Very nice game. Movement and story is funny. I liked the integration of menu button and dialogs in the gameplay. Although, It might have been better if bullet moved a little bit slower or if camera would have been a bit further from chameleon.
Hello, it was alright for a first game. A background on first screen text could have helped to read it. Was a bit simple and it consisted to just wait for money to generate. Could have been good to have random events breaking stuff maybe. Thanks though :)

I loved the 8bit graphics. Even though it did good to the 8bit feeling, the death animation could be a little bit quicker. Could have use some 8bit sounds to go with it. Had some troubles on some colliders. Reminded me of lemmings. Nice game overall ! The theme link is not stressed enough (I guess it has to do with side teleportation which forms a loop). The typing sound was quite annoying (maybe a bit too loud). I had choices at the beginning then nothing and clicked many times before reading "Victory", text should appear quicker I guess. Drawings are colorful. Thanks
Thanks for your feedbacks. Just to be sure, when you talk about the second jump : the second "hanging tree" should be reached by climbing the rope and not swinging :)
The game is super fluid on our side and on "gaming" computers (> 60FPS). I just tried on a less powerful one with just a graphic chipset not made for gaming and it is quite slow it is true. We'll check if something can be improved. If you have any problems please try the windows executable as it has a great impact on performance

Thanks for your feedbacks @rodgems & @zachsbutt. We had more air mobility at first but people were struggling to anticipate their jumps. Maybe with some sliders in a menu it could satisfy everyone. Definitely something worth thinking but not for this LD I presume :)
@flying-basement-studios Thanks ! Yeah it would need some fine tuning on air-mobility and camera speed. Where did you go ? After the castle tower ? There is actually and end so keep pushing if you'd like to. Air mobility is there to slow down but not to accelerate so you really have to swing and jump at the right time to cross great distance

I totally agree an intro would be useful to grasp bit by bit the rope mechanism. Controls are explained in the menu but a tutorial is always a good thing, we'll think about it for LD48 ;).

Thanks for your feedback @saering ; I'll try to implement your idea. It is true that we are used to FPS so we might have pushed too high the difficulty as it was okay for us. Playtest are key to balance the game. I'll notify you once corrected.

@weeping-rupee Thanks for the stream. You can actually climb the rope (right clic + W/S) so it would have been easier to get higher haha, but you managed without it. You also were able to open the castle door with the rope thingy hanging with "E", that one is not clear enough. You had a unique bug towards the end it never happened to anyone so sorry about that.
It was actually knuckles cracking and the rope noise was me scrubbing polystyrene. All sounds and musics are composed so I'm glad you noticed :)
Thanks overall for your compliments. Mirror's edge was clearly in mind designing this 3D platformer so I'm glad you saw that as well
@kruemelkeksfan @osel13 We definitely should have implemented the control in a more natural way during gameplay sorry about that, will do for the next game. The "hanging ropes" are actually interruptors that should be activated with "E" (kind of a pulling interruptor), it should have been clearer as it is not well understood from players. Thanks for your feedbacks !
@jakob-reborn Thanks for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Definitely something wrong with the lever to pull mechanism (you have to press E to interact with it and open the doors). We'll do better next time :)

Thanks @nocity for your review. It is possible you skipped some. Actually, If you master the swinging mechanic you can skip entire parts of the level (castle one for instance). Browser performance greatly depends on the computer but executable is more stable. Also it seems webgl works smoother on Firefox than on Chrome.

Congrats on your entry i really liked the humour of getting stuck and stuck each time. We had the same theme interpretation of being stuck in a loop like physically but our entry does not play with humour like yours.

Controls are hard to handle (mostly rotation). Loved the voice acting and the idea. Leaderboard adds much to it ! Good job

Great horror atmosphere, I agree with most comments above. Awesome graphics, great sound design, lack of feedback to understand what can be done and time loop a bit too short to understand what needs to be done. With such a short time loop it is a bit annoying that the view gets blurred so often preventing us to read or see what we're doing. Some fine tuning but a great entry overall !

Hey @giangero, thanks for your comment. Yeah concerning camera there is two scenario commonly, forward is camera's forwards or player forwards, we chose camera's, but I'm glad you succeeded to beat the game. Thanks for the comment about music I composed it so it means a lot :)

Hey @jfroggg, thanks for your comment. Yeah a death screen could have been good but with the timer reaching 0 and the explosion (although not quite clear if you don't face it) we thought it would be enough, that was a mistake ^^

Thanks for your feedback @lrvstudios. I know what you mean but we already had done FPS games so we wanted to experiment new things, that's what jams are for. The camera could be improved for sure with some time. It so dependent on user mouse sensitivity too that it's hard to find the right setting without playtesting. The game is compatible with controller and it is more playable because everything is normalized :)
Hey @sorlok, He might be the chosen one haha. Seriously, we did something to prevent him walking on water but it was not enough apparently, not too serious for a bug. The drill needs gas, so it might have run out while you were collecting stuff elsewhere. Mouse sensitivity is our real problem on this entry, sorry about that. Thanks for your comment.

Graphics are good, loved the style, and the idea too. Main problem is the pace, the dialogs are too slow and repetitive. Good job though
Really solid level of polished on graphics. The animation is smooth, LD is on point. I just got a little bit iritated by the footstep sound which is quite high and sounds too hard for a felin. Good entry overall. I got stuck with the guitar picture, took it but the little guy never unlocked the next level. We could have some highligh for the other characters as some of them are quite difficult to spot in some areas.
Solid mechanics, the controls are a bit harsh to get right. Same as @justine-d died on the rolling carpet of 1s & 0s. Good job
I did spend some time on this game and reached the deep. It lacks a bit of info even after reading tutorial (we don't understand the icons at first glance i guess) but the concept is good.
Loved the atmosphere and how it was unexpected. Did have some performance problem too on a decent machine. As @octopoid said, gpu instancing and batching should help. I read you used a hair system from blender, before exporting, click convert on your modifier and then join meshes together (CTRL J) in order to have only one draw call for all bamboo and not one per bamboo :) Hope it helps. Nice job ! Edit : I forgot to mention that the first time, the end did not appear ;)
Could have been more fun with some challenge as others have said but it is a nice job for two 14 years old guys, keep it up ! Don't forget to add some sound next time (music, sfx) ; You can even do some with your mouth and some tweaking on audacity, it is fun ! (On our entry, the drill engine is done like that for instance). Have a good one.
It's a decend 3d platformer. Nothing fancy but I hope you had fun and learnt a lot that's what jams are for. I might be mistaken here but I think you used a rigidbody to move the character. It felt a bit heavy to move, if it is the case then next time use a CharacterController for this kind of simple controls. If it is not then tweak a bit more the settings (speed and stuff) because Crash bandicoot is a nervous game. Have a good one.
