Nice background picture! But we think the concept just wasn't it
I had fun and the idea was nice. However, a little bit polish is missing. The player feedback when hitting or getting hit could be improved (bigger text, sound, camera shake?); And the attack of the player was little bit clunky. But overall it was nice! Good job.
Very nice game. I liked it as soon as I realized, that I don't need to place a block every time the timer hits. :) What a nice polish. A game, we will definitely go back to. And we are already hyped for the PostMortem in 1 1/2 years. 😝
Wow, this game has quite the atmosphere - very melancholic. For my taste sometimes a little too far between the story points, but this only underlined the sad atmosphere. Good job!

The end also left us a bit behind. Which was a shame, because you were just starting to really get into the relationship story. The music was pretty nice! We were also a little surprised at how long the story was, kudos!
I really like the graphics overall! Also sounds are nice. However, I would have needed an easy mode; for me the battles where too hard. I wasn't able to win any battle. :-D Maybe I should "git gud". An easy mode, where you see when you have to press would be great.
Nice short game with a cool theme. Good mood. The jumping sound is a little much.
We had trouble figuring out exactly how to control the gun's rotational movements. But the game was still playable and fun! (Obviously) we are a fan of robot protagonists and the science fiction setting was cool overall! As for the brevity of the game, we echo the other comments in that regard. Would have appreciated more content. :)
A lot of bugs makes it difficult to progress in a meaningful way. A very cool idea and nice graphics, though. :)
Nice idea with the side tunnels and the free roaming passages. Game could have used a bit more polish. And fighting as a core mechanic was sadly not so much fun, because only clicking enemies didn´t feel right.
Great artstyle! For a gamejam it looks phenomenal. The gameplay is a little bit repetitive. Otherwise nice little game!

For this game alone the humor category was invented! ;-) I had much fun with feeding the cats and the distraction mechanic is really some pro game play and funny to watch at. I like games where simple mechanics make such a difference.
@cottontshirtz We wanted to make the velocity zero out as a powerUp during the gameJam, but sadly had no time for that powerUp left. However, probably it should have been a standard feature! Thanks for the advise.

@martta About the fall damage, buying two shield upgrades helps a lot. However you are right, the damage without shields should have been toned done.
Yeah, the parachute is too expensive, you are right. The jetpack is even a better version of the parachute, so it makes sense to save for it. ^^

@itsonrandom Good idea - would probably help the player to know when to get to the shop. Disadvantage would be even more HUD elements distracting the player.

@wolfier The idea between the different styles between the ingame robot and the shop robot is the background story. The mine is in a dystopian world where the company behind the shop tries to look more approachable and innocent by using cute and friendly icons for advertisements. In contrast, the reallity is much darker and not as clean.
@pilarius Yeah, the fall damage at the start of the game without shields might be a too harsh. We added an advise to the Ludum Dare page now, to help other players. Thanks for your feedback.
The game is very polished and the graphics are good. It is a little bit slow and a power up to carry more stuff would help to make the game more funny - so it felt a little bit tedious.

We would have liked a bit more reward for the clicking game. :D Fun and beautiful game! We liked the music base, but it could have used a bit more variation. The implementation of the theme was, in our opinion, appropriate and exciting.
The game has a good mood and nice graphics. However, it is a little buggy and the third dream was to hard. I had not so much fun, sadly :-(
In the first and second dream you can through the door uptairs and jump out of the house.
The 2d pictures between the dreams were very nice! And the atmosphere is great
I liked the fast movement and simple gameplay. You really feel the danger because of the chasing enemies! Nice job!
Nice pixel art! Good game for your first game jam. However, the mechanic to wait for jump was a little bit exhausting - takes a lot of speed from the game. Still, keep up the good work.
The game has a nice idea and it is simple, but very polished! A little bit more variety would have increased the fun - maybe different ground types?
The artstyle is great. Especially character design is good and I was a little bit freaked out as I have seen the creepy face of the mirror version later :-D
For me the game was quite difficult, since because of the mirroring I messed up the controls a lot. ^^
