@miej: yeah well... some more branching and interactivity was the first thing that got to go when I finished the draft and realized that there's no way I could finish the whole story in time unless I'll cut everything to bare bones :/

Yes. This is everything, it made me so happy :) Real disco elysium vibes. The only thing I found myself reaching for was a pause button/menu, just so I could go get some popcorn without missing any of the dialogue

Inspired by Rorschach, the Wild Cards series and Disco Elysium :grin:

Not much of a game, but I enjoyed the hell out of it! Nice story with a twist, fine writing, very enjoyable to listen to and contribute slightly. Would be glorious if there would be branching paths and alternative outcomes, but we all know the time constraints of a jam.

Very cool voice acting and good quality of recording. I noticed two "bugs": - Near the beginning part of the text is missing from the actual text ("...know. So just wait a bit."). It's said, but not written. - Later there is a bit that is written but not voiced (voice-over sort of cuts away): "although he didn't step in it."

@fabula-rasa yeah, when I was recording, I often corrected typos or changed the line slightly, and I guess I didn't fix the text always, or cut it correctly - I was in a hurry to make compo time limit :/

This had me laughing! Really enjoyed the story, the writing and the voice acting. Didn't mind the linearity of the story either because it was nice to know I could just choose the madness options without it affecting things too terrible. Really good job!
