LD46 — Keep it alive (20)

Test-a-ball by JAsonsumm1 2020-04-23T10:55:55Z ♥ 2

For me it worked and it was really fun. After 25 points there were no platforms anymore but I really liked the ballsack style 😆

Eggcellence by JamieOK 2020-04-23T10:46:00Z ♥ 2

Great game. At first it was really hard to hit the animals, but then I got used to it. It also head a nice mood and graphics!

SPOF: Single Point Of Failure by spectralcascade 2020-04-23T10:34:45Z ♥ 1

I had trouble cutting the connections but other than that, great game. A bit slow, as others already said. But I liked it.

Save the Package by Algebro 2020-04-23T10:20:37Z ♥ 3

Okay the game itself is quite good, I think defending hitler is pretty tastless but thats just my opinion and I won't let it influence my vote. I am german, so maybe I am more sensible to something like this...

Other than that, it was good, nice work with the models and weapon implementation!

Abyssal Accessory by Junber 2020-04-23T10:05:55Z ♥ 3

Essentially what the others are saying: great story, great mood. Only thing to improve would be the buttons. They were kinda hard to hit with the mouse. Maybe assign a key for each. Other than that: great game!

Hearth by rubentipparach 2020-04-23T09:45:48Z ♥ 1

I like it! As others pointed out the mouse sensitivity was too low for me. But I liked the aesthetics and the sounds! Thanks for your game, it was fun!

RushBomb by Gelgavish 2020-04-23T09:32:38Z ♥ 2

Thanks for your game, it was quite fun! I encountered some of the known bugs which were a bit annoying but I think thats okay, especially if you did it with your own engine. And I really liked the labyrinth level design!

Ultimate Kick Ball by Random Thoughts 2020-04-23T09:22:36Z ♥ 2

At first I was a bit confused by the controls, especially "W" doing nothing, I kept hitting it and losing. After figuring it out, I really liked the gameplay itself, it's hard but not too hard, I wanted to try again a few times! Thanks for this game!

IT KEPT ME ALIVE by Dylan Dugan 2020-04-23T09:16:11Z ♥ 1

Could you maybe explain, how to run it? In both of the downloads there only is a "Contents" folder and nothing to run... Thanks in advance!

Roho - immortality of a deer stalker by stuembi 2020-04-23T08:53:36Z ♥ 2

I really liked the music too. It fit the style (graphics and color scheme) perfectly in my opinion. It lagged a bit for me, especially when "shooting", but that (surprisingly) didn't take much of the fun away. It was hard but not too hard, once i got used to the mechanics, I really liked the gameplay!

Ultimate Planet Habitat Support Tester 2020!! by mikouaji 2020-04-23T08:41:59Z ♥ 1

Nice idea, for me it was really hard to find a balance. As soon as I removed or added a species, my planet died in like 10 seconds 🙁 But I really like the concept itself, with a bit more work (more than is available in the compo (oof)), this could be really fun. Thanks for your game! 😃

The last plant by AdrianKrawczyk 2020-04-22T09:55:05Z ♥ 1

Same as others pointed out: I really liked it for the first few minutes but the fun began to fade. Maybe top down would've been a better choice. But I liked the style and the gameplay itself!

Phase 7 by tangiblegames 2020-04-22T09:42:10Z ♥ 1

Wow! At first I thaught: This is waaay too easy. But then I noticed there where more levels. It was a nice paced, satisfying game. Thank you and good luck!

Mirror by isaque-picao-sanches 2020-04-22T09:30:47Z ♥ 1

Sadly I got totally lost in the prison and even with the guide and after 10 minutes I didn't find an exit. Did you let somebody testplay the game? Maybe that would've been a good idea.

Nontheless, I really **liked the idea itself**, also the design and the character (letter) animation ;)

Dunkegg by Luke Perkin 2020-04-21T10:56:40Z ♥ 1

I liked the *look* and the feel of the game. Also the *idea* of moving two eggs is quite cool, I did never see something like this before.

Sadly my PC was a bit too slow in performance, which dampened the fun a little. Also downloading half a GB took a while. But those two things are not the games fault (I think)

All in all, really *impressive*, especially given the timeframe!

Amalgamage by TheWustache 2020-04-21T10:45:01Z ♥ 3

This is really good! At first I thought the graphics were too "busy" but I got used to id really fast. The game is hard but not too hard (best I could do was 24). The graphics and the sound fit really good. This is a nice package!

Ludum Defendare by Cievers 2020-04-21T10:27:21Z ♥ 1

I liked it. The only thing I would improve is *adding a health bar*. I didn't know when I would die.

Also I really liked the idea. That was refreshing!

Me. Fire. Run. Cave. by Ryano 2020-04-21T10:16:02Z ♥ 3

After I figured out the timings of the jumps, it was fun! The first trys were a bit frustrating but then I got a hang of it.

There is a small bug that when you land on the edge of a platform, you cant move. Was eaten by a hendgehog a few times.. 😆

All in all: great experience!

Feed the Fire! by Tommeh 2020-04-21T10:05:14Z ♥ 1

As other commenters pointed out, I also didn't find the ax. I would have really loved to explore more of the world (especially the people and forbidden areas) but the fire died before.. Nice work, nontheless!

The Reef by jakemchugh1 2020-04-21T09:53:57Z ♥ 1

I really like the graphics and the mood of your game. I think the interaction rate is a bit off, every time I increase it, the ecosystem dies. Other than that it is a nice simulation (maybe more of a simulation than a game, but that's totally ok!)
