enjoyed playing, love the artwork!!

The art part of the game is solid 5, nice work!

Very cool game! The atmosphere is really nice, and the mechanic of dragging inside the line for the scanner worked well.

I love the mood and music they right away had me wanting to explore. The art on the creatures were also great although the animations weren't very much to look at. The discovering of creatures was cool too.

Very disturbing and wierd game but in good way. Idea is unusual but very nice. keep up the good work!

Thanks for making it! I had fun playing it and I really enjoyed the artstyle. The animations were a bit wonky and the sprites could've been a bit more crisp but for being your first Ludum Dare this is really well done! :)

this game is really fun, the concept is pretty cool, but it only barely fits the theme, and the graphics are really cool

guimoliveira 2021-04-27 16:14

Cool game. I'm not sure, but I think I finished the game.

nick-barrash 2021-04-27 16:21

Nice job with the fauna art. Are there really slanted anteaters in the depths of the marianas trench? :joy:

mmisspelling 2021-04-27 17:04

@nick-barrash I have absolutely no idea haha, I guess there's only one way to find out! @guimoliveira You probably finished it! An ending screen would have been more appropriate. In the windows version the game just closes itself so it makes more sense. @shnigle-shnagle thank you!! I wanted to make a bigger and more exciting overworld where you could go deeper and deeper so that it would have fit the theme more, but it was too late already.

Thanks everybody for playing B)

The art and vibes are great, I liked the descriptions of the creatures too, the player animation could use some work though.

madhumster 2021-04-27 22:16

Graphics are really cool. It is obvious that a lot of work went into creature design. And I like scanner minigame. Did not get what was with ending but like it:) Great job!

Nice game!

The rythme feels very good, alternating between moody exploration, stressful mini game and calm text explanations. Great simple art too!

Thanks for the game and awesome job doing all of this on your own 💕

Quite unique gameplay. But i enjoyed it :). Nice graphics and sound!

robotex 2021-04-28 16:01

Heh, it's educational game. Graphics and souns are brilliant, but I want more challenges (I can't die here). Better to play it on touchscreen devices.

tengusheath 2021-04-29 05:37

The music is cool. I was playing on a laptop with a trackpad so trying to do the scanner part was really hard.

keppersnapper 2021-04-29 05:41

Thhe audio is really good and the mood is set well. I liked learning about the deep sea creatures alot! Im not sure why I got eaten at the end but it was fun overall! :D

lifeforce 2021-04-29 05:43

Very atmospheric, but I wasn't really sold on the ending. Aside from that I enjoyed what I've seen though. Nice!

okaylobster 2021-04-29 06:11

Interesting take on the theme. The designs were pretty spooky!

brandon-orden 2021-04-29 06:37

This game felt really unique! Had a interesting creepy vibe to it, but not so creepy that I was scared of it. The writing and art assets for the creatures did a good job to create an off kilter atmosphere that I liked. Nice work!

kenforest 2021-05-02 15:12

Cool concept, good atmosphere

leadphalanx 2021-05-08 18:12

Nice atmosphere. Electric-wall scanning stuff was neat, even if my tennis elbow prevented me from progressing too far. Overall a well done solo entry
