I like the ambience! Simple but well executed mechanic.
Nice take on the theme. I liked the mechanic of moving/dodging with the balloon.
I get this error when executing the game in Windows 10: "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found"
Well, that was funny! Very unique and creative mechanics. It reminded me of the mobile game "Bacon" for some reason. I think it could be developed further and be a cool mobile game.
Cute graphics and nice music although it suddenly stops and it doesn't play anymore.
As far as the gameplay... To be honest I didn't know what I had to do. I jump into one of the red fish with the eye, and then I swim with the fish but don't know where to go from there. The starving meter is a bit fast I think (or maybe it isn't since I didn't know what to do so as not to starve). If you swim all the way to the right you get off screen and lose sight of your fish. The controls were a bit weird at first but you get used to them after a while.
Update: ok, after a while I figured out what I had to do. I did see the arrow from the beginning but still it wasn't very clear to me what to do. Maybe a simple line at the beginning with the mission of the game will be enough to let the player know what the goal is. Why are the controls for the red fish and for the golden ones different? I think that was confusing.
With some polishing I think it could be a nice game for mobile. Keep it up.
Amazing graphics and gameplay. Any reason why you included the smash with the feet attack? I mean, is it better or different in any way to the fire attack?

Nice take on the survival genre which fits perfectly with the theme, it got me hooked for a while. I liked especially the text part, well executed, the game could actually revolve only on that part.
Not THAT aligned with the theme tbh. But, then again, the theme is just a guide, right?
Anyway, the game is SO awesome that the theme doesn't matter in this case.
Great job. You need to expand this and make it a full game.
Great game! The dialogues I think were the best. The artstyle is cute. I see potential for developing further.
Besides the issues with the collision whenever you run into a wall, it was a fun little game.
I made a mistake when publishing the game and tagged it as Compo by mistake. I actually participated in the Jam version. Alone but in 72hs. Thanks for trying it. I will try all of your games as soon as I can.

Edit: I was able to make it so the link is visible at the bottom without the need to scroll the page.
As for your feedback, thanks a lot. Great you found it sort of pleasing. Yeah, agreed about the difficulty, I'm still tweaking it and trying to balance it to make it more difficult.

Thanks @louis-mareau for the feedback. Not sure how to loop the music, I didn't create it nor I know much about music editing so I'll have to dig into that, but you're not the first one that mentions it.
As for the shape of the characters, true. They collide in not the better way with the circular border. I have to fix that or change it. If I continue evolving this, that border might go away entirely and be more about dungeon with rooms.

Sure thing about the music, not sure how to make it loop... not skillful at all with music or music editing apps. The music is not even mine, so I'll have to start learning a bit about music editing I guess.
True also about the collisions with the arena borders, I have to fix it or just get rid of the arena borders.
Good idea about slowing everything down with the special weapon. The idea was that it increases damage drastically, but I agree that it's not yet worth it if everything isn't slowed down.
And regarding the rythm... good point. I'll see what I can do about that.

thanks for the feedback @hwaet. True thing about the arena border, I'll probably remove it and let an open space world or dungeon. And I have to improve the spawning mechanism as well so it doesn't happen what you experienced.

@boxedmeatrevolution : yeah I'm continuously tweaking the difficulty/balance of the prototype. At first it was too easy, now a bit too hard maybe. I'll continue experimenting as I make progress. Thanks for the feedback.

Such a cool management game. You can turn out this into a fleshed out game for mobile.
Some comments: I didn't have any need to use the rum room or the food room (in normal mode at least). Maybe put some starving meter as well that will force you to use those rooms? Or that the bedroom doesn't increase morale too much so that you need to give them rum or food every now and then.

Really very unique controls! Different to what I've seen in other platformers. In some moments it can be really tough to precisely climb onto a short platform before your guy crashes run into the wall to turn around and fall again. With some control polishing it can be interesting. Keep it up!

Very nice animations of how the ball deforms depending on where it falls or when you jump. Too many obstacles to jump on, I think, which kind of blocks your jumps.

Very nice little game. It could be launched with some minor changes for mobile. The instructions didn't mention the double jump but it was fun. In order to make it more difficult the speed could go up a bit gradually or include some enemy that flies across the screen from right to left. Keep it up.
Nice concept and a good way to urge the player to move fast without a real timer. The controls were good although sometimes they felt a bit off, or maybe some platforms above water were too small which made it difficult to jump exactly on top of them and not fall. Very nice graphics and level design. Keep it up!

I like the Actions cooldown mechanic: one cooldown for any action. Restrictive, which makes you think. I didn't understand the purpose of the banners though, if there was an explanation I missed it. Nice music and I liked the rustiness of the movement of the little guys!
Awesome graphics, I like the 2d-3d mix. The pace is a bit slow for my taste, but good game nonetheless.
Cons: Controls were a bit wonky: you clicked on something that comes close to the camera, and when you click on it to close it, some other thing on the back (Nessie's photo) pops-up. On Day 3 the game halted: I thought it was part of the game because it all blurred, but it never came back. The usage of the theme is a bit far-fetched but then again... it's just a guide, right?
Pros: Graphics are gorgeous, I liked the rotation of the camera simulating(?) 3D. The music was very nice too. It could be a good escape-the-room sort of game if polished. Nice game.
I won! The mechanic of the NPCs killing each other was interesting. I think more levels could have been designed around that mechanic which could have been exploited more, but understandable with the time constraints. Good job.

Nice one indeed. Good graphics and the music was awesome. Being picky, the only thing I could say that could be improved is to highlight the player somehow to make it stand out from the bandits. Sometimes, when a level started I didn't know right away which one I was and I lost some lives because of that.
I liked the fact that you could kill your own cows, makes it more challenging but it's a good mechanic , not seen very often. And the bonus of an extra life for saving all cows was a good mechanic as well.

Nice game, some unique controls! The only criticism, in some parts when the little guy runs into a wall and starts walking towards the left side of the screen, the camera should position in the middle horizontally speaking or on the right hand side, otherwise it's difficult to see what's coming and how to make it shift direction. Other than that... great!
