Game graphics is sooooo nice, good job!
The visuals and the music are wonderful. Not sure about the controls, the ship seems to go side to side when I am just pressing down, was that intentional? Nice work overall!
Thanks @usenrame and @antaresvaldemar :D Regarding the handling, yes, it is on purpose :) And you can improve it with updgrades
Pretty nice. The second dive into the ocean game I played. Can say this one is pretty unique though haha, and it plays... kinda well? Also nice art!
Nice music. I liked how it changes the deeper you go.
How do the upgrades work? They seem to be granted almost at random on picking up the boxes... but I can't quite tell.
Out of curiosity, is the control style meant to simulate ocean currents pulling/pushing along?
Really like the 3D style youre going for! The underwater current might be abit strong though It sometimes feels a little punishing, although I know youre supposed to upgrade your ship. A bit of extra movement speed would make it really fun :). But overall a really solid jam entry! Loveit!
It's a beautiful game, loved the direction you took the art, works wonders, the game itself is also quite fun, i like the idea of grinding upgrades and all, but even with maximum steering it still feels a bit sluggish, also i think it would be cooler if there were things to do along the way because it kinda feels like i'm just diving for 1 power up and then the next and so on. It's a gorgeous game and i had a lot of fun, good job!
Loved the design of the walls and rocks! Also the current and making the music louder as you got deeper was brilliant.
Nice game! :) I catched myself holding my breath while diving :D The jitter on the movement distracted me at first but now I thinkt it is an effective progress mechanic. I would have liked to have a tiny bit of light at the beginning - I got no light upgrade (or I didn't find it) so it was spooky dark down there! The music was a great addition to conter the stress when the air is running out :)
Nice little submarine game. I like the graphics and also that the audio fits very well to the game. The upgrade system is interesting as it forces the player to explore to find the needed crates. Being forced to go up after every crate is a bit exhausting (maybe add some stops in between, where you can refill air) but given the length of the game is doesn't matter that much. Overall a nice and fun to play game.
Very cool game! I love the sounds and the gameplay, smart re-use of the same bit of map  It did get a bit repetitive at some point, and it's very hard to play in a well lit room during the day  Also, it took me a couple of attempts to figure out I had to resurface with each crate. But that may be on me.
controlls are a litle bit hard but over all a good game
Didn't quite understand at first that you have to go up again to activate your collected upgrades. Had to look at the comments here to find out. Also I wished the control upgrades would have been solved differently, for example: Make the vehicle respond slow and give it a slow speed build up. Which you then can make faster by collecting these upgrades. Not only would it be a little bit less frustrating to navigate but also give the vehicle a sense of weight.
Other than that, this game was awesome! My time was 12:05. Loved the artstyle and the little touches everywhere. Sound design was superb, really liked that it changes the as deeper you go. Song itself is fitting too! Level design was simple yet very effective, exploring this was fun!
All-around good game! :)
@devmerlin @keppersnapper @vitor-milioni @noahj @oreaxeax @marcari @timendus @spider058 @katsuhira Thank you very much for your comments. We had a lot of fun making this game and we are thinking with my friend to expand this concept, maybe try other movement mechanics, who knows haha. I was a bit nervous about the art and aesthetics (it's my first game using Blender) but it seems like it was the right way. Your feedback is greatly appreciated c:
Great job on the music! I also really dug how you made the theme key to the gameplay. The loop honestly reminded me of a small-scale Subnautica, where you dive down to get things that let you dive deeper down until you reach the end goal. I feel like the handling was so odd that it kind of detracted. Maybe just using momentum or physics to change the handling, or give some kind of indicator of "currents" that are destabilizing you in the water or the submarine flapping awkwardly. Again, very good job, and good work using Blender! It can be a little hard to get the hang of but you created something quite aesthetically pleasing!
wow, really a pleasant little game! only comment would be that maybe a force-driven movement would be a bit harder but also easier to "master" than the random jitter that seemed to be there. Also a periodic stream of bubbles would be good too :) Overall very nice!
