Deeper n' Dipper by GameDevExtreme 2021-04-28T22:56:43Z
Love this concept and the theme twist. Super cool art. Great job on the animations, like adding the balancing-on-the-edge animation, nice little detail there.
Great job!

That was a lot of fun, can't believe I almost got to the end and a stupid bat deflected my shot and killed me!
Amazingly good time. Love the graphics style and the simple yet FUN gameplay. The spells ricocheting off each other was great, that led to a few really bad ass moments as well as some comedic events (--shakes fist at that bat--).
Very impressive and well done!
Definitely one of the more unique experiences I've seen so far in LD48, beautiful concepts that would definitely make for a nice and relaxing puzzle game. Love the sounds and music and overall vibe. Beautiful work!
Now to go get more confetti...
"Go deeper..." "Impossible." "But it is...
Hilarious gameplay, though frustrating at time, I feel that's part of it. Like at the end I was going to win at all costs, I don't care if that makes me a crappy friend. I love purple guy though, he seems like a chill and reasonable dude.
Well done! That was a lot of fun and unexpectedly goofy.
This is super cool, love the resource gathering loop. I was already a fan of saving the Earth but now it must be saved FOR THE CHILDREN! Let's get these hatcheries full! Great job!
This game definitely sets a mood! Love seeing more narrative/music driven games. Mood is one of the trickiest things to nail but I think you set a pretty good one here. Art and music are both really well done, I think everything works to set a tone. I like the bits of humor mixed in with the horror. You got an audible chuckle and a jump scare from me during the course of playing so good job there!
Narrative wise I always appreciate stuff that's a little more open-ended and open for interpretation, so I really liked the paths you laid out. As I continued to play through multiple times to try to find different endings, it sorta gets in your head a bit which I think is the point!
Also I'm pretty sure I did have hands and not fins before playing this...
Well done!
Very fun game and super awesome concept! I loved it. The doll dudes are hilarious and wonky to work with, loved them. The spotlight level is super challenging but very fun with the time turn mechanic. When my little guy finally made it in just in time, awesome. What a great feeling.
Definitely back up the creator's recommendation about downloading the .exe, the time rewind goes pretty slow in the HTML version.
Fantastic job! Thanks for stopping by our page and giving our game a go. Based on your comment we patched in restarting at the level so it's easier to experience more of the game. Thanks for the feedback!
Sister needs to pick a new gift, Lava Cake zone is not messing around!
Fun game with a great soundtrack. One of those games where you can really get in the zone and go on a nice run and then suddenly a piece of chocolate destroys you 3 times in a row and you are gone. Yum.
Those monks and their wifi!
Amazing game, had me laughing and slightly creeped out by uncle the whole time. Sorta reminds me of this game Hellcab from the 1990's that creeped me out as a kid. Art style is fantastic and I really appreciated the work put into the radio stations.

I appreciated the silly party game nature of the conversation prompts while ALSO creating some pretty funny yet apt statements on life and existence. Uncle might be creepy but he asks the right type of questions.
Thank you such a unique game! One of my favorites so far.
Just spent a long time playing this (still playing but want to get my review down). Excellent gameplay, super fun! I like that you have different strategies to build your empire. I went for storage early on which paid off later when I hit HUGE on silver and stored them for a big pay day.
Gameplay loop is fun, the ore market feels alive, very cool. Agree with others that the pace is a bit slow. I'm on Day 8 and still grinding away. Also if the price of silver goes above 1000 it can sometimes shift the text down a line (web version).
Great game!
edit: assistant brings you sausages. 10/10
Edit 2: Beat it! I brought the silver industry to its knees and took over the world. I felt sorta bad at the end, here I am pulling all this precious silver from beneath the feet of these farmers but they are all just so thankful for my scraps they give me more money on top of it.

Great game! Thanks for the fun!
Strange and beautiful! I loved the mood of this from the get-go, I think the themes of depression and diving into the depths work very well together. The music and voice work was excellent! Very moody! Everything comes together well.
I agree with another comment about putting "The End" or something like that at the very end. I was staring at the blank black screen waiting for something to happen.
Great job overall!
Really cool atmosphere and feel here. I love going DEEP SPACE with the Deeper theme. I like how open it is, no goals but to explore and feel the mood. To me that adds that additional layer of DEEEPER. It is just you out in space with nothing but a ship and your thoughts....
I really liked the background stars, so simple but parallax makes it all beautiful.
Lastly, any chance to fly the Swordfish and visit Dune is a win in my book. Great job on the game!
Amazing! Really like the mix of gameplay, art style and DELICIOUS PIZZA. Seriously, who wouldn't enjoy a pizza planet?
Definitely had fun playing this one. Overcooked vibes but with less frustrations, haha. I like the dynamic of flying the ship out, there were a couple times I had to haul ass out of those pizza caves to make the last pizzas in time. Definitely made me laugh. That little edition of ship physics as you race back to the surface was a fun little twist.
This would be interesting as a multiplayer game where you are racing for ingredients and ramming each other out of the way.
Well done, team!
Super well done, love the atmosphere here and the contrast between this beautiful art style (great palette!) and this doomed ominous feel. Definitely matches the beauty and sometimes terror of the real natural world.
Music and sound design are amazing, definitely amplifies the mood here. I always appreciate the narrative-based games and especially ones like this that put a unique and strange twist onto the theme. Thanks for taking us down this dark little path (though I will choose to interpret a happy ending for our Little Mother).
Very nice game! I love the art for Glim and the art style overall. The gameplay is fun and challenging, though to me the jump felt a bit weird. I'd like to have a bit more control of Glim while he's jumping but that's also part of the challenge with timing your jumps.
Great job all around! Your team did great work creating a fun game that fits together nicely. Well done all!
The excitement of going from "I HAVE MORE BOMBS THAN I'LL EVER NEED" to "I NEED MORE BOMBS" in 3 seconds was astounding.
Great quick game, enjoyed the different enemy types. The air bubble as the health mechanic is a cool twist on it. My only suggestion is turn up the speed of play.
Brilliant! I like the mix of humor and horror near the end. Nice to see some great story driven stuff out there! Also the piano key sound when you pick up the MREs is SUPER SATISFYING!
Thanks for a great game!
Great job using less to do more. I really liked the mood of the game, especially with the audio and text. There was definitely a claustrophobic feeling as you sink down to the bottom and all these inner fears and thoughts race by you on the screen. It's funny I felt relieved when I hit the bottom but it turned out the journey back up to the surface was the scary part, haha.
The speargun feels underutilized so that is something to look at, but I think it's more important to establish a mood and a feel for your game and you certainly did that here.
Great job!
