Very cute game! LOVE the artstyle and sound effects. The gameplay is pretty hard to understand. After playing for 5minutes, I wasn't really sure if I was playing it correctly. Got game over after while so I guess I was! :smile:
I realy loved the artstyle and the sound! I dont know if its made for a spezific size but the load bars were a littlebit off for me, and therefore it was hard to get into the mechanics. As soon as i had it i liked it a lot, u gave me funny 5 Minutes :smile:

The "my hands don't fit" part in the intro made me laugh out loud.
art style is amazing, it's like it jumped right out of a childrens book. there were a couple of bugs in the gameplay though :/. would love to see this polished up a bit more!

I really like the artstyle, as previously mentioned the loading bars were a little off, but for me it didn't affect gameplay. The music fit super well. The sound effects for eating/doing it wrong were perfect! The little cards at the beginning going ontop of each other was such a nice touch. The hand-drawn instructions went so well. Love how you took the theme of deeper and applied it to dipping cookies, it's so apt.

Super Cute!! Intro made me laugh, love the art style, gameplay was a bit lacking but strangely addictive! varying the speed was a good choice. Also... my 4 year old loves it =D

A visual delight mixed into a batter and baked to a simple prestine game! It's honestly it was a delight! * I do wish the gameplay is a bit more varied and I don't think difficulty was present the more you dip. (Time constraints, more cookies to dip in a short amount of time, etc.) * The way you present how much you have to dip is good enough. * ..but you should probably tell NOT to over dip it! * You could also change how it's presented by having different colors of the bar instead of how fast you fill up. But if you're catering for the younger audience, you can keep it this way! * The music changing is a very nice touch to refer to health. Something to consider for next time though for the deaf just in case... * Congratulations, you actually made me buy chocolate chip cookies and it was good~
Other than those what I said, what you guys made here is really good and it's such a pleasing delight to play with at all! Definitely the passion is there and a very fun take on the theme~!
It took me a while to understand what to do tbh.
After that it was really easy. Maybe too easy. After the 10th round it's very repetitive
What really stands out are the graphics. Very cute and the characters are just lovely. I liked the color palette and the expressions are ♥
I think it's a fun game for kids! I know a 6 year old who at the moment learns how to use a computer. I'll show his mom this game, maybe he'll have fun!

Very nice art style! The intro was very funny^^ I had trouble finding out how the game mechanics work. I pressed the buttons but somehow missed some of the cookies nonetheless.
The art is great and i like how the music change when you miss. Maybe a few lines of tutorials int the game would have helped.

Awesome art :cookie: :milk: An original and cute take on the theme. The music and the sounds were spot on, really aligned with the playful tone and mood of the game. I got 2 gameovers rather soon. I'm not sure whether I did something wrong or the game ended.

A short, sweet game! The art and music are definitely the game's strongest aspects-- they've both got a warm, wholesome feel to them. To kinda echo what a bunch of other people have said, it was a little hard to tell how to properly dip a cookie at first-- I initially thought the upper bar was the cookie bar, and I ended up losing after a few seconds. For the sake of clarity, I'd put a new message on the cookie bar once it's full to tell the player the cookie's done.

Very nice theme interpretation and cute art, good job! Also a big chocolate + cookie fan here, so I understand the pain of the cookie monster xD Maybe a suggestion for the gameplay: how about the cookie falling into the glass if you press the arrow key for too long?

Art and music/sounds are fantastic! Game idea/theme is awesome and hilarious!
The gameplay is where it stumbles a bit though. I played until I got bored, around score 50 or so (OK, I got bored before then, but thought 50 might be a "win the game" break point...). The worst part of the gameplay is that it requires you to keep your eyes glued to the arrow icon so you can't enjoy the rest of the great art on screen!
Even though that probably comes off complain-y, I loved the entry overall! Great work!

I love the cute artwork. Music is superb! The gameplay felt repetitive and I was confused on when to let the cookie go. I agree with other commenters that the cookie should fall in if left in for too long. Also, since I was focusing on the arrows in the bottom left of the screen I didn't see the cookies above the monster until the second playthrough. I can totally see you making storybook games where you play through the story! Also nice unique take on the theme! Overall enjoyed your piece. Hope to see more from you next jam/compo.
I like this idea! The hand-drawn graphics is adorable, I love it. Deeper and deeper showed in another cool way! Cool sounds! Intro is pretty funny! There is a lot of really good ideas in this game! I had a really nice time playing it! Congrats!! Now it's time to buy some cookies!!!
Very cool childish crayon-like style. It all was drawn and compiled with love for sure. Music is also brings happy and calm mood to the whole gameplay. Sometimes I failed to dip my cookie, so not sure whether I grasped full rules and mechanics. Stretching gummy is a super feature - reminds me of Jake the dog from AT with his super stretching powers.
