Really cute and appealing style! I loved the atmospere and I like the way you hhave to combine keys to accelerate!
Really nice concept and gameplay! I like the idea that giant centipedes will come occasionaly and bite your tail off! Possible idea could be making the worm move in beat to the music! Game gives a Crypt of the Necrodancer vibes!
This game is wild! Really stupidly unique and humourous and I love your take on it! However I think i did glitch out the game where my character stopped moving when i pressed space and the sheep continued to move up but the background and character didnt move :( But overall still really awesome!
Very very "interesting" take on the game! Really enjoyed the puzzles and maybe its just me but I got hooked to the stretching sound of the strings!
Really like the experience you were trying to portray and the feedback and the art was phenomenal! I think that it was a bit tough trying to get over enemies sometimes as I personally felt that I did not have much room for mastery, probably due to a slighht lack of player agency. ORRR maybe im just terribly bad. Overall the execution and the thheme was really good. Heavily enjoyed being able to see the next level everytime.
Really really liked the humour in this game! Very immersive experience! You've got a talent in voice acting for sure!
Really well done! Really enjoyed this entry! Especially impressed with how the water shader was done! Overall thanks for the experience! It was really good
Amazing Art style and UI Work, I love the idea of delving deeper in the ocean and the game design being like a roguelike where you keep coming back! I do feel some additional guidance on the gameplay mechanics would help greatly :) Overall great job
Very amazing idea, I thought it was just going deeper and deeper in the cave until I realised that youre plunging your sword deeper into the dragon as well! That really got me! Well done!
OKAY I came back to comment, that I just realised, that the dragon's name LONG, also refers to the sword getting longer everytime you respawn, AND LONG or 龙 in Chinese means DRAGON, just another reason why this game is brilliant.
Really nice management game in third person! Very interesting take on the genre! Only gripe is when I first launched the webgl it was so pitch black (I think I was facing thee wrong dierction) that i thought the game hadnt even launchhed and it was broken. It was until I caught a glimpse of something green that I realised it was just really really dark. But at least the lights turned on after finding the computer desk modules :D
I'll be honest, I've seen a lot of games similar to this, as in digging down then going back up and repeating, but yours is the first one i genuinely kept replaying! I think I was really charmed by the way you had to do minigames to unlock the cats, its not just a "rapid dash" to the ores or gemstones like many others! Also the idea of having to go back up to restore light was really cool.
ALso theres something about an elevator mechanic!? Think I missed it, I was literally digging straight down half the time. But overall, great work, I love cats too :D
Really really charming game! I loveee the mood and the concept! Personally feel that if would be great to have more control when stopping at floors! Overall still good work!
Really cute art and making it coop is super unique! Great entry :)
Really nice little game, thank you for this! :) Honestly really really impressed with how you did the physics for the monsters, I only wish the gun could be fired more. :P But overall, solid entry, amazing mood and atmospheree!
Hi! I really love these kind of mystery narrative adventures, and I like how the scrappy sketchy artstyle fits the atmosphere of the game! Really good and clean entry overall! :D
Great juice for the game, it felt great and the aesthetics were awesome :) Good job!
Nice little bullet hell game, well done :) Great art, great gameplay, and just a solid jam entry. One thing to help is possibly some UI for health. Overall, really cool
Hi there! I would like to say that I really like the concept that you went for! Didnt realize Thaum-OS was a wordplay of Thanos until 5 minutes in! I think the game was great however I do personally feel a little bit more handholding would help signfiicantly! I wasn't sure what to do sometimes! Overall still really love how you guys managed to execute a full fledged mystery story in 3 days! I also really like Retro Artstyles so I may be abit biased on that!
Really really interesting idea! It was really cute and fun! Who wouldve thought to do deep as in deeper voice! Fantastic work! :)
Really fun game, interesting concept and I especially like the mood created!
Really cute game! I especially like the FINLANDO opening intro aahhaha gave me a chuckle! Overall just a decently executed experience, thank you for it :)
Really cute game! I love the art and I think the concept is brilliant! At first was a bit challenging, but it got really good quickly as well! :) Overall solid entry
Really cute game! Surprised to see you guys changed idea halfway through developing, because I chanced upon some art Noa posted at the start of the jam! but Going Down in Fishstory turned out really fantastic as well! It felt juicy to smash into those rock walls and small fish, and I genuinely have to praise the voice acting and storytelling. Simple and straightforward, enough player motivation for me to want to reach to the end no matter what :) The art is great as well, just overall a really solid entry!
I really liked the mood that you created and the overall atmosphere of the experience! Personally I felt one level seemed really enough for the jam, but you went ahead and made so many! Thats really impressive! The only gripe I have is not knowing where to go! Maybe a minimap, or if yall wanted to dive deep (hehe) into the immersion, could go for a mystery narrative vibe like why u keep getting lost, could make for a nice ending to finally break free of the dungeon, just needed a direction as a player. Overall still great work! :D
Really cute little game! I like the overall feel and premise of the game, I do feel that having to climb back up thhe stairs might be abit tedious but fantastic still :D
A narrative mystery text based game in a short game jam is really amazing. Really love the work you put into this game, it was awesome!
Great entry! Music was a little bit loud haha, but the game is rather polished, and the humor in this is fantastic! Thank you for this wonderful game :)
The game felt really awesome and I was terrible impressed with how many features and gameplay you guys squeezed in such a short time! You had the sliding experience, the vertical platforming, the combat, and the cutting! It was really amazing so kudos to you!
Really liked the game overall! I like the concept and the execution of the narrative, it felt really intersting, and the game is really thematically fitting. The planet gravity thing was kinda fun, felt like it was quaint little low gravity playground, although abit more deliberate and visual control would do wonders, like thhe ability to boost in a direction was not really clear visually, and refuelling fuel was hard as it required u constantly be connected to the planet, instead of simply just not be moving. Lastly I felt the ending of the game was really cute and rewarding!!
Really like the 3D style youre going for! The underwater current might be abit strong though It sometimes feels a little punishing, although I know youre supposed to upgrade your ship. A bit of extra movement speed would make it really fun :). But overall a really solid jam entry! Loveit!
Short but cute little entry, I loved it! :) Great atmosphere! Overall really fun!
Really quaint little game, absolutely love the swimming animation! :D A little bit too much empty space as what people mentioned, but overall still great job! Don't be concerned about the feedback, you did great work for such a short amount of time :)
The game was really cool! I liked the tense dark atmosphere! I got to 2070m! Love it overall! Great work!
Hi there! Dont worry about not finishing it, regarding the performance I believe it might be due to high resolution textures? I noticed the rocks were really HD looking? Could possibly be the reason! I watched your video presentation! HOnestly i like the look of of the game and how the ground chips away, so kudos for that! Good luck! :)
I really like the way you did the neon lights underwater! It was such a unique and trippy experience! :D Great job overall! Gameplay wise I was exceptionally impressed with the physics of the anchor! However I was experiencing some lag in the webGL mmight be because of the immense number of lights tho! Overall really good~
Okay, real talk, correct me if im wrong, but if you did your 3d using 2d tiles that way its really ingenious. But apart from that, the mood of the game is really great, it felt very mysterious and ominous. The audio is good but i had to turn down my volume because it was a bit too loud. Lastly the enemies are way too fast. D: The anglerfish end up hugging the submarine almost all thhe time.
Thank you so much for this short little experience! Simple concept but works well! Brings me back a little to happy wheels days :) Well Done!
Really really interesting art style! I love the idea and concept! Overall a really cute and solid entry, albeit a little hard at the start :P. Thank you for letting me play this!
I really like the roguelike aspect of thhe design, really rewarding when you respawn and get to replenish your resources from the bodies of your old self :P Overall a really good game! Love it
Hi! I really enjoyed the game! Despite the lack of way to quit the app! Overall, I find the core loop of the game relatively engaging! Initially I thought it was just a race against time digging downwards, until I realised that every action matters because the resource only went down if u dug. Along with not being able to dig back upwards, there was a good sense of player autonomy and meaningful decisions playing this game, which I enjoyed! Could be interesting to have another obstacle for the protagonist if youre looking to expand! Maybe a Digsite owner or a boss who demands a little bit in taxes every time you go down, so players have a stake at hand to have to consider and really have to plan their actions!
Really amazing art and mood! I enjoyed the entire experience and it felt really cute! I like the theme you went with of delving deeper into the subconscious and being in an elevator! I only wish you guys had time to add a little bit more audio cues for the bullets! Also felt the firing could be better if it was multidirection! Overall really impressed, the little minions really got me hooked
Really nice art and music! I love the overall visuals of it! However theres a bug with the dialogue, when I try to enter thhe lift and it says keycard needed, I cant leave dialogue mode :( But I really do like the thheme and concept still! Great work :D
Really nice game! I like the look of the little guy falling :D Overall great work!
Really nice little game, I liked having to chase those dang ores around, it was very cute :) Well done!
It was such a great experience, the intro sequence really made me laugh, and I like the fact that when u die you have a little rescue spacecraft so its still consistent and you don't feel like you lose progress. Really nice gameplay and execution! Kudos! :D
Really like the idea of not knowing what to expect before jumping down, but sometimes having to wait for a long might have been a little frustrating. Apart from that the mood and the art is really fantastic. Great work and clean execution! :)
Really cute little game! I liked the gradually growing satisfaction when I jump out of the water and go "Thats it, thats the one" before I destroy the helicopters :P. I do feel the game would work alot better with a bit more air control! Overall really awesome entry!
Really nice little game! I like the theme and the mood that you're going for! Most of the feedback I wanna give has already been mentioned above and you've commented on it already! Mostly its the lack of audio but I understand it was a lack of time! Still really good work though!
A simple, clean and solid entry! Love it overall! :D
Really nice art, and Im really impressed by the scope of the entire project, with the different types of sheep! Great work!
Thhe audio is really good and the mood is set well. I liked learning about the deep sea creatures alot! Im not sure why I got eaten at the end but it was fun overall! :D
Great game! I dont see anyone else mentioning this but the background music kinda just went poof and disappeared on me! Overall really like the theme and mood, would love more feedback on the game! I think it would really hhelp immerse the player in the atmostphere more! :D great work!
@wallkysek Balancing may be abit of a stretch, rules say that debugging is okay but adding features is not, as long as u add a changelog to ensure fairness. If the balance doesnt make the game unplayable, then i would say maybe not? :( Honestly the game is still fine so no worires about it! :D
Dont be too hard on yourself :) I thhink your game is very adorable and quite entertaining already! Great work overall, took me awhile but I got to the end! [Picture1.png](///raw/412/b3/z/41266.png)
Honestly, that was one of the most trippy and refreshhing experiences I've had! Really awsesome!
Really like the game! Was especially impressed with the art and how nice 3D models you could make in such a shhort time! Beautiful entry!
Hi! I really like the games concept! The scrolling wheel light mechanic is really something that surprised my because I've never really seen that before! The idea really got me hooked when I realised I had to shine the light over obstacles! However I do feel that the time taken for the plants to grow back can be longer! If you ever wanted to expand on the mechanics, perhaps having casted things cast shadows to do xxx things could be a cool way to add dynamics! Great work overall!
Thanks guys! There seems to be some issues with the lagginess which is strange, looking to patch it up soon!
Hello everyone! Thanks for giving such nice and constructive feedback. As much as I didn't want to make any edits due to fairness, I felt that too many people were not having a good experience due to the controls not being tight, hence I did a little bit of tweaking to make the control and movespeed more responsive, in order to ensure that others don't have a tough time, and lose out on the player experience I wanted to drive. It was really mostly an issue with Unity Physics, it works fine in the editor but turns out clunkier in the build. :/. Anyway, thank you all! :)
@kovalok Thank you for the feedback! :) I didnt realise how hard it was to control the character as I got too used to it as I was developing alone XD Maybe next time I should give myself some extra time for player feedback!
@tengusheath Thanks for trying out the game! Yea many ppl have commented that the game runs laggy, guess its just because I used a bunch of particles and post processing :/ I didnt know because I was testing it alone
@arbe Thanks for such constructive feedback! regarding the lag, a lot of people have mentioned about it but I have no idea how to fix it, because the build version was the first one I uploaded and people also commented about the lag *shrugs*. :(
Also thanks for your feedback on the ladders as well, many people have talked about the controls, I only wish I spent more time gathering feedback from playtests prior to submission, turns out I got really used to the game while developing it and never saw these things as a problem, which was my mistake!
Overall, thanks for trying it out and for your constructive words :)
@ondy1985 Thanks for trying the game! :) Yea you definitely can climb the ladder while in the air, I think I just got so used to it as I didnt have anybody to playtest for me, definitely will cater some time for playtesting in future jams, once again thhank you so much! :D
@geo3d Ah thanks for highlighting the menu issues! If I ever continnue polishing this game post jam I'll be bound to fix it! Yeap, similar to others, some people have mentioned that 'laddering' was too hard, I only wish I spent sometime to get others to playtest it before submission! Once again thanks for your kind and constructive feedback :)
@doctortm @alina-baybulatova @arguablyarugula @lithia-studios @carpaccino @norris-eldridge @mog13 Thank you so much guys for the kind words and support! :) I appreciate it! Also yess apologies if the game ended up becoming a little frustrating due to the controls, next time for sure I will cater some additional time for playtesting!
@simonbw Hi there! Im deeply sorry that the game did not run for you! Honestly unsure how this could happen, and im also not experienced enough to debug this, so I literally have no clue how to fix it haha! But theres an extra download link for the build itself to be downloaded if you still are interested :)
@kapa6uh Thank you so much for trying out the game! Appreciate the kind words! I was trying to go for an idea of putting the babies into a deeper and deeper sleep, like sending them to bed... but I guess it kind of is a little bit of a stretch haha XD could most definitely have tweaked the idea to fit the deeper and deeper theme more
@hcs-hades Thank you so much for trying out the game! :) I think generally, the feedback for controls got better after I fixed the physics discrepancies between the build and the editor! But most people have gripes about the handling of the character which is something I cant fix due to fairness :P but once again thank you for the kind words
@duck-reaction Thank you for trying the game, and your kind words :)
@boclow thank you for your kind words and thhanks for trying out the game! :) Sadly I was numb to the controls after developing it for so long and I had no way to know how others feel about it. Turns out its frustratingly hard :p
@videt Thank you so much! :D Im glad that you enjoyed it!
@qyoneda Thank you so much for trying out the game :) Truly appreciate it!
@re-lo Thank you for trying the game! :) Yea the controls are mainly the complaints haaha! I shouldve spent more time playtesting
@alexascher Thank you so much! Im glad you finished it :D Appreciate your kind words
@judgeclark Haha second comment I got about that :) Unintentional I swear! Thanks for playing the game!
@darkshadow Thank you so much for your kind words! Not gonna lie, even I get sick of the crying! Probably shouldve toned that down haha! Regarding fiddly controls, I only wish I spent more time getting player feedback haha :') but thats for next time
@raphiell Thank you so much for trying the game! Truly appreciate the kind words !
@dninosores Honestly! Thank you so much for these kind words! It means alot to me! :)
@dninosores Oh and I checked your profile I just realised you made Follow My Voice! :D I thought that it was one of the most unique and engaging games in the jam, great job on your entry too!
I like the story, really cool concept and the staging of the game drew me in immediately! however I do feel that the static noises for the sounds chasing you were a little bit jarring! Overall really nice!
Really have to praise you on the animations! The character was so adorable and the idea of delving deeper and deeper into the belly of the worm was pretty smart :) Welldone!
Really adorable little game! Its very satisfying to see the roots slowly grow outwards! :D Great work!
Really adorable little game! I like the concept and the clean pixel art execution! :D Great work!
Love thhe grim mood and atmosphere you were going for, it was an awesome entry :) Could use a bit more polish but thats fine because clearly its just a jam submission. Overall amazing work!
Very nice quaint little game, but the thruster fuel runs out a bit too quick! I like how u have to rotate and boost yourself. Music is great too :) very nice work
Really pretty little shader work and I like the concept of opening traps to kill aliens! Personally think thhat thhe art is beautiful and really well done :) Regarding the levels, I feel like whenever you miss an alien, you sould straight away progress to the next depth level. Currently theres no indicator of failure! D: Overall really cute! :)
Great visuals! Simple and unique concept! Thank you for this entry :) Loved it.
