Very interesting grapple mechanic! I did get frustrated with some of the later sections, but I didn't expect to see such a cinematic and practically hypnotic ending sequence. Well done!

Fun little game! I like seeing numbers go up lol. I thought I was pretty overpowered by the end but the Beholder got close to finishing me. Art style looks really nice too! Well done!
High score 20760. I love rhythm games. The triplets felt off time to me but I had a good time playing it nonetheless. Nicely done!
Very funny! I had a great time playing this one and just playing through as many options as I could. Some of them surprised me with how you made them funny too! Well done!
You should probably zip all your game data together as one file. As it is, I wasn't able to figure out how to download and arrange all the necessary files myself. I'd love to try it though!
Nice job! It's pretty slow going, but that's pretty true to real world fishing lol. Would have liked to see it expanded. Well done!
Very interesting mood and visuals. I loved the lighting elements. Couldn't finish as it got way too fast towards the end and the momentum when turning is pretty tight. The lure plant monsters are nearly always instant death for one mistake too. Very beautiful game! Well done!
Fun dungeon run! The art style is really nice with the hand drawn images. I really liked the audio too. I feel like it probably could have done with some checkpoints because when I died on the boss I just didn't really have it in me to go all the way back through again. Nicely done overall!
Definitely good for a good chuckle. The voice acting too lol. Pretty simple and random all around, but it was nice all the same. Well done!
Wish I could see the effect. I'm not really able to get close enough to the screen with my monitor setup. Very cool and clever idea though! Very unique! Good job!
Loved the sound design! Ran into an odd situation where many of the obstacles I deflected lost momentum and just hung out around the edges of the screen but I just had to nudge them again lol. Very well designed! Had a good time! Well done!
I love this style of humor! I spent more time watching the news overlays change then fighting off the treacherous drillers more often than not. The one note I have is that when I initially started, the Kraken covered up parts of the controls tutorial so I had to wiggle around for a bit to read them all. Outside of that, good fun! Well done!
This is probably my favorite game of the Jam thus far. You managed to interpret the "deeper and deeper" theme in a depth of emotion way without feeling too gamey or contrived. This resonated with me a lot. Especially the end. I did not expect to get this kind of emotion from a 48 hour game jam game but here we are. Congratulations and well done!
Didn't load for me either. I'd be happy to try it again once it's fixed!
Fun little game! Controlling the sub wasn't easy but I think that was mostly intentional. In particular I always associate CTRL with down in most games Lol. I played through a few times and never found a vent though. Also got a good chuckle out of the quip at the end.
@weirdybeardyman Interesting. I think for me it comes from games like Skyrim where CTRL is crouch. Or even bigger is Subnautica where CTRL is descend.
Fun and silly little game. The hypnosis bit was funny but felt really long and tedious after the first couple times. Police sound effect was really funny. Nice job!
Haha nice and spooky. I died too many times because my reflexes suffer in spooky environments. A fun time nonetheless though. Well done!
Very goofy and fun. Very flappy bird type controls. The hourglass effects were pretty fun but they killed me every time lol. Nicely done!
Fun game! I love sci fi stuff like this. Some suggestions would be that the asteroids feel like they should be destructible (although maybe they are and I'm just bad lol but I never seemed to destroy one.) It's also tricky to tell when a target is in range with the perspective. There were many times I could see the enemy but still couldn't quite hit them. Still had a good time piloting your well designed starship! Well done!
I always really get into when games use a computer UI as part of their game. It's just really immersive to me. This is a fun idea! Would like to see it expanded!
This was way fun! The puzzles had a very nice flow to them and were well thought out. Wish there was more!
Interesting idea. I think it would have been more interesting if there was actually text and maybe a through story instead of randomly generated choices, but that is probably asking too much for a game jam haha. It's a very interesting set of mechanics though and I'd really like to see it expanded further. Nice job!
I played this game way longer than I should have haha. This type of gameplay loop really sucks me in. Overall rather simple, but I would personally play an expanded version of this game for hours. I just like seeing numbers get bigger lol.
Very clever and funny interpretation of the theme! It had very simple gameplay but reminded me of the WarioWare rapid games. I can tell you had fun making this one. Nice job!
The dash based movement and combat was a little clunky at times, but I can see being really fun with just a bit of polish. I loved the art style a lot. I wish I had that kinda talent in that field. One note for future would be to tone down the level rotation effect. It was a bit disorienting at times and hard to tell exactly where I was because the level would rotate on changed direction. But overall well done!
Very funny game! One thing I found is that the character moves faster when he's moving diagonal. I also would have liked WASD controls. Well done on the art and comedy! It was a fun time!
For such a simple art style, I actually found the game very pretty. Good feelings all around and it made a lot more sense after reading the entire description. The only constructive thing I can think of to say is that the game might benefit with a longer timer. This type of abstract game benefits a lot from the player drawing their own conclusions and that might be easier to do if they had more time to play around and experiment. Great job!
Wow! This is very well done! The visuals and sound really nailed it and the gameplay is exceptionally well polished! Excellent job! Hard to believe this was made in 48 hours!
Fun little platformer! The music in this was top notch! I really got that cartoony fun vibe listening. The platformer controls were tight too. I've never been a big fan of click to aim melee attacks but it wasn't too bad here. One thing though, when designing platformers, I always get frustrated when I can't see the next platform I'm trying to jump too, and there were a bunch of times when descending where I had to jump down into a pit and trust I wouldn't land on spikes (which I did a couple times). Other than that, well done! It really seems you have a good grasp on game feel which is so important in platformers.
Very smooth gameplay! The audio and visual feedback felt really satisfying! Great work!
Interesting idea of using multiple different game mechanics. All of them worked pretty well too, although the first one started to cause my eyes to strain they were moving so fast lol. Nicely done!
This game comes across as very expressive and personal. I really liked the grainy effect applied to the screen. It added a sort of mystical, otherworldly vibe. I was really hoping for a revelation, or some sort of happy ending, so it ended kind of abruptly for me. But perhaps, since quick redemptions and life changes aren't really true to life, it's kind of appropriate. Well done and congrats on completing!
Fun little game. Character moves really fast and it's pretty easy to end up in a hole you have to bomb yourself in. Still worth a play. Nicely done!
I got a bug a few times where I could occupy the same space as a push block by using the undo function. I also couldn't figure out how the portals would work. Fun design idea though!
Very interesting concept! Especially with the phone controls. Really emphasizes the feeling of remotely controlling something. First time playing a died immediately on entering the first portal cause I spawned right next to an enemy so maybe some tweaking still needs to be done. But very clever nonetheless!
This was definitely good for a nice chuckle. My reflexes might not be very fast, but I thought the timer was a touch restrictive. The jump also felt a lot heavier than I'm used to and I kept falling into fire. But maybe I'm just not very good.
Very nice feeling game. The controls felt fluid and responsive. Excellent color choices too. The only critique I had is that in one of the very early levels there was a section where I built up a bit of momentum and thought I had a bit of space under a stationary wall of mines but I ran into one that was covered by the seaweed decorations. It's a minor gripe but it felt unfair at the time that the obstacle was covered. But other than that it was nice to just kinda bop my head to the chill music and zone out to the smooth gameplay. Well done!
@judgezedd That was definitely the point! Haha. Yea I realize the gameplay isn't the most intuitive. I'm really glad I put the How-To in as well. Although I probably should have made it more prominent on the title screen so more people would think to click it first. Thanks for the feedback!
@goutye @rhys-vdw Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely should have had an audio cue for the boss timer, but I didn't think about it until it was too late. Glad you had fun!
@thegreenworm Haha I guess I should have explained better. You actually can't "win" at all! There is only the one level and the challenge is ultimately about lasting as long as you can. You can think of the "total borrowed" at the end as a high score of sorts. Thanks for what you said on the death screens I had fun recording those xD
@loginaut Oh interesting idea! I definitely wanted it to feel really hectic but I hadn't thought about the shark just taking cash on his own. It would keep the mechanic and pressure of the shark while not dividing attention too much. Probably would have helped a few people lol. Thanks for the feedback!
Edit: Glad you liked the shark too! I had a lot of fun recording his lines!
Fascinating and well done! I expected something sillier from the title and description, but this was really sweet and emotive. Very poetic truly. I could tell this was a personal piece. Well done!
Very interesting and unique idea! It really makes me what other sorts of games can benefit from having this type of sound based mechanics. Well done on a fun entry!
Very unique and innovative! Took me too long to realize that fires I left off the chain go out. It was sometimes a bit hard to navigate and tell where I was. But I would love to see this expanded! Well done!
Definitely interesting and artful design went into this one. I couldn't really figure out what I was supposed to be doing though. All of the little hints didn't really seem to indicate a connection, just a general broad incident where someone was killed? I listened for audio cues but couldn't pick up anything there either. Loved the style, visuals, and effects though!
Nice little game. I've never been much a fan of move mouse to move but it worked ok here. Also the enemies at the beginning have a too high rate of fire. It's almost impossible to beat them without taking damage yourself. Art and effects look really nice! Well done!
Yikes! This game made me uncomfortable! At least it was over quick and easy lol. Definitely worth a good chuckle! Very funny interpretation of the theme too!
