The game has an interesting idea, but I had no idea what to do. I saw the tasks, but I didn't know how to do it. The game seems to have a lot of depth, but I didnt't know how to access it. The game also wouldn've been nicer with a tiny bit of audio.
Looks great, got stuck on a lot of invisible geometry. Really like the intro!
Reminds me of Motherlode a lot. I liked the idea, alien invasion for taking all the hidden resources. Sadly, there isn't enough copper(?) to finish the first task, so most of the game isn't available, at least on my play through. The little alien guy looked hilarious though, and the ores(?) looked liked they belonged where they were. A good showing!
Lol, interesting theme. My character sometimes got stuck on the wall, maybe you should reconfigure the physics material of the character? And also there are too many resources to be collected for the forge, made me kind of frustrated somehow. Good work!

Pretty fun game, I really enjoy the tiny lines of dialogue that the hatched alien say, reminded me of terraria in some way the game is a bit confusing, some problems with the UI & lack of tutorial too, but still great !
I've had the same experience as the other commentors: not enough copper to finish the first mission, and no clear direction to go. Am I missing something?
Also had the sticky geometry bug.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback @pandalk @hassan-abouelela @lighty-the-light @yetrecalllaw @stejkrobot @thewhiterice!
I realize now that I have messed up the displayed cost of copper for the first building. It's actually meant to be 10!

I had some fun playing this. The collisions were a bit janky though which kept annoying me and the costs for the forge and the armoury were flipper which caused some confusion.

Interesting idea, but where am I supposed to get 40 copper to even build a forge? The resources in the dark ground are seemingly impossible to get, all I can get is the food (?). Directions on how to play this game would be very helpful.
This is super cool, love the resource gathering loop. I was already a fan of saving the Earth but now it must be saved FOR THE CHILDREN! Let's get these hatcheries full! Great job!
The aliens are really cute! I found the controls to be a little confusing. I didn't relize I had to be really close to mine. I thought it was on a cooldown and it felt inconsistent, might could be fixed by using the lazer to show the range of the mining even if you're not close enough.

Seemed neat but I couldn't afford to get the first building. Fun art, would have like some audio.
Nice art, I played it through to the end and I think this is an admirable job on a big game. Audio woulda really helped, but the chatter of the hatchlings was good fun.

Nice idea for a Jam! Thanks for writing the bug in of the mixed costs. An ambient sound would be very fitting. The cost of the portal felt a very too much. I had fun playing it. A lot of content for a Jam game. Good job!
The hatchlings are funny!!

I really liked the character designs guys. I definitely don't know how to beat it at all though. As others have said I just couldn't find enough copper to make any real progress.
Replayed the game based on the author's comment, and yeah, it seems the display for the forge and armory are switched. The forge requires 10, while the armory requires 40.
All in all, it was an alright game. It had a nice humorous twist, and didn't overstay it's welcome too long. The biggest issue with the game by far is the incorrect display for the build menu, but that's a bug not a design problem.
The game would have benefited from a few things. Like others have pointed out, some audio feedback for what you're doing would've been helpful. The game also became really repetitive towards the end, just digging down to collect some resources, trying to navigate back up with the weird sticky geometry, then repeating the process again for each of the materials. It falls into the trap of upgrades being the same exact gameplay with a different texture, in which case, I think you're better off just shortening the game. This wasn't too bad though because the entire game wasn't too long.
I don't have much else to say, but it was definitely a fun little game that could use some polish.
This was a pretty decent game, if there were no bugs from it and some background music to go along with it then it could become pretty good. It really needs some polish though to improve it, the idea is there though which is the main thing
Cool character, dialogue placed, a concept that feels kinda "terraria" with a creepy mood. I loved it!
The only and only thing that i missed was sounds, but despite that, i liked very much this game. Great work!

Cool game. I would recommend making resource requirements much lower so that people playing can quickly experience your content. The core mechanics are not developed far enough to make it for me to collect 40 resources before any new mechanic is added. Cool game.
