The music was a bit jarring, and maybe the controls were too floaty. But overall it is a very solid game for your first game jam, so you should be very proud!
Cute visuals, really good atmosphere and simple but interesting gameplay thanks to a huge maze full of intricate paths, that coupled with the inventory restriction and the keeping the torch alive mechanic creates a great spooky puzzle that is easy to pick up and gets to the point while incorporating the theme in way that is subtle but fundamental to the whole experience. Great job!

Good game! You created a very nice mood with the ambient music, the art, and the opening sequence. The tutorial was very nicely implemented: informative and unobtrusive, I love it! Plants were a bit too fragile for the seeds they give, and it was hard to get rid of pests with the charging lasers. Overall, a very good entry, with balance issues that are normal in a game jam like this.
Great art and very relaxing mood. The gameplay was a bit slow though, but overall I enjoyed the game and adding some AI to the anibuns was a great surprise
