I liked how you could tell the path of the bullet. controls felt good.

Good game, I thought the pacing felt just right. The repeating background track did get a bit irritating after a bit but it wasn't the end of the world.
lmao I didn't expect this. I'm a big fan of cringe humor. I was getting ptsd flashbacks to 13 yr old me posting that stuff on fb. The controls were a bit punishing I thought. Maybe give the player a bit of grace period after leaving the ledge to where they can still jump afterward. Anyway great job esp for a solo project.
felt very polished. loved the music. tutorial phase was just right. boss battles were pretty punishing which isn't my personal cup of tea but may work for others.
High score: 1700ish Love the retro theme. I appreciate that the game and controls were simple to learn. Tell me though is there some code in there that when I become a certain color, it makes it less likely that bubbles of that color appear? Because it felt like it ;)
ah yes the overworked retail/receiving employee simulator. excellent. fr though I enjoyed it, I laughed when the boxes just kept coming.
I couldn't get the "lie" or "truth" buttons to work, am I doing something wrong?
ok fish people were actually pretty scary though. I wish there was some way that you could keep track of how many valves you had left. like a number count or something on screen.
noticed a slight bug (no pun intended) when the game over screen appears. the flame thrower just goes off indefinetly. I enjoyed the game. it was fun.
Typewriter text would have benefitted greatly from a way to press a button and make it all apear at once. The sound got a bit monotonous and was a bit slow paced. I noticed a few clipping errors in the first swimming sequence. Other than that I enjoyed the plot twist and the story.
Link didn't work. What is the new link?
"nice", "so cool". good ol uncle fred lol
Liked it. The music was great.
Jumping and moving didn't feel natural. Like i would move and try to jump and the character wouldnt jump. I like the sense of humor in the game. On screen tutorials were good. the bruh cracked me up
I played this game for quite a bit. I like all the little details you put in like the physics for the books, different enemy types, and of course all the little potions. Music and controls felt good. I don't know if I just missed it but it would have been cool to have a visible health gauge.
Sorry man wasn't sure how to install what it said in the directions. Couldn't play.
I played all the way through. I don't know if it was intended to be but it felt very surreal (which is something I enjoy). I enjoyed the humor in the game as well and the different mechanics on each level. The sound loop was a bit annoying but the levels were short enough to where it wasn't a big deal. Maybe try adding on to the length of some of the songs and I think that would fix it up.
I think the character's jumping voice sound could have used some reverb to make it sound like it was in the environment it is in. I LOVED the background piano and the intro theme so props to Pietro (I'd like a copy of the songs if possible) @EthanThopkins on discord. The direction in the game was a bit unclear. At some parts I was questioning to myself like "am I doing the right thing?" but I still figured it out and got to the end so it didn't make it unplayable at all. Good job guys!
i'm not sure if I was playing wrong but it was as if the thrusters would only work if very particular places.
I can say I've honestly never played a game like this before. I thought the concept was pretty clever and the difficulty felt just right. It took me a bit to figure out the controls and the layering system (even though it was clearly written in the instructions. I do think the switching layers buttons might have felt a bit nicer if it was on the right side of the keyboard somewhere so you could have both hands working. Like maybe the right and left mouse button? Other than that nitpicky critque though I enjoyed your game. Thought it had great mood and sound too.
good job guys. nice simple game. took me a few tries but I eventually got it. The mood felt good, controls felt good. noticed a few collision issues in the kitchen with the oven and counter. Maybe missing some colliders? Music felt good as well.
my bro. how you get past the acid? I legit couldn't figure it out lmao
I may not have been sure what the hell was going on but it was very fun to play. The screenshake, recoil, and particles worked very well. The animation on the menu was appealing as well. I'm not sure if it was intentional but the jumping seemed to bring me further that I expected and it felt a bit awkard (like jumping and then going left or right).
music started clipping for me after level 3. other than that: simple, easy to pick up. tutorials done right.
Like some other's said I liked the graphics but the hit box was a bit too punishing.
@cireneikual222464 hey thanks for playing. it could have been but I'll be the first to admit that the sound system code is hanging together by a very thin thread lmao.
@diego-pontes thank you! was the sound just looping at a point that didn't flow or like was the balance out of wack or something else?
@benosuke yeah that's something I struggle with adding in interaction. I'm getting better though with every game! thanks for playing.
@peco I wanted to much to put choices in the game so much! I ran out of time though. Thanks for playing! :)
@gulcasa I was worried about that because resolution is something I just don't have a good grasp on yet tbh. I think that's what I'm gonna work on next.
@kaabiikaze thanks for the feedback!
@autogibbon Thanks, that is exactly what I was going for! I could've made that a bit more clear at the end I agree. For the record...it's up to interpretation lol. I imagine your player killing him
@systemeffect Thanks :)
@dane-tesla going to take that into account in my future games. It's something I never thought of until now. Thanks for playing
@eugenik Thank you!
@xpoho спасибо за игру и за отзывы. Я вижу, что многие люди говорят о скорости, поэтому я собираюсь изучить это в будущих играх.
@videt hearing that a lot. Definitely something I'm going to do on my next game
how do you get past the first enemy? couldn't figure it out. glad to see some horror games on here. my fav genre
@offworlddemon ohhh okay I'm so used to horror games not allowing you to fight back i just assumed. cool playing again now
@offworlddemon ok nice game. I like how you actually could leave if you wanted. i noticed a clipping glitch if you keep walking in the first stairs instead of pressing E. looks like you had it accounted for though because it would send me back the start if i did that.
what are you supposed to do in the first room?
simple and straight forward. It was a little unclear what the collision point was when one of the robbers (I think) disappeared when the policeman came near. Other than that I really liked the idea of being an ai.
