Sadly it freezes every time I try to play :(
I was unable to play it, as it froze at the start
Didn't work for me :( The game loads, but gets stuck after a few seconds, can't input anything either. Preview looks fun though!
.exe crashed for me after showing splash screen for a quarter second and HTML5 webapp shows a black screen after the game starts for half a second as well
I can't get either version to load. The web one shows the meatball for a split second then goes black, windows version won't load at all.

The webgl is really laggy for me so I tried to download but that won't start.

The game seems to crash instantly on windows, and the webGL version seems to stop the second you try to play it. What a shame! I was really curious to see what this was about, especially with the strange little man you play as. More games need sack characters, this is a scientific fact.

You need to also upload the .pck file that the godot generates, otherwise the game will not work.

Actually a pretty fun game to be honest. Shame the map didn't go up very far. The mechanics were fairly simple to get used to and the aesthetics aren't to bad. Although perhaps each different platform should have a a different rotation start because when they are all verticle it is very had to stay up. Other than that a like the concept. With a little more time this could be a reasonable game :)
FUn little game you made there, adding the facial features to the ball definitely gave it humour especially since they react accordingly to what it happening in the game. Would love to see this game developed further as I managed to reach the top of the levels in the exe file, I managed to get a score of 26. Just a side note, the player can fall into the abyss if they fall off the platform, a couple of invisible walls would fix that right up. Great job!

Okay, there is not much gameplay, but the meatball is really cute.
We were just playing your game, it's a bit unclear as to what the intention is, maybe you could have the platforms rotate seperatly so it becomes more likely to be able to get higher up. Also audio would help out ! WE LOVE THE BLOBBY GRAPHICS THOUGH !!!!
The blob character is a lot of fun to play around with and has a lot of character. Some sounds would have really brought this home. Trying to climb higher is definitely a lot of fun, it has a real "Getting Over It" vibe and if developed further it might be a good foundation!

Very nice animations of how the ball deforms depending on where it falls or when you jump. Too many obstacles to jump on, I think, which kind of blocks your jumps.

For me it worked and it was really fun. After 25 points there were no platforms anymore but I really liked the ballsack style :laughing:

This looks nice and is fun to control. The ball wobbles in a satisfying way, and I think I managed to "pop" it when I jumped down from the top. It's unfortunate that you didn't have time to make more of a game! I think that controlling this wobbly blob through some proper levels would be a lot of fun :smile:
well, that fluffy thing Is something. So liquid, it's super nice. Not quite a game though. But has a lot of potential for a game. I would like to see it coming soon on full scale.

The squishiness of the ball is great, and adds a lot of personality to the game. I would have loved to see platforms or obstacles with different behaviours, but that's definitely something you can explore post-jam. Well done on this!
Thanks for getting it up and running so I could finally play. I have felt enchanted by the gaze of your flesh ball since I first laid eyes on it, and I was clamoring to play despite the technical issues. As for actual criticism, it looks like you've already acknowledged that it's pretty unfinished, so I won't be too hard on you for that. I will say that the platforming control was awkward, I had trouble figuring out when the game would let me jump, and wound up just holding down the button, because then I would always jump.
Nice job on making a 3D game with some soft-body physics. I'd be interested to see what this game can become down the road.

I am curious. Do the soft body physics effect the movement/collision, or is that done with a collider with the soft body just affecting animation?

I have a lot of issues with this game sadly.
1 - the frame rate is abysmal with constant crashes 2 - How is this related to keep it alive? 3 - There is no proper way to quit other than closing it through the taskbar 4 - the physics is just weird, it doesn't work with a softbody :( 5 - No audio at all, no music, no weird squishes or anything 6 - no variance to the gameplay
The Idea is cool and it had a lot of potential, but the execution was just off. I mean, for a 3D physics game made in 2 days, it's good, but only ok, nothing groundbreaking.
Do I seem too harsh? Sorry if I do seem that way, it's an OK game.

eventhough I don´t know what this was, it was oddly satisfying to try to get higher... and perhaps the experience would be even better if the player is high(er) as well :D I spent with it more time than initially intended. Would be definitelly curious about the final product and what is this actually about.
I liked how the ball moved and was animated. It felt nicely squishy :)
The gameplay was somewhat lacking though, it felt like there is not that much to do. But I guess that's only natural for a limited jam time. Some sound effects would be awesome, would really add to the atmosphere. I also wasn't able to find any ending (or even any way to close the game besides altf4 ;)), not sure if there is one.
You may have something there concept-wise, I can definitely see it becoming an engaging little game. But I also don't see how it relates to the jam theme.
I can’t stop thinking that... the character looks like a giant leather ball X) This is very distracting. I couldn't fully understand what the meaning of this game was and how you wanted to connect it with the theme, but ... control felt so nice? I don’t know why, but to make this ball fly is very satisfying sometimes. I would like to see this project as you intended it, to be honest.
Jumping around as this squishy ball felt super satisfying! :D I couldn't find any ending to the game but I got a score of 27, so that's cool.
I can see the potential of making this to a fun platformer game, so if you want I think you can keep it going :)
I didn't see any connection to the theme in this game but you said that you didn't have time to finish it so maybe you didn't have the time to add the theme in.

The ball looks really good! I have no idea what magic gives it it's form, but it looks like soft body physics or a really good approximation. I like that you gave it some personality with a face. The jumping feels a bit weird. Sometimes it doesn't jump when I want to and sometimes it unexpectedly does. Nonetheless I'm impressed by what you did there in Godot 3D, which is not very widely used.

Well this is interesting. The platforms were rotating at 10x speed of what's displayed at the gif, but it didn't bother me much.
I ended up reaching what I think was the maximum score of 25 (??). Climbed to the top of the platforms anyway :P
I would love to take a peak on the source code of the ball's movement and deformation, so, if you decide not to turn this in a proper game, I would like to be tagged anytime ^^
