i found ur game funny but i really hated the mouse movement cause it moved the player i just would like to look around instead idk how others will feel about it too but other than that i liked ur game , i survived solo, i had like 20 seconds left and i liked that the music changed when the timer was closer to the ending , good job.

Hey @giangero, thanks for your comment. Yeah concerning camera there is two scenario commonly, forward is camera's forwards or player forwards, we chose camera's, but I'm glad you succeeded to beat the game. Thanks for the comment about music I composed it so it means a lot :)

This was super fun. Felt like it was inspired by 60 Seconds if it was open world. I loved the model of Randy and the world.

I really liked a lot of things about this game! Could really have used a little bit of polish. The camera movement is really jarring, but the player is funny and I love the concept. Some extra sound effects, like maybe when you pick stuff up would be great!

Thanks for your comments @rnrmoongoose & @illabom We lacked a bit of time for some part of the polish and your recommandations would definitely be on the list if it were to be polished :)

The only thing I would suggest is an end screen. I was very confused when after playing and running around for 7 minutes like a madman collecting stuff it just kind of ended. Very cool though and honestly it is really funny. Definitely one of the weirder ones I've seen this Jam. In a fun Goat Simulator kind of oddball way.

Hey @jfroggg, thanks for your comment. Yeah a death screen could have been good but with the timer reaching 0 and the explosion (although not quite clear if you don't face it) we thought it would be enough, that was a mistake ^^

@narom42 There was an explosion??!! Yeah I missed that big time haha I guess if I had seen that the end would have felt different. As is though still really cool! There's great bones in this one.

sort of lost track of what i was supposed to be doing in the game, but it was fun to run around the area and explore it!

Hello @miej, too bad you got lost. If it can help on the living room of the house you have a map of the world and what to do on the wall near exit. Have a good day
Nice game ! Liked the concept, and pretty fun ! The camera feels really sluggy at times though and kinda have a mind of its own, but a nice third person camera that follows the player like you've done can be really tricky to implement and finetune. Otherwise pretty good !
What a charismatic character! If you had putted some story - just a bit of what is on his mind - would be awesome!
The game is really fun, i loved the concept and the idea - i see a reference for a vault, maybe? haha. Loved it! It's extremelly cohesive from the begining. Great work on that!
The major problem is the camera - i know, 3rd Person camera could be a pain in the a...and i can imagine how much effort you put on this one.
But for a GameJam - unless you already have an optimized script for 3d cameras - i recommend you use a fixed camera or a first person. It could'd give you lots of time to work on the mechanics and polishment.
In overall, i really liked your game! Will be awaiting ansiously for an update 😀

Thanks for your feedback @lrvstudios. I know what you mean but we already had done FPS games so we wanted to experiment new things, that's what jams are for. The camera could be improved for sure with some time. It so dependent on user mouse sensitivity too that it's hard to find the right setting without playtesting. The game is compatible with controller and it is more playable because everything is normalized :)

The game camera was really difficult to control as it's really fast. If I don't like the gameplay (collect), I love the ambiance (with the heroic music). Good job for it

Randy lives a low-key life, but his mouse sensitivity is through the roof (and he can walk on water). Besides the mouse, the game performed well, and was definitely a creative take on the theme. I'm not sure if I started the drill too late, because I only had ~2s between the bunker opening and the apocalypse. Overall was fun!

Hey @sorlok, He might be the chosen one haha. Seriously, we did something to prevent him walking on water but it was not enough apparently, not too serious for a bug. The drill needs gas, so it might have run out while you were collecting stuff elsewhere. Mouse sensitivity is our real problem on this entry, sorry about that. Thanks for your comment.

Fun idea, clunky controls though... Made it quite hard for me.
Also, I didn't notice that I had to push the button on the drill  itself.. otherwise I should have gotten all

Thats not bad if you ask me... but this camera... it kills my player flow...Screenshot_8.png
