Certainly the most unique entry I've played so far. It's a really cool concept
After a frustrating minute, I also learned that I've had my headphones on backwards since I got them

Wow! That was awesome! I feel like the rock sounds were not quite distinct enough to be super useful and I struggled to gauge turning speed. Maybe if you could instead throw a rock in the four cardinal directions with the arrow keys or something? That way you could get a better 360 degree understanding of your surroundings. Regardless, this was a super unique and interesting idea. Great Job!
@dirkinz That’s a really cool idea! I’ve been trying to think of ways to give players a stronger sense of their surroundings, but giving them the ability to throw a rock sideways never occurred to me
I like the uniqueness of it, I'm thinking of doing a game based just on sounds for quite some time, so it's always cool to see others' ideas. I like the quality of the sounds, everything is so clear and well done but the gameplay is not my cup of tea, too slow for me, overall really nice game.

@dninosores 👍 Your game reminded me a lot of [Scanner Sombre](https://store.steampowered.com/app/475190/Scanner_Sombre/) which had a sort of pulse you could send out in all directions. That works for a visual game but its harder with sound (unless of course it was a dolphin or a bat playing it perhaps). That lead to the ring of rocks (or directional rocks at least).

Really love the idea and great execution, the sounds were great! I agree with dirkinz that I wasn't quite sure if the rocks were helping me, but it never got frustrating anways.
Very interesting and unique idea! It really makes me what other sorts of games can benefit from having this type of sound based mechanics. Well done on a fun entry!
What a refreshing jam game!! This was really cool and really well executed. The rocks honestly didn't feel as helpful to me as the whispering did, but they were a good supplement to it. I also really enjoyed the writing!! Great job!
I have sound canceling headphones so I literally felt like I was in a cave. I greatly appreciated the ghost recognizing that he had a "creepy voice." Helped defuse an otherwise unsettling vibe. Very clever game! There's actually one in the B&W Jam right now that uses a similar mechanic called Audio Runner. Kind of cool to see multiple devs thought to use a mechanic that entirely removed visuals for two totally different themes. https://mastro2k.itch.io/audio-runner
i love the concept, but i think the guy abandoned me at some point after the "rock in the middle" room. i found my way to some water, but couldn't figure out how to go from there, and didn't get any more hints.
also, i wasn't sure if all the whispering was his voice, or like, scary demons around me. was i supposed to go towards or away from the whispers?
I have been wanting to make a game about blind ever since I saw my first Zatoicihi film. This is a solid blueprint you have cooked up for something that is heavily narrative-driven.
Honestly, that was one of the most trippy and refreshhing experiences I've had! Really awsesome!

Awwww! I was expecting a jump scare or something at the end when it tells me "It should be nice to see again." I was like "here comes the revelation that Casper has grown now into an adult but death has not been kind to him." lol I've been wanting to play around with an idea like this and I like your take on it.
I did get confused when I started to follow the voice because I thought there was a "sweet spot" where the ghosts says "Here we go" like at the start when we move the mouse around but I think that's just part of the random loop of voice clips play. I'm pretty sure I heard some japanese in there too. :D Excellent mood setting!

I really like this great gameplay concept and that it reacts to different stuff the user does! Such a different approach. It's very well made. Great game!

When I read the description I expected a Nightjar or Papa Sangre like experience. I quite enjoyed those but felt that their movement scheme, while unique, was too constrictive. Being able to move around with the same fidelity that I am used to in other FPS games really drives up the immersion!
The sound effects and vo were great, even the comically bloopy walking through water sound. Something that could help in this kind of game is a number of static ambient audio sources to help orient the player. It's not super necessary in this one since your goal is always making sound but if you get too far away then you're in trouble! The sound of scraping/bumping into walls was a very helpful touch though.
Great entry all in all. I'd love to play a version of this with more content!
I liked it a lot! I've played audio-only games before but found them difficult to orient myself whatsoever. Not sure exactly how you managed it but I made my way through this one successfully. :)
Lots of little nice touches with the different types of sound & different results when throwing rocks. I'd play more of this if it were longer!
Playing your game made me realize how much it's difficult to loose a sense. really nice job!
