This art style is really lovely and pretty, nice color palette. Also the game itself was fun and on point for the theme. I just wish there was no game over because I'm so terrible that I need to start from the beginning all the time. Nice, pretty and juicy game! Good job :)

Wow!! This game is the real deal. I love the old school arcade difficulty; I spent about 30 minutes before I finally beat it. Lovely graphics, simple, crisp controls. 5/5!
Instead of a 'try again' button after dying, I would have preferred a 'go' button at the start of each level. That would have given me time to look at the board and strategize

Trabajo brutal, sencillo pero muy efectivo. Los sonidos encajan a la perfección y la sensación al jugarlo es muy agradable. Solo he echado de menos algunos niveles más.

@MikeSalyh thanks for your feedback. *There was* that button but in the end I felt it broke the pace of the game too much and I removed it to make everything flow better. I will think about this in future games. :cow2:

Simplistic, but very well thought out mechanics, polished sounds and movement. Very cool game!
Definitely one of the best so far! Great job! I only wish I didn't have to completely start when running out of lives. I get it, that is what lives are for but some of those levels are hard! haha. Overall the game feels super polished and the gameplay is addictive! (That little camera shake when you shoot adds a lot to the feel). Bravo!

This game! I simply love it! The Gameplay may not be anything special, but it's super tight. The art direction is great (I love the palette! It may just be four colors, but oh, are those colors well chosen), the sound design is absolutely outstanding - it's unbelievable, how so few sounds can have SO MUCH character - and the theme song is AWESOME. Seriously, if this was a real arcade I would have gladly put my money into it! <3 <3 <3
That was refreshingly simple but awesome at the same time. I really love the reduced artstyle and gameplay. I will take you as an example for future game jams to really polish a game to its very core and not overload it ( like i do most oft the time, haha). Great Job!

Nice game, but it can get quite difficult around stage 4, 5 and 6 (probably above 6 as well, but I didn't get that far). The art and colours are great, and so is the music. All around pretty good, just a bit difficult.
Awesome game in all the possible ways. Fun and easy to play, hard on the last stages, the art is very cool and the audio fits perfectly all the above.

Fun. Nice music. Great simple retro art, just the right amount of work for a jam. Beat it with only a few deaths. No complaints!

Great aesthetic and game all around! Really easy though, but it might just be that I'm good at mashing my mouse like crazy.
@Fupi is not a hard game at all, for a LD I didn't want the game to take too long to complete so most people could leave with a good taste in their mouths. Some people find it really difficult, though!

So good! These shootouts really make you feel like you are in a western.
I was able to beat it! It's pretty hard and it took several tries. The AI feels pretty competent. I think the most frustrating things for me is there's no lead time to when the bandits fire, so it's pretty hard to predict where the shot is going to come from. The shots visually are a different color, but since it's a muted color palette it can be a bit hard to track as well. The art is very nice and I liked the ending. nice job!
Nice one indeed. Good graphics and the music was awesome. Being picky, the only thing I could say that could be improved is to highlight the player somehow to make it stand out from the bandits. Sometimes, when a level started I didn't know right away which one I was and I lost some lives because of that.
I liked the fact that you could kill your own cows, makes it more challenging but it's a good mechanic , not seen very often. And the bonus of an extra life for saving all cows was a good mechanic as well.

Great game! It is funny and addictive. It has a lot of work, which is impressive given the time limit we have. The audio and graphics were nice, too.
