Nice job with this, pretty cool mechanic, more levels would have been nice but I see how this fits the theme this way
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD47 → NightmESCHER

Wow, super game
Great animations! Like the recoloring also. However I got stuck inside the doors sometimes.
I love seeing all these mind bending level settings. It really does hurt my brain though
Thanks a lot @cameronotten unfortunately I didn't have time to make more levels, but I think I've reached my goal for this jam.
Hi @axeltherabbit thanks a lot!
Thanks @mutuware Yes, the game needs more polishment, but unfortunately I didn't had time to do this.
Thanks @thedarkmagi It's a really nice concept indeed! Initially I was planning to add more bendings, but I had to reduce my scope to finish the game in time.
Cool entry! Nice concept and some nicely designed levels! Good job! :D
I love the graphics! Very interesting gameplay
Great entry. The level layout is superb. But the third time, it became a little bit boring to traverse through the level again. But overall, the atmosphere of a nightmare is believable. I enjoyed playing it!
Wow, this entry was awesome. Apart from the controls being a little bit hard to get used to everything else was superb. The only thing it was truly missing was audio which just would have elevated the experience more. I love the three dreams being those 3 well known nightmares, and the graphics and animations are excellent. Amazing job!
Very nice idea and level of polish! I agree that it becomes repetitive, but I also think that is the whole idea of this being a nightmare so it fits fine! Too bad there's no audio, that could have set the mood...
Thanks a lot @jag!
Hi @bereg, thanks! Initially I was planning to add more differences through the level, but I didn't had time.
Thanks @fonics Unfortunately I didn't had time to work on audio, and the game miss it a lot. I'll try to save more time to this next time.
Hey @ghuyajil thanks! I think if we became stuck in a loop, it will be repetitive... hehe... Actually I was planning to add more differences through the level, but I didn't had time. I wish I could worked in the audio too.
Really cool game. The concept is unique and fits well with the theme. The gameplay was very fun, and I liked the sense of disorientation I got from levers opening different doors, as well as the rotations of the different platforms. It was very fun to play in general, and I thought the graphics were cool. I think some music and sfx would help add to the atmosphere, and I think more variance in levels (maybe have the same basic level, but different connected doors/levers opening different doors) would be cool, because it would be less repetitive, but keep the right amount of repetition for it to still fit the theme well.
EDIT: I did really enjoy the game overall, though
Gameplay is simple but fun and the level design is good. I love the graphics too. Great game !
Reminded my of Etherborn, very cool. I particularly liked the end of the first level, I thought there was a deeper meaning into it. Also I would make the teleport based on the character position instead of the clicking point! Good job.
Wow. Just wow. Very polished game. Those mechanics must have taken ages to implement. Awsm!
this is pretty amazing graphics. I kinda expected unity engine when i saw that level rendering quality, but it didnt show unity logo so it needs to be something else. But the game is difficult, i only figured out how to open the first door, but didnt figure out how to get forward in the game. It would require more time to study how the game works. I'm suprised that you managed to create such nice levels in that short amount of time.
Really enjoyed playing this one. Took me a bit to wrap my head around the controls but after while I was moving around fairly fluidly. I think that the zoom out option shouldn't bring you back in and I wish I could control it. As a smooth brain it takes me a while to understand the whole level and the few seconds you get weren't enough
Took a while to get a hang of it but after that, really awesome game. Really loved the graphics in particular.
Very cool concept and nice execution.
Really neat concept and idea behind the theme. Really cool what you managed to get done in such a short time. Well done. :)
Very interesting game concept. It would have been even better if the order in which you should pull the levers to reach the end goal would change on every level. But even as it stands it's a very interesting take on a theme and can be made into a unique puzzle game.
Very nice game. It would have been cool to have a different level design (even if subtle: and subtle differences would be more challenging imo), between the different levels, but I suggest it rather for later, if you ever plan on continuing this game. Because the concept is really interesting. Congrats on this game!
Nicely implemented, interesting concept. Maybe a zoom out function to have an overview of the level at anytime would have been nice.
Nice game, reminds me of The Bridge, Back to Bed and Etherborn. The repetitive nature of the concept of being stuck in an endless loop by having to play the same game over and over again was somewhat offset by the different objectives.
I had some trouble getting through the doors until I figured out I just need to click on the wall inside the door.
Traversing the different surfaces was interesting! I would have liked to see some more quality-of-life tools for the player; some indication of which levers change which doors would have made it easier to focus on the puzzle element, and it would be nice if the zoom-out function was on a toggle rather than returning after a fixed time.
I think the levels would have been more interesting if the doors and levers allowed for different area of the level to be accessed; as it is the first level takes you on a tour of every area, so the later levels end up feeling the same. If the shortest path for the first level only went to a small portion of it the later levels could have been more interesting?
Otherwise it feels nicely polished; the isometric style and flat colours give it a distinctive look; good work!

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, I was off-line this days. Thanks a lot for the comments and criticism. As some of you suggested, the game really missed sound, I hope the next LD I can implement this in time.
@esphoros and @annie-owl, my initial idea was what you suggest, but I didn't manage this in time.
@eugenik Actually didn't take so much time. I recorded a timelapse, take a look below.
@tero-pulkkinen I did use Unity, I don't know why the logo didn't show in the beginning. If you had time, take a look at the timelapse below.
@moritz-jaeger there are a zoom out function in the game, just click on the icon on the left top corner on the screen.
@wilko Thanks! I decided to add the zoom out functionality at the end, so I just reused a method I already have.
@tjm excellent ideas, If I work more in this game I'll implement then. Thank you!

I like the basic principle, being stuck in your dreams, which are loopy and not rational. However I think it's a shame that you have to do the same pattern, the same sequence all the time to finish the level whatever it is.
If you're doing an upgrade, maybe a quick way to do variation without having to produce more assets (and use the work already produced wisely), would be: - to change the teleport links between doors, - and the location of the levers, => to add more and more complexity in term of reflection, at least that's what I was expecting after completing a loop.
While I was playing, in my head I was imagining something very childish like chimes, toys, with loop effects a bit glitchy that sometimes go forwards and sometimes backwards, etc. (a bit worrying because the subjects make me uncomfortable, this kind of dream almost a nightmare, but still quite sweet) I had a whole sound universe in my head ^^ I think it's your graphics that inspired me in this sense ...
Thanks for this nice little game! :D
@matlab idea for sound and music could be really a really nice thing. Good job with this entry!
This is a really great use of the topic. The gameplay is interesting. And the level design is great. I can see this growing into a full game of increasingly illogical and dreamlike levels where you are trying to escape from a dream world. Great job!
Adorei o jogo e a ideia é ótima, as animações são muito boas! Espero não ter esse tipo de pesadelo haha. Bom trabalho!
Nice game and great compo entry, congrats, impressive for a one man job ! A small indicator telling me where my sleeper is going could have been cool as it sometimes was a bit difficult to understand :)
Neat idea! This is technically really well executed, but lacks variety. Still, that we kept going until the "end" is a sign that the different interpretations of the levels were interesting - especially had to laugh about the "you are naked" dream! :D Thanks for making this!
