This game is mooody. Really like this weird lofi fm sounds, but footstep sounds is too loud

szkocka 2020-04-21 20:55

Thanks for playing ^^ @pixel-error

vizitas 2020-04-21 21:00

I liked it, pretty funny. One suggestion would be to make the doorways more visible, it took me a moment to realize how to get inside the house.

szkocka 2020-04-21 21:31

@vizitas funny you mention that, I noticed at the end of the development, because The level was designed with thought of ability to change camera. Thanks for playing :)

hollebecq-baptiste 2020-04-21 22:02

very cool game ! musics really help getting into it

pele90 2020-04-21 22:06

Very nice idea for a game to start with. Loving the vibe and graphics. You can see a lot of effort and love in this game and those assets. The only little problem is that I didn't figure out what to do. Or to put it precisely, what to do to the alien, and with what without game overing the game. But really nice job on the game.

ale 2020-04-21 22:10

I really liked this one. The cinematics were impressive and the graphics and camera kinda reminded me of those old handheld Sims games (like Sims Bustin Out). I also agree with @vizitas about the doors, as it took me a bit to find them.

I couldn't figure out how to save the alien though :frowning: . I killed him with the first aid kit, then I was caught by the government. Adding the ability to skip the first cutscene would help improve the experience a lot IMO, since the game seems to be about trial-and-error, and every error forces you to restart.

@hollebecq-baptiste Thanks for playing, @pele90 @ale Thanks for feedback, I am going to add some tips to the post. Thanks for playing too ;D

kszaku 2020-04-22 20:49

I always dreamed about having an alien friend... Too bad I have accidentally killed him, and caused an alien invasion.

Then I played Responsibility, and it is a cute little game ;)

szkocka 2020-04-22 21:05

@kszaku Thanks for playing ;3

ponypen 2020-04-23 00:58

Cool little game! I second making the doorways a bit more visible. :) Good mood and atmosphere!

twistashio 2020-04-23 01:13

Cool game! I killed my alien but really enjoyed the game play! Good job

szkocka 2020-04-23 01:42

@ponypen @twistashio, thanks for playing and sharing your opinion. It means a lot to me ;)

I love that you are pushing the theme on "keep it alive." Amazing what you accomplished in the span of three days (hope you slept). I generally agree with what people have said above: really well executed graphics and audio - can be kinda difficult knowing what to do/where to go (I see you added a spoiler above).

detkakorben 2020-04-24 09:27

It is funny, but i found my self confused with gameplay. I tried to get alien drunk, but the goverment came and ruined my plans.

vex 2020-04-24 22:16

Super clever Take on the theme. It's a bit too surreal for me, bug it's an impressive big of work, especially given that you haven't done this stuff before.

nikchernyakov 2020-04-25 08:10

I like the cinematics and the humor in the game)

splitpainter 2020-04-25 08:51

Well, that's quite impressive, got my attention and kept me hooked. Literal interpretation of the theme done right, cool visual perspective - isometric, which I love.

cosmiccrystalgames 2020-04-25 13:19

besides the footsteps being a bit loud, I enjoyed the game and the cinematics throughout it. The different endings encourages re-playability and I liked the look of the title screen too! :)

szkocka 2020-04-25 14:10

@injured Yeah I kinda slept 4 hours twice and once 8h.

@detkakorben I heard that a lot lately, I wasnt able to get enough time to polish the game before submitting.

@vex I believe I will be making video about what I planned for the game and what I finally was able to deliver. There were a lot more content planned.

@nikchernyakov That was the point

@splitpainter I chose isometric cause it too, sad thing is I didnt have time to implement rotating camera and controller support

@cosmiccrystalgames The title screen was supposed to use the first cutscene as background, but as always, no time to implement ;c **Thanks for playing Everyone ;3**

reece-geofroy 2020-04-27 16:00

Nice work mate! Keep up the great work!I really liked the lighting you have going on in your game :]

sypdev 2020-04-27 16:01

Great game! The cutscene at the beginning was a nice touch. Im impressed on what you managed to do in 72 hours!

szkocka 2020-04-27 16:38

@reece-geofroy @sypdev Thanks for your opinions guys ^^

baptiste-barreyre 2020-04-29 14:58

Loved the game, the cinematic is good but a bit dark :/ just like the overall game, but I found a way to play
