Does this game require a controller or something? Maybe user error but I couldn't seem to make any key inputs do anything :(
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Controller

@gray-fustos you don't control the player you have to drag things with the mouse to try and kepp the player alive, sorry if i didn't make that clear enough!
Nice, but a little bit short game. Has potential for a full title. I liked the pixel art, although it felt like the ground texture didn't fit the rest of the art.
Cool idea! The music may be too intense for the pace of the game but other than that I like it!
Great game! The reddish graphics in combination music really create a dense mood!
Good idea but there are a lot of bugs and weirds :D
je je interesting concept :-) I reached level 3 but still couldn't go back to the door from the button
I once get locked seeing a closed door and a button on level 1 but having left behind the object... the scroll didn't go back. Have to reload game to recover. But on second level the player went back to the start of the level after touching a wrong placed elevator.
The concept is good and and the art nice. But I didn't clearly recognized the mouse icon at first, I thought it was an enemy or bullet and was a bit confusing :-)
Good work
@mikel i'm sorry for the glitches, but i am very grateful for your kind words, in the future i will try and make the icons more clear and easy to read!
@sver thank you for the compliments
I didn't know how to play the game until I read one of the comments here, maybe you should add a description of how to play on the game's page. I like the idea, it feels unique and fits the theme very well.
@odd1in thank you for your advice and nice words, i will change the page now!
I really liked the concept of the game, although HTML5 responsiveness isn't great - so an exe maybe would help. It's a bit fast paced at the beginning, and the player is a bit too close the end of the screen. I sometimes feel like i'm relying too much on peripheral vision. Overall, this one got my blood pumping a bit! Nice.
@abid if I end up making a full version of the game I will definitely add in your advice. Thank you for playing and the feedback!
Cool idea and pretty fun! I found the controls to be pretty awkward but I think it's because I was playing with a trackpad and not a proper mouse.
Really nice, it was a lot of fun and felt really polished. there was some issues with physics with the wood and if you keep hitting it into the player but it wasnt game breaking. I liked the music I think overall it was a really good game! Nice job!
Really cool concept, one of the more intense games I've played throughout the jam. I think my one critique for it would have to be that sometimes the dragging of the platforms felt a little awkward and unresponsive, but otherwise really good!
Really cool concept, but the graphics could use some polish, but the game is still very fun!
Nice concept. Clever use of a one-button control mechanic. Well done.
The controls would have been more intuitive if the blocks moved with the mouse. Don't know if it was the fact that I was playing in browser, but when dragging, the blocks moved slower that my mouse.
Good gameplay that I haven't had the opportunity to meet in the jam yet. A gameplay like this one allows you to imagine a lot of different levels and give a very good durability to the game. Have you considered a mobile version? Very good work.
Really nice concept, great job
fun concept! Several times lifting platform with guy on top resulted turn him around:\. But overall pretty stable for html build
@captandrey thank you, I had that problem during play testing but decided to keep it in to avoid having to slow down the moving platform. If I decide to continue the game I will make sure to fix this bug!
@thewrath Thank you for the compliments, if I decide to continue the game I will most likely port it to mobile so thank you!
Very nice idea! I like the innovation on this one. You dont move the player but rather the environment. Shame that i got stuck on a wall and couldnt move further into the game. But from what i have seen this could very well be the best one i have played yet. Also enjoyed the soundtrack alot!
It's great that you don't punish player for mistakes (you can bounce back and run again) and I absolutely love games with controls as simple as ones in yours. Well done!
This game is really nice. I liked the artstyle: the music goes really well with the pixel art. It has some glitches, for example i got stuck on level two with no option to restart. I think it is really good overall.
Very very fun and intuitive! I love the difficulty curve. A lot done in 72 hours! Great job keep it up!
Very innovative gameplay! I enjoyed it so much, I liked glitching the player with the plank in order to get height/glide, it just seemed hilarious to me. I also liked the rather smooth difficulty curve, the levels didn't get instantly harder, they progressively got harder and harder. Nice game design!
Nice game, some unique controls! The only criticism, in some parts when the little guy runs into a wall and starts walking towards the left side of the screen, the camera should position in the middle horizontally speaking or on the right hand side, otherwise it's difficult to see what's coming and how to make it shift direction. Other than that... great!
The idea was grand, and the controls felt intuitive, but the number of bugs ended up prohibiting my completion of the game. Maybe you'd have better luck with a click-based system than a dragging system?
First of all, I found your game because you commented on mine so thank you.
I enjoyed playing your game very much. All the level are very well though out. It needs a little bit of reflection in a fraction of a second and with the added music it gets very tense.
The graphics are rather basic and I would have enjoyed a little bit of "juice" when pressing buttons or destroying obstacles. Also walking in top of space between two objects is sometimes a little bit janky. Maybe you could have pushed the collision boxes a little bit closer ?
In total I feel like this game could really be extended with a little bit more polish and more levels. I would enjoy that very much
@pxgluz Thank you very much!
@kkrac I agree that the camera was quite basic and should've been improved, so thank you!
@adinimys In the third day of the Jam I started adding in polish but when I built the game there were some errors forcing me to remove before publishing the game, but I agree some polish would've been nice to add!
@hypermania I'm sorry for the bugs, I did think of making the game click based but thought that there would be to little things to do, but thank you for the suggestion!
The idea is cool but it gets really frustrating, when he turns around we can't see much of what's ahead of him and you can't do anything but wait it out till he dies or something. I liked the artwork (we both made a black walking blob for our games XD) overall, keep it up! I like the premise and idea!
I really like the idea of this game but think that there needs to be some sort of tutorial or explanation on how to play as I had to read the comments here to learn to click and drag. Simple yet effective and fun to play, well done on making a game that makes me want to play it again and again!
Awesome game! The first level was kind of hard because the player would stick completely to the right of the screen, making it hard to keep hold of platforms sometimes. But after that the other level had the player run in the middle and that made it a lot easier :smile: I love the minimalistic graphics and the player animation is really well done. Keep up the good work!
Ok, it's a really good game ! Had a little trouble with some mouse calibrating, but I don't know if it's from my computer or the game.
@rhinofreak I'm sorry for the bad camera it was quite basic, and I should've tried to make it a bit better!
@ponypen I did try making a tutorial but the art wasn't clear enough so sorry and I will try and add one in the future!
@lamasaurus sorry for that I must have forgotten to add the adjustments to the camera but thank you for carrying on!
@alia-zanetsu Thank you, I think there were a few problems with the build that could have caused this!
Thanks a lot for this game, the concept is really cool and theme is fully respected.
Interesting gameplay with good approach to the theme. Congrats!
@narom42 I really appreciate that!
@flamus Thank you very much!
Great concept! My little suggestion is that camera should move when going back so you see more. But other than that i really liked it!
@sypdev I agree but I wasn't able to add a more complex camera in the jam. Thank you though!
Cool and original idea. Got stuck though:

@keppu you have to hit the button with the plank. Thank you for playing my game!
Cool concept, one of the better I've played this jam with a similar premise. The art was nice enough, bit some asset didn't fit with the pixel resolution of the others. Felt a little jumbled together. Music was a little too theatrical for me :) A nice retro tune would've fit better in my opinion than a drama orchestral soundtrack.
The controls worked fine for the most part, but sometimes, the dragging of the platforms felt a little off. I had to pull multiple times to get it to move short distances. Other times, it almost went too fast. Seemed like it was tied to the total distance it can travel (or something)
Still, the challenge was nicely balanced and I was on my toes the whole time to not get the little guy killed. Was able to beat it in my first try. Good job!
I like this concept of controlling the environment instead of a character, Played some games in this jam based around that and enjoyed them all :).
The art is rather inconsistent but okay enough for jam purposes. Gameplay worked fine, although dragging things to the sides felt much less responsive than dragging up/down. I found it a bit surprising that I can drop a plank on my adventurer's head and it doesn't squish him at all - he just kept on running :laughing: I also wish the camera was a bit more zoomed out - somewhat too close to the action for my liking.
Overall, it's a fine jam game!
Wow, quite impressive! I like the concept and graphics. Sounds are nice too but a little bit raw and rough :) Also, i wish there was a retry button or smth like that cause I stuck in one place and could do nothing :D Anyway, great job! I'd like to play this later if you gonna post LD :)
Awesome game! Too bad it's so short.
Only issue is that you can sometimes get stuck and you have to reload the page loosing progress. Restart, or "kill" button would be enough to make the problem go away :)
Art looks awesome, music adds so much tension - I was so stressed playing and my gf too, just by watching me play.
Great job. Cheers!
@ryzy27 thank you so much!
