Really nice game. I'm only missing some music and sound effects. The steering of the car also doesn't really "feel" like steering a car, but that's really difficult to get right in 72 hours.

Fun game! I got all the way up to level 7 but only managed to get 2 5x5s
"We chose something smaller scope so we’d actually finish something this time." And finish it you did. This is probably the most polished game I have seen so far. The art looks amazing! The only thing I'm missing is some music and sound effects (for example when the skunk is eating).
The scaling on the intro screen does not work properly. Make sure to set the 'UI Scale Mode' of the 'Canvas Scaler' to 'Scale with Screen Size'. And always test multiple aspect ratios in the editor by simply changing the size of the game window.
I can also only play one level. Did something go wrong with the level loading? Or did you run out of time?
The controls need some work. You should be able to look up and down and the mouse should not stay visible. The mouse should be invisible and not be confined by the edge of the screen, allow you to spin around freely. The sensitivity was also really high. The level did look pretty though.
I Played it long enough to notice that you didn't loop the music
Very nice game, well done. The only problem is that its a bit 'generic' (as you might have realized ). Some abilities like freezing or effect based damage or spikes or etc., would make the game more fun. But that might be beyond the scope of a jam game.
I feel this game is too difficult. The small fast moving asteroids are hard to see on the dark background and don't give you a lot of time to react. To balance things out, I would look at making the sun invulnerable and making the asteroids brighter and slower. Concept is very cool and original however, but the imbalance makes it less fun to play.
I love the top down 3D view, and how the furniture turns semi-transparent when you go underneath it. It looks very cool. The game is just very hard. Without a boost, it is almost impossible to survive a smack. And the second smack happens before the boost recharges. At first I thought this was intentional, to force the player to run between furniture. This was my strategy for the first level, and then the hallway happened...
I really like the idea of not killing enemies. It fits the theme perfectly.
I made it through 83% of the night. I didn't realize I would start moving slower when almost frozen, and I didn't make it back in time . The pixel art looks great, the music and sound effects sound great... just great.
(Please use space or shift for the interact button instead of the random 'k')
Since you mentioned you were beginners, I'd recommend you create a 2D game next time. It's a lot less complex than a 3D game. The art looks nice. However, the title screen does not match the game and the game sprites in the game mix different styles. This to me suggest that you either did not communicate well about the style of the game, or that you used online sprites (in which case you should have opted out of the graphics category)
Next time aim for a more manageable scale. A simple 2D arcade game, for example.
@barbiche I'm glad someone noticed. I put way too much time into that animation 😅
Anyway, I got the music from the YouTube Audio Library. It's called Ocean Beach. Here's the link:

I love the way this game looks, with the tiles popping in and out. If only I knew how to "put this hammer to use"
