This game is suuuper juicy, very nicely polished. I really dig that screen shake!

Ok, this was enjoyable for real! The only thing i can mention is that if you got the ball just bouncing straight, you could go forever. Id like to see the green "redirectors" despawn and respawn to correct this issue. Multiplier system was great, feeling was top notch!
@luddegodofpain I faced that problem too! I was hoping for the score system to be a soft motivator as the faster you go the more points you get + bouncing off the walls increases your multiplier. I wanted to add enemies too that will try to slam down the ball, with a slower moving ball being easier for them to spike it down, but did not have enough time and felt like that will make the game much too difficult. Thanks for the suggestion though, its a much simpler fix that I for some reason didnt think of :v:

Love how fluid this feels! Simple gameplay but definitely has you playing over and over trying to beat your high score.
This game felt fresh and I had fun playing it. The music was catchy too. Would love to see a post-comp version of this! --Anna
A fun game, though difficult to maintain a combo. If the controls were refined a bit more and maybe the collision detection with the ball was a bit more forgiving then this would be a great game to eat up a few hours! I would assign the jump button to 'replay' to allow quicker restarts and not have to use the mouse each time.

your graphic style is minimalist but effective. very beautiful pinball in football mode. a relaxing and stressful game at the same time! it's perfect ! gg
Took me a while to figure out how to actually kick (did I miss instructions somewhere?). The addition of the direction changes was a good idea, but I second the opinion that they should despawn/respawn on a timer if they're not triggered. Maybe have special targets to aim at for big point bonuses?
Love that animations! Music stops after several attempts, but the game is pretty engaging. :smiley:

Nice game, the controls feel really solid, really like the feel of them and the whole game seems pretty well built.
At first I was a bit confused by the controls, especially "W" doing nothing, I kept hitting it and losing. After figuring it out, I really liked the gameplay itself, it's hard but not too hard, I wanted to try again a few times! Thanks for this game!
Fun game, the controls are pretty solid. I also like how the ball gets more oval when it has a higher velocity. The walk animation looks really funny. Maybe a larger variety of modifiers with which the ball could collide would have kept me engaged even longer. Keep up the good work!
So very fun game with AWESOME game feel, good job on that, i might have found an exploit though by kicking only the ball up and then simply jumping when it comes done, i stoped at 1000 point but could go way longer Capture d’écran de 2020-04-23 13-57-38.png

Nice graphics and sounds, feels like a complete game. One thing that took me a while was when I had the ball parallel to the edge of the screen, couldn't make it bounce of the edge until I discovered I can bounce off of the wall to give it directional momentum too.
Catchy and quite addictive little thing. The only thing I would consider changing is the ball behaviour, since I was able to stop the action, basically anytime with just jumping and hitting the ball straight up. And you can stay at that stay for as long as you keep pressing ´space´ bar :) . But this can be hardly a complaint, overall really solid entry. Great job!
One of the favorites so far. Really satisfying game feel!
The core mechanic is simple but the game feels really good: that bounce effect is superb and the main character movement is well polished. My high score: 2737
Great job, I really liked the animation on the person when they run. I was able to just hit the balloon straight up seemingly forever, though it was really boring was to cheat the game.
