Great graphics and concept, just the controls are little hard to master.

Good job mate! Nice graphics and story, I really enjoyed it.
I thought that controls were pretty bad, but I just needed to collect some more mushrooms before the maneurability was good enough to catch up with the target. Nicely done.

Can't really figure out what to do after filling my oxygen tank. It seems I can't interact with anything else. Will give it another try tomorrow though, maybe I'm just tired. Anyway, the visuals and audio are awesome.
@philstrahl yeah, I knew that :-) I was actually talking about filling my oxygen tank in the life support section, not from the first pressure suit. Anyway, I was able to finish it today. I just missed I could take the "domino" on the floor. Great game!
BTW I hope to see a post mortem on this!
Simple, but can entertain for a few minutes. I like the leaderboards.
Awesome job guys. I like the originality of the idea. The graphics are incredible and it was fun to play.
Holy sh*t, this was scary! But awesome. Congrats on the game.
It's not working man. Even copying the UnityPlayer.dll from another project didn't help.
This game is a gem :-) Really fun to play, well done!
One of the best games I played here. Great take on the theme and so much fun!
The graphics are top-notch, but I don't see the theme used anywhere. There's also not much to do than click on stuff. It's well made though, I can imagine this being a great adventure game if expanded a little. Good job.
I played the android version.I think the controls are too simple and I was not feeling I am actually playing a game. Maybe switching the controls might solve this - the faster you tap, the faster you run. You stop tapping, then you hide. This would give the player control over how fast is he moving and could provide more intense gameplay.
@arron-fowler I understand, i just put in my two cents :-) You have a great game here, if you can make the controls more interesting and maybe add online ladder, it could do well on the appstore. Wish you luck!
Awesome game, I really like it. Only downside is that after a few loops, the current character is visually lost in all the ghosts and I had troubles recognizing who I am controlling right now.
It's really nice for 5 hours of work.
Great entry, I very much like the concept. Too bad there's too few levels, I would certainly like to play a few more.
This game is great, but sometimes it gets a little confusing. The building are hard to identify, and I got some buildings destroyed by firestorms, it took my a while to notice I am missing some facility. The firestorms are a complete pain in the ass :-) But i managed to launch the rocket! I was player 20, and after finishing the game I launched it again, as player 21, so I would expect to start with the same amount of the resources as I left on the planet in the previous play, but there was certainly more water and oil than at the end of my first game. But I had 100 water already in my stock, so maybe that gets added back to the planet? Anyway, really cool game, can't believe you did this in three days. Amazing.
@themoonrise thanks for the explanation. It makes sense, as when I left on the rocket, the resources were left behnd. Personally, I didn't know that the resources were going to be added back, so as soon as I realized I have more water than I will possibly need, I buldozed all water pumps, to save something for next players. For me, it added an extra layer to the game, to gather only as much resources as I needed for my survival.
Thanks again for the game, it's perfect.
Nice game, too bad you werent able to incorporate the theme into this one.
Great visuals and music. Is it possible to break the loop though? I made it to day 3.
Can't get past the second level either :-( But i like the concept.
@foo-squashed-games the controls are terrible :-) Am I supposed to be able to jump while in air? I got to the boss, but he always resets the timer because... controls :-D
As a soon-to-be-parent (in 2 weeks!) I appreciate this. It was pretty hard until I realized I can just grab the child and then hold him until a need pops up instead of trying to catch him after the need arises. The voice actign is spot on, and the graphics - my god, it's awesome :-)
Great game, i got stuck however in this room and wasn't able to continue... placed the box was placed on the tile that was supposed to open the portal, but nothing happened :-( But i guess it's not a bug if everyone else was able to finish it. I am just stupid :-(

@geryon-games Oh, I didn't think you can take things with you through the clocks! Nice!
Nice game, had fun for a few minutes, then I got stuck. But that's not a flaw :-)
This is really cute game. I just hate to watch the intro cutscene every time I float into the space.
You spin me right round, baby Right round like a record, baby Right round, round, round
:-)

I don't think it's a good design choice to make the teleports invisible. In the first level, as @spacialseasoning mentioned, you can miss the teleport if you fall of the ledge. And so I thought falling down to the pit was not a way to go, but fortunately I tried to jump across the pit and the S key did not work, so I just teleported. That's how I found there is a teleport to the top platform. What is the S key supposed to do? The idea is good, the art is good, but for me, the mechanics just don't work well.
yeah... i think your build is broken, it's showing only a menu.
Yeah, I gave it up :-) I wish you would use Unity's physics to push objects around. Now it seems they are pushed in some kind of grid, not sure why. It would be so much more awesome and maybe even easier to implement than what you did. Haven't looked at the source code though.
This game is great. Can't believe you were able to do all the art and animation in 3 days. Just amazing! Have 5/5 from me in all categories man.
The itch.io page shows 404 not found.
@voidraizer @crazi456 @neonjeff @nikos @oa5f @dadiaogames @omar-14 @seanarooni @m8rix @axeltherabbit @coding4rtist @fussenkuh @justswn @alec Thanks to everybody for the nice feedback. This was my first jam and didn't know what to expect, but the community here is really nice :-) Hope I didn't forget to mention anyone.
@gironimo4 it's frustrating for me too, should probably start with more than 100 % to satysfy my inner OCD :-)
@nobleboy I don't believe you caught every last rain drop, so I guess the grass had it's share of water too :-)
@netmute there's a "progressbar" underneath the beaver that fills up, you have have keep an eye on it :-)
@virtual-turtle-studio wow 612? I have never got that many points, the game starts to be a little boring after a a while :-D Yes, I definitely wanted to add music, but as I wanted to join the compo not the jam, I would have to create the music myself, which was a no go.
@jakobthequizguy there's no thunder :-) maybe you mean tge sound when you are pouring the water out of the bucket :-) It was the closest I got to the sound of water using sfxr :-D
This game is very well made. I especially love the graphics. The concept is fun, but becomes a little repetetive after a while. Maybe the merry-go-round could speed up over time to change the pace of the game.
@letterafterz I like the changes you made. Now I actually see what I grabbed :-) Is it just me, or am I starving faster as the game progresses?
This is awesome, definetely one of the best games from this jam I have played so far. Congrats!
Am I doing that right? :-D Also, notice the stress level

The graphics are top-notch and the idea is just hilarious, I had fun and that's what LD is about :-) Good job!
Great visuals, as always. I am not sure how the target depth is set though. Is it increased after each successful dive? I wanted to go deeper (and deeper), but the diver always grabbed the bouy and wanted to return. What a coward :-)
I wonder how you can create a game like this in 15 hours, but then again, based on your YT videos, you probably created all the models in like 30 minutes and had the rest for coding :-)
Nice work!
To be honest, it didn't look like much at first. I really didn't expect a puzzle game from you. But I was pleasantly surprised how you managed to twist the tetris to perfection. It took me a while how to use bombs though, it made life so much easier after that discovery :-D
This is one of the best games I played in this LD. It's super fun. I wish there was some kind of indication which module is effective against which fish (some icon above the fish? or better yet, making the station icon the same color as the fish?) because with a lot of action happening on the screen it's really hard to focus on remembering the color codes. As others already said, gold becomes obsolete when you have all the upgrades, so there should always be something to upgrade. Maybe you could upgrade everything indefinitely, but the next pgrade would always cost twice/thrice/... that much. For the attack modules, each upgrade could improve the effectivnes a little. That way, even worst players would eventually finish the game.
This is so far my favorite from this LD. It's just brilliant, even if a little frustrating :-)
Wow! This is easily the best game of the Jam. At least from 30-ish games I have played so far. It is the only one I played to completion and enjoyed the hell out of it every second up to the outro. Graphics are just wonderful and the gameplay is simple yet engaging.
Just brilliant. Great job.
Nice entry. But what are the torches good for? :-D
One of the best entries in this LD. Great graphics and real polished gameplay. Sometimes it's just hard to know where you will end after using Dash, but it adds to the fun :-)
Hey, I had similar idea for my game, check it out if you want. Mine is more action-oriented though. Your's more polished. I like the graphics and the mechanism of revealing resources with the light. The controls were a little unresponsive though. I know this is probably by design, but I think it's too much. Overall, great work!
As it was already said, the concept is great, but the controls are a real weak point. I recommend you this video which focuses on this very topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yorTG9at90g
If this is not a full 5-star game, than nothing is. Graphics are just amazing. I also love the voice acting. Playing this game was a real fun.
I got stuck at the parking lot and couldn't find a way to progress any further :-(
The graphics are really nice though and I liked the concept. Well done!
Btw my antivirus had some complaints about the exe file, it was quite a challenge to run the game :-) I don't know if it's something you can fix.
I wish you would have spent more time polishing the single player game instead of the MP capability. The camera is a real pain in the arse :-) Why is it blocking me from looking directly down or up? It's a solid base for a game though.
Really nice game. It took me a good while to learn that I am supposed to mine the minerals to buy poweraps and move left and right. After that, it was good fun. Some tutorial would be great.
EDIT: I see the instructions are there, I just skipped it in the beginning :face_palm:
Excellent submission. The only thing that annoyed was the slow text when interacting with objects. Then sometimes when I was clicking to dismiss the text (or at least I thought it makes the text go faster), I accidentally clicked on the object again and had to go through the dialog one more time :-/. So frustrating. Otherwise, it's pretty epic what you achieved in 72 hours.
The mood of this game is great, the music fits perfectly to the slow pace of the game. What I didn't like was the unresponsive controls. I know it's probably by design, but it felt kinda weird as if I am not controlling the character at all. Also, I am missing some kind of feedback when the character dies. The game just resets to beginning, which is kind of confusing and first few times I thought it's a bug.
I really like the idea of underwater text adventure. But for me it kinda felt "empty". I didn't feel like I am playing a game.
It could be easily fixed if you had all the actions (torpedo/laser/evade/go down) available for each encounter. That way you would have to remember, which creatures you have to attack and which you can just go around. That would make the bestiary real useful. Now you automatically know what you have to do on each screen. I think this one change alone would take the game to whole new level.
Also, after reaching Hadopelagic zone, my submarine disappeared. I don't think that was intended, as the fish are perfectly visible, so it's not just dark :-)
2021-05-01 12_39_39-Submarine Adventure by BFLAT Interactive.png
Wow, nice entry. There's so much things to do in the submarine, I really enjoyed it. The only thing I don't like are fish swimming backwards :-)
@lajbert you kinda can, if you have your mouse over the submarine, it will fall slower :-) But maybe I will add possibility to go upwards, but the camera will stay where it is, so you want be able to return back, you would just have the ability to get above the enemies.
@locustjin thank you!
@locustjin I see your game is VERY similar :-D But your gameplay and graphics are way better, I really like it :-)
@genpaku you are right, it's easier to avoid them with the basic weapon. Once you have one or two upgrades you'll cut through them easier. Also, the deeper you go, the more and bigger enemies are spawned and it gets harder to avoid them.
@villanelle @arctiform-llc @skleembof I agree, tutorial is needed. Yes, the point is you can land where the wreck is and upgrade weapons, health or refill your oxygen. I thought it adds a little bit of strategic element, because you have to die a few times so you have enough wrecks to upgrade and refill oxygen on the way down. But sadly it's not communicated inside the game in any way.
@johannimations thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The reason the laser beam is always on is that I want to work on it post-jam and make it playable on mobile phones, that's why you only need to worry about driving the sumbarine. It's designed for one-finger touch control.
I sometimes died unexpectedly, like when walking over the grapple anchor on the floor. I liked the art and the music, it goes toghether well. Kinda got a "Firefly" vibe from it :-) Good job.
Great game, very similar to my own, which just proves it is a great concept :-D I like the look and feel on your game better, though. Good job!
I like the style, but the camera movement is terrible. I had a hard time navigating around. I think with a little more polishing and expanding the tutorial, this an be a great game.
I think the enemies should remain staggered a little while after you stop pointing the light at them. I couldn't see any difference when changing the light intensity. I thought it's supposed to damage the enemies more when the light is focused.
For me it was impossible to get the timing right on the third screen. But I like the concept and the art, you guys did a great job.
The graphics and music are top-notch, I really like this style. But I found the game to be a little difficult and sometimes confusing. I wasn't sure what kills me (e.g. flying heads just froze me but the spike would kill me instantly). Getting on a ladder while in the air was also a trouble for me. Overall, I think it's a great entry, but the learning curve is too steep.
The game lacks some kind of motivation to keep playing, it gets boring really fast. Nice work on the graphics though and the gameplay is also pretty smooth. Just had a few problems trying to mark billy when I found him, it always took several tries from different angles.
As others already said, it's really hard to control the character and I had real troubles getting on a ladder. I think it's not possible to get on the ladder while you are in air, which I would expect from a "platformer". Or maybe I just timed it wrong... Otherwise I think this is an exceptional entry, with really nice graphics and concept. I can easily imagine this being released as a commercial game once the controls are more polished.
This is brutal :-) Great idea, probably one of the most innovative concepts I have seen. Great job.
