I loved burning all the buildings down, I lost because I burnt too many down. :')

It's a shame the player doesn't move throughout the house, that would have been a really nice touch and made the gameplay a little bit more fun. It's a nice game, there's plenty of options to keep you entertained.
Really nice pretty little game! It does have its fair share of bugs, but all is forgiven when you get to charge about in search of crystals !!!
I wasn't sure how to play in the beginning, a short tutortial section would help, maybe a text box or two. But it didn't take me long to figure it out! Once I did I reall enjoyed the game and battling to keep the slime alive. I laughed out loud at the first death image. 5*s for humour!

Okay this is adorable!!! I love the concept, especially that he loves socks so much. So cute! x The animations and character art are adorable, I love the eating animatio especially. The day cycle is done really nicely, I think it could be improved apon with a small in game clock that showed time passing so in the beginning you had an idea of how long the game would last. As when I first started playing I thought it was a night only game. That is until of course I played for a while.
I particulalrly love how there's different socks with different meanings! I think this is a lovely customisable touch to the game that gives it replayability.
One thing I would improve- When Sock's looks through the dumpster it would be so cool to play a minigame where the outcome had something to do with how well you played. Just a thought.
Overall an enjoyable little game, I will be keeping the tab open on my browser to continue to care for Socks <3 x
A nice simple easy to play game, would have been nice to have had an end screen for dying. As it feels a little abrupt going straight back to the 'home' screen. Nice sound effects, the pixel art was nicely animated. The hit box on the enemies was a little bit random at times, maybe that was because I was spamming shoot?
I love the concept of this game 5*s :D There are some small glitches here and there but overall this is a strong game with a lot of potential :) x

Oh wow the controls are sensitive! I keep crashing lol I would sugguest tonight them down a little bit as the game is pretty hard to play at the moment. Fun game though and it made me have quite a few goes at it to try and beat the game!! Cool music too.
Nice game, the music is chill and relaxing. The game is a little too hard as I'm sure people have said before me, but a good effort all in all.
Good little rythm game and it looks so nice! I struggled to hit the space bar to the beat, so the snails beat me good. :')

I really enjoyed this game, it took me a few attempts to understand what all the bars meant and how to keep my poor plant alive lol. So maybe a short tutorial at the biginning that points to the bars and explains them would be good, alongside an introduction to the snow cloud on level 2 that gets increasingly aggresssive as the game pans out. My snow cloud got stuck on the right side of the screen after level 3, so it was smooth sailing for me! haha Anyway, great game, very enjoyable!
Really smart looking game you've made! It took me a little while to work out how to play as I think the tutorial could stay up a little longer. (For us slow readers :')
Hahaha cute game! I love the kitty noises and music. I think perhaps you could have the camera zoomed out a little, so when the kitty is scared by the vacuum you can see where he runs off to as that is a little manic at the moment! I agree a brief tutorial would also be beneficial to gameplay.
Hey! Great idea and LOVE the artwork. Some really nice animations and clean drawings that really make you want to keep playing the game. I wasn't very good at feeding the sourdough so I'm going to play it again and again till I beat my last score haha!

I really love the sketchy hand drawn look to the character and animation. Sadly it didn't run very well on my computer, but I got to see it running better on my bfs laptop. My main critique would be it was very simple and didn't really for me, hit the brief 'keep it alive'.
Love the graphics, sounds and gameplay. It's super duper cute <3 If I were you the only change I would make to the gae is reducing the life down of the enemies and upping their speed, so they are still challenging but you don't have to clock like mad. But all in all I really enjoyed the game, well done for getting such a good game done so quickly! x
Hahah I love this game!! The concept is brilliant, I loved the little touches like the rooms changing music as you entered them. I really enjoyed chasing after people and barking at them, probably more than i should have.

I think this is a really effective simple game! The artwork is nice, the sound effects are great. There is things you could improve like adding in environemtnal factors, scorpions, lizards, maybe different weapons?
The roads could have done with lines on them and the street lamps weren't solid objects so you could pass right through. Besides that the lighting was really cool, loved the cars headlights. Fun little game. :)

This is a good solid game that runs smoothly and looks reasonably good! Just like the comment above me I did not realise you had to click the right hand corner to collect the money earnt! So I struggled to begin. I think my main criticisms would be I'm not sure the music fits for me? And I found the game to be not much of a challenge, it was pretty easy to get throught the rounds. I think maybe if the weapons/guns weakened or broke after a certain amount of use then it would have been a little bit more challenging. All in all a really nice game made!

Really great job. I'm really lazy when it comes to reading how games play so I found the way this game teaches you to play and text is really straight forward and easy to digest. The slow motion is fantastic and add suspense and a bit pf drama to the play! The style made me thik this was going to just be a silly game but I actually really enjoyed myself playing 5*s :D <3
I like the symplicity of your game, i think the only thing I would improve is some more animations to the character, like a jump/fall animation. Besides that, a really smart little game :)

I enjoyed changing the temperature of the room per egg and the added foods available. Like mentioned before hotkeys would be a great addition to the game (:

Fantastic artwork!! I really like the game!!! For improvement I think there could be more description or a miny map to hep you know where the problems were happening, otherwise you find yourself randomly wandering around for a long time which takes a little bit from the enjoyment when you first start playing and are getting your barings. I'd love to see an update on this game, it has a lot of potential and is beautifully done! You should be very proud! xx

Great little game! I found it to be quite addicitve and played for a while. Love the sound effects and the game reminded me of the little prince, only he tries to get rid of the baobab trees rather than plant them.
Really cool atmosphere built up with the great drawings and building music! The wiriting is great and adds a lot to the story but in the first level there is a bit much to read, I found myself skipping towards the end. For 72hours this is a really sucessful game and you should all be very proud! x

This game isn't really my sort of game, but I was pleasently surprised to find myself enjoying it. I loved the artwork and story, I only wish there was a little bit more in terms of variety of artwork.

Very nice little game!! I would call it Rat Run or Rodent Dash! I love the little charecter, he's so cute!! Really well made with great sound effects.
It's a bit too slow to begin with and could do with a tutorial on how to play, but besides that it's a nice game and the art is good. My favourite part about the game was the chill music, added to the mood and atmosphere.

Really nice little platformer!!! It runs so nicely and smoothly and the animation on the cute little characters is great! I like how you can't jump with the egg, it's a nice touch to the game plus I enjoy throwing eggs around!
Okay this is incredibly hard to play on a laptop with a touch pad :') lol But I like the graphics and idea/concept behind the game. I think you could add birds singing in th background for a nice touch.x
This is a really pretty game, the visuals and graphics are lovely. I adore the concept behind the game and think it's a great idea for the brief. I agree with the lifespan of the pollen as mentioned above. and it would be nice if the well was a solid object so you couldn't fly through the roof or maybe the bee couldn't dunk under water for too long. I'd just like to also say the music was so lovely and peaceful. All in all it was a really pleasant game to play. :) x
This game made me laugh, sadly I got flung off the screen multiple times by my sheep- which was funny until sadly I could not make my way back and all of my sheep became lamb chops. Great game, nice artwork, funny soun effects and good replayability. One thing you could add is different enemies like birds of prey, foxes, kids? These enemies could move at different speeds and give the game a little bit more challenge.
Hey this is a great little game, would particularly make a good mobile game. Would be grea to have a game over screen with how many carrots you have eaten too!

Really beauitufl game!! I ejoyed playing it as it was so aesthetically pleasing!! I wondered a little about the back story, maybe a short tutorial animation would have been nice to explain 'Shinys' past and situation and maybe a short bit of gameplay trying to find shiny in the forest before. All in all a really pretty game that has a lot of potential to go far!

As for how to improve the game, it would be cool if there was some sort of tutorial built into the beginning of the game so that you dont have to read to much at the beginning or learn through trial and error (like I did) lol x But great game, neat and smart! xx

I agree with the people before me that the asteroids could do with appearing and disappearing more gradually. Some really smart artwork on the space craft! It ran resonably well, I was rather terrible at it :D A fun game x
I got a little confused at first on how to play, maybe I shouldn't have hit skip. But I really enjoyed the concept of this game. I think it's very original and the music works too. To improve the game the graphics could be worked on a bit as they are quite basic more a medical piece. But overall very nice game!

I just wish the walk speed was quicker, it's the only thing that ut me off the game as I started to get bored of slowly walking back and forward. Increasing this slightly would make the game much more enjoyable. :D x

Great game!! The artwork's beautiful and is carefully carried across from the characters to the background. It didn't take long or many attempts to understand how to play. Although I think in the fantastic dialogue, in the beginning, there should be mention of the black mage and his plot to steal the flame or something. Just so you know when he appears at first he is trouble and also he doesn't seem to kill you, so I presume he's just after the flame?
The colours could be a little more distinguishable on the flames, instead of red, pink and purple which are colour harmonies you could have blue, orange, green, white or even some mix of primary and secondary colours. eg. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue. This wasn't a huge issue once I worked out each colour, just a minor one in the beginning, but could be a greater issue for those with slight colour blindness.
The controls in general were a little too slippery, I think they need to be a little bit more precise and tighter as precision is so important in this game.
But over all, a really good game with 5* artwork, really enjoyable, I played several times and will be heading back for more. Would love an update in the future on this project. :) xx
Ha fun little game! A lot of poor little turtles have been lost due to me not being faster than the guls though! I'm not sure if that's just me being slow or maybe the enemies could be introduced more gradually one by one, so you can get used to them first.
Cool game, I like that it's simple and clean, runs really nicely. I'm glad the pizza in the stomach wasn't all chewed up and nasty hahaha!
This is a really nice example of something simple done right. A lovely polished entry that has you thinking and laughing. What more could you want? The only thing that would make it better is even more weird things to burn!! I agree with @tatetate about the flashlight recharging being annoying and perhaps there being a better way to do it. :)

Haha this game made me laugh! I killed my first egg, but soon learnt how to get it to hatch. I think to improve the game it would be great if the little creature had an idle animation and just bobbed around the screen. Maybe the game could be a little more forgiving too? But I guess that's down to how difficult you want the game to be :) Nice concept and take on the theme, I must admit I also thought of tamagotchis when I heard the theme at first so I'm glad to see some version to play about with!!mx
My goodness those lumberjacks come out in full force! Maybe the game could build up a little slower in the beginning to get a grips of controls and feel of the game. Interesting game though definitely needs some audio to take it to the next level :D

I never thought I'd enjoy squishing bugs, but I did! Really fun little game, good example of how a simple game can be very engaging and fun to play again and again. I'm not 100% sure I feel this hits the brief, it kinda feels like the opposite, but maybe that's just me? Either wa a great little game, that I'm sure I will come back to just to play again. :) x

Really cool use of the theme! I really struggled to save more han just one banana :') I think the controls are a little sharp and could do with being slightly less sensitive! All in all I think it's a fun litle game, with good graphics!

Good puzzle solving game! Love the artwork on the dog. The game was a bit too hard for my simple brain, but I enjoyed it none the less!!! I think to improve the game a countdown timer would be great to add on the pressure or even work as a score board.

The caverns at the end are definitely a little too tight but we wanted to make them as small as we could to carry across the feel of a mine and the reality of the tight spaces a pit pony would squeeze through! So I think we can work on this for a future update after the jam :) The audio is very buggy and was added last minute, thank you we will look into this to resolve. <3 xxx

I was so bad at this game, but it was good fun. Great music and visuals :D Unfortunately I think the aim was a bit too sensitive for me and I think a mini map in the corner would really help!

This was really fun to play! I loved the simplicity it meant you could dive right in and play from the get go without any need to read over instructions etc. The graphics could be worked on in the future to make the game even better.
I really like the idea of this game but think that there needs to be some sort of tutorial or explanation on how to play as I had to read the comments here to learn to click and drag. Simple yet effective and fun to play, well done on making a game that makes me want to play it again and again!
My only problem is I became emotionally attached to the ball and was so sad when it brutally died. :'( Fab little game, great sound effects and some solid artwork!
This was great! I played all the way till I saved the eggs <3 A really good little game, I guess the only thing that coukd add to it would be some sound effects maybe?
