Game is super awesome and has a great hook! Loved the premise and use of the theme! A different button for the dash would go a long way to making you feel more in control of your movements in air! Overall a really great experience!
felt very polished. loved the music. tutorial phase was just right. boss battles were pretty punishing which isn't my personal cup of tea but may work for others.
Great game you guys made! There was only a few things I thought weren't perfect, the movement was slightly finicky and the camera in the non-zoomed out sections was slightly nauseating. Aside from that, the humour and gameplay were extremely fun and entertaining.
Great execution! Character writing is very charming. Maybe make restarting after dying faster, and checkpoints would be nice, but overall great work!
Really cute game, I liked the humor and the style. There's a lot of variety to the levels and I appreciate the skip button, because I found some of them to be a bit too challenging/frustrating to complete. I think there's a couple of things that stand out a bit though. Having to deal with the level restart + dialogue every time you die gets a bit frustrating, and also instantly dying for touching spikes or falling into pits (rather than just losing one life) can be a bit too unforgiving.
Still, I think the various hints around the game on how to approach challenges were absolutely peak game design, 10/10
Boss battles felt quite punishing. I think of the controls were a little tighter/responsive you would be able to dodge their attacks easier

I love how professional this game is. It legit feels like a "top page of Miniclip" kind of release. The music/sound design is great and the premise is hilarious. I particularly love that Satan is a sh*tty regular customer that would get pissy when the new guy doesn't know their usual order, for some reason I really loved that detail.
I, uh, might be *stupid*, though, because I couldn't figure out how to beat the harpy level. Like when I picked up the broken heart and it flew away, some hearts went across the bottom of the screen and I died? Like I may have died to a projectile and not realized it, but it still left me pretty confused.
This was a really fun take on the platforming genre. I loved the audio and the humour, and each level feels distinct and unique. As others have mentioned, air movements were sometimes a bit finnicky and a skip dialogue option would be greatly appreciated as the levels can take many multiple attempts to complete.
It started out really strong, love the look of it! The jumping threw me off a bit and when the fight happened I immediately got hit in both runs.
Very fun to play. The visuals, music and humor really sell it and I like the catchy name. I agree with a lot of the suggestions given here, to add to them: at some points you demand precise platforming from the player, however the jump you give them has no variable jump height, so a lot of the time you are hovering over the platform waiting to descend. If that's your intention, then great! Otherwise, I'd suggest tapering off the jump as soon as the player lets go off the spacebar.
Danggggg, that was a lot of fun. It took me a long time to beat lust, she just loved me to much. Music was awesome it fit so well with each level. Art was super nice too.

Great game. I liked the witty dialogue and interactions between the sins. The spikes level is frustrating to play because of it being insta kill while everything else in the game follows the 3 hit design. Other than that it was a good platformer with some interesting boss fights
Hard to say anything different that what has already been said. The bosses are hard and I like it. The graphics and sounds are great. I'd love for space to be jump but I assume that was a design decision. Great game!
Really liked the pixel art, The main thing that i think that needs to be improved is the player controller, but overall well done =D
Great polished game. Punishing at times but still very fun. Only grip is the hitboxes on spikes seem a tad to big. Well Done!

@seafishelle, I'm glad you liked it! I handled a lot of the writing so it makes me happy to hear that you found it amusing.
The hearts across the bottom are supposed to prevent you from just camping on the floor, and to make the fight a bit harder. We probably needed to do more difficulty playtesting, based on these comments lol. They appear after you damage the boss with one broken heart.

I'm glad you liked it. We probably should've scaled back the difficulty, but my sense of how hard the levels were was getting pretty biased after I'd been playtesting them for a while. I could've sworn we do have a variable jump height, but it could be pretty finnicky. Regardless, I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! It's nice to hear that you enjoyed it. The dialogue skip is something we definitely would've implemented if we'd had more time, because I think you're absolutely right! It ended up being somewhat of an oversight on our part, but oh well... Hopefully it wasn't too frustrating...?
Really well polished, the art and the soundtrack were amazing! My main issue is the dash being the same keys as the movement keys. I ended up having moments where I simply wanted to move but I triggered a dash and into my death.
Except the controls, that's a really nice game! Well done you did such a good job

This game was a ton of fun! but the controls were poor. Some levels I had to skip just due to being unable to get control of the character.
Such a charming game! The hilarious writing really uplifts the whole experience. I appreciate the polish and huge variety in game mechanics and visuals, that's a hard thing to pull off in a weekend! Excellent work.

The idea behind the game is so much fun. I loved how you guys implemented it with the story and the funny bosses. The last one remembered me of a boss from "The Messenger", one that I liked the most when playing that game. But for me, the most lovely aspects of this game are the sound effects and music. They are just on point. Congrats to all of the team!
Good work with theme. Loved music and graphic. But starting every level from beggining is little annoying. Mybe should use lives to return player before last jump or hiding place.

I wish the controls were a bit easier to handle, and also that the Jump could have been another button (spacebar, perhaps even as a redundant alternative). Movement felt to me be a tad too fast as well.
