Really liked this one. I wish the ending was more showy though. Especially with how much work goes into getting to the end. Really liked the journey there though :)
I really liked the character designs guys. I definitely don't know how to beat it at all though. As others have said I just couldn't find enough copper to make any real progress.
The comment like and share definitely worked. I need to remember that for next time. I love the graphics btw the audio seemed laggy on my computer not sure if that issue is on my audio driver though. Very nice though guys can't wait to see what you do next :)
This is the most caught off guard so far this Jam for me. I was not expecting any of that and there were a few times I was like surely there can't be any more right? Yet there was. I love love love the art too you're sketch style is so wholesome. Can't wait to see more from you! :)
@flashviper You know doodling is a skill I've actually always been jealous of. I remember the first time I saw Napoleon Dynamite and the doodles were so mesmerizing to me. I wish I didn't have like shaky hand syndrome and could have those cleeeeeean and very purposeful lines. Makes me want to practice my hand drawn art more(Since I literal never do anymore haha)
The instant I hit a wall the camera flipped in a million directions. Very disorienting but once I got a grip of the controls I managed to make it through the first track. Definitely hard but very nice normal mapping on the track.
I can't tell if the music is the coolest thing, the butt crack, the limbs or the applaud yourselves button. Either way this is exactly what I was hoping to see this jam.
Really like the character who dips the cookies he's adorable
The only thing I would suggest is an end screen. I was very confused when after playing and running around for 7 minutes like a madman collecting stuff it just kind of ended. Very cool though and honestly it is really funny. Definitely one of the weirder ones I've seen this Jam. In a fun Goat Simulator kind of oddball way.
@narom42 There was an explosion??!! Yeah I missed that big time haha I guess if I had seen that the end would have felt different. As is though still really cool! There's great bones in this one.
The music and audio is awesome! The animations are suuuuuper smooth too. Only thing that was weird for me was I have 3 cats of my own and I was playing with headphones and the sound was so convincing of sounding distant that I legitimately took of my headphones and got up to see what they were whining about. Unintended immersion 10/10 would recommend cat owners play with headphones. Love it.
Edit: Even though I suck at it! I can't break past 16,000.
Hey take your time guys. The graphics are insane glad to see I'm not the only frog aficionado around here ;) Really cool beat too.
@teshimoto Downloading 1.0.2 now! Super excited to play this build also how did you shrink it so much from the original upload?
Edit: Just finished. It was super cool the Cthulhu boss at the end actually made me jump a little after so many of the other guys around every corner I just was NOT expecting that. Super cool guys!
The audio in this is great guys!

Glim is a great character I think there's something here for the future guys.

That's the best I ended up getting. Really hard but fun. I really like the perspective of the background as you descend further.
God these games are literal crack. Fun and I just put some music in the background I'm working on getting that last pickaxe as we speak. Good job :)
Man this music is crazy good in such a short time. Also I ended up with 65000. It feels like a modern retro Tempest. would love to see this one fleshed out :)
@ariorick I took a screenshot just in case! Current record holder? Official World Champ? Also your Soundcloud is amazing to chill and work to btw :)
@kro I fully agree. I think a big part of my issue was a late start and giving myself basically compo rules. All the models and all of the code was made during the jam and everything you see is basically what I had time to make. I even had to leave out a whole bunch of work I had done because of issues with my scripts. I've never actually done one of these definitely a huge learning experience. Hopefully next time I either a) Have made progress using Unity or b)Got together with someone to work as a team. Also 100% going to use free resources when needed next time. I'll probably still make the characters but I'm going to definitely leave out the stuff I don't need to spend time making. Thanks for playing though :)
@flashviper Thanks that means a lot especially coming from what I just played from you!
@duck-reaction Yeah the camera. This is a sore point for me especially! I had several camera systems in place and I wanted to have a Crash Bandicoot style follow through the map style camera but I ended up having to pull it last second and go with the base camera. I made some really cool code though while working on the other camera. Where it autogenerated a path and it did work but Cinemachine's tracking didn't quite work completely how I would want. I have some plans to expand on the idea though and it's not a total loss. Yeah this is going to def be a focus in the future. Ironic the thing I spent the most time on didn't even end up in the game haha Thank you for playing though :)
@pat-cleaver The music was a track that was completely generated yeah! I used the track and modified it in audacity into a couple different tracks I placed throughout the level to give it a little more variety from the one generated track. Pytchie is super cool and one of the easier tools like it I've used.
@sheinxy There definitely will be something coming out of this I hope. Like the player script I have here I actually think if fleshed out could feel a lot better and it's a physics based controller which I've never actually been able to make work until this point. I've always wanted to make something like Crash Bandicoot and I think some of what I have here could be useful. I'm more of a modeler myself so this was way outside my scope looking back but there's only one way to improve and it's to just keep trying right?
Very good feeling guys. Think this might take me forever to finish though that is a punishing life system.
This is amazing. I wish there was an ending though(Maybe there is I've been playing for a while now and no end in sight and I never run out of time now). On level 16 and might have to call it there. I do like that as you get deeper though the more likely certain things show up I think. I especially like the skeleton model and the redder lights as you go. Certainly a top contender so far for me :) Edit: Make that level 26 and yeah the timer isn't budging down. Really fun though. Would love to see a post jam version definitely!
