Nice little mechanic that is well executed. Solid build up of difficulty throughout it. There was a graphical tearing issue just fyi.

Absolutely amazing work with the graphics and particle effects done in time for the compo. I'm sad you couldn't get audio in it, but I can 100% relate to that. I couldn't get it in time for the Jam  . Best of luck with your ranking! I wouldn't be surprised to see you in the top of the pack!!!
You've really created something amazing and unique here. The entire thing is a game jam masterpiece. The puzzles were terrific and you somehow made killing a dragon cute. Big congrats on creating something so well polished and new!
Polished and I love the two player/two brothers you get to control. The lighting definitely sets the mood. The only thing holding it back for me is the audio. I can't talk too much though. I didn't even get my audio working this Ludum Dare :grimacing:
The fact that you put this together for the compo is amazing. I tried to make a similar game with level generation, but yours is fantastic! There were a few interesting bugs with the menus. If you left the shop before closing the menu, then you'd be stuck with the menu open. Also I had the item selection open and died which didn't spawn the respawn menu and I ended up being invisible and invincible.
Great audio, humor and graphics. The double jump messed me up a bit, but I loved it overall. Great work. Happy LD48
Loved the theme you went with on this one. The cannon, drill and rocket were great tools. I wish the drill had a bit more drilling power to it, but I can also see the balance of just picking up two drills. Favorite part was the wind storms that would blow through. The level generation was also impressive.
Wow... I do not know how you could do so much in so little. You're an inspiration.
Super cool tech demo! I would love to do some motion capture one day after playing around with this. To tackle this in a jam is incredibly impressive and you should be really proud of yourself. If you decide to play with motion capture more, I'd suggest making the attack animation quicker. Keep up the great work.
You all did amazing on this. The music and the art are fantastic. Game feel was nailed in this one. I think the cost of the auto clicker is a bit high, but it's pretty hard to balance things out in a game jam. Congrats on making a great game!
Holy crap that was good. To knock all that out in such a short amount of time. Love the transitions and all the different mini-games. Congrats!
Loved the parallax effect you managed to pull off. The audio and art work well together to help set the mood of the game. There does seem to be a few bugs in the game. The one I noticed the most was not being able to pick up items every once and a while. Wasn't too sure how to replicate. Maybe a hitbox issue?
Either way it is an amazing game. Congrats!!!!
Great and hilarious game. The pixel art is superb. I do wish there was some form of score system and a little more variety. Congrats on a terrific Compo game!!!
Super funny game mi amigo. I never knew I could write sup deep poetry. You have inspired me to be more humorous and unique in future Ludum Dares
Amazing amount of work you got done in such a short amount of time. I love the falling and sliding mechanic. The fall speed was a bit too fast for me... I could also just suck at this game though lol.
There is nothing funnier to me than puns around unending debt. Thank you for coming up with this interpretation of deeper and deeper. I think the gameplay is unique and impressive for knocking all this out in the compo.
I'm going to join everyone else here and say that this was amazing. I love everything you were able to do in such a short amount of time. The particles and lighting set the mood perfectly. I wish there were a few more checkpoints in between certain areas, but it's such a small nitpick for an game that is near perfection for a jam. Happy LD 48! You did incredible work.
Great work! It would have been nice to have a final score pop up when you die, but solid job. Happy LD48.
Man my eyes are bugging out after that one. I love the idea of deeper sleep makes the guy go faster. Rag dolling is also pretty cool. Title screen is pure fire!!! Although my eyes were bugging out, I think it's cool you created a game that gives my eyesight guitar hero used to. Keep up the good work!
I played the entire thing. I couldn't stop. "The ovary is not impressed"... Story of my life.
Congrats on making an amazing and well polished game! I can't believe this is a Compo game. You truly know how to impress the ovary.
