LD47 — Stuck in a loop

A Good Way to Die by Pennycook 2020-10-10T10:16:27Z

Funny interactions and the Death character is funny. The art and soun design is very good. It is a bit short but gets the point accross very well so congrats! I would think of making the one room escape the theme of your game and expand on that. You could make a very fun game!

Hack'n Loop by Darenn 2020-10-10T09:57:28Z

If you add a maybe a boss, some more enemies and tweak the pace a little I would spend a good amount of hours playing it. Maybe some progression between tries like extra starting HP? Great graphics and sound effects tho.

I recommend tweaking the damage increase you get at first. The first damage increase feels like a 50% dmg increase making it very powerful. You only need to hit the little shooters twice and boomers 4 times. With that damage I spent the next 8 levels without having more than one or two enemis on screen since they died almost upon being spawned (simultaneous spawns are good to avoid that). Also if you increase your damage furter you get almost no benefit at least with a total of three increases(since you still need the same amount of hits per enemy as with the first bonus) making it only detrimental for you because you will only die faster when the enemies will die in the same amount of time.

Other than that it was great fun and the scoreboard is a very nice addition, makes you want to play more to appear in that top 10.

Paradox by Wahooney 2020-10-06T15:11:00Z

The concept is very good. I like that you can kill your past selves which gives for a lot of liberty of gameplay. Would be cool to see some more levels in the future :)

Hyperloop hell by Aterlamia 2020-10-07T10:44:29Z

Interesting use for the theme and very cool art! There are a couple misspels in case you missed them. Would be cool to have some alternate early endings like being shot down or caught if you go the wrong way or take too long to hide. But it is still a very nice game

a Damsel a Day by alec 2020-10-08T07:54:47Z

Simple game but very satisfying to play. Could make a great casual game for mobile devices with a trillion more levels. There are sometimes where trees are in the way of either the player's spawn point or the lady making it hard to very quickly decide where to go. Other than that very polished game!

LoopBreak by Belonzik 2020-10-05T21:27:04Z

Very cool platformer. Loved the increase of difficulty of each level and how you played with the number of swaps and order of buttons. Loved it!

Loopomotive by JPiolho 2020-10-05T21:28:53Z

Loved the style and how you played with the theme! The music and the game come together very well, it's one of those games you could sit playing for hours like PolyBridge or Train Valley.

Stuck in the time by EasyLuckyGem 2020-10-07T09:51:36Z

Will come back later to see if the game was published on itch.io

Defuse in under 5 by Darylsteak 2020-10-08T07:50:49Z

This was an overall 5:star: to me. Very simple yet very cool gameplay, the music stressing you out in the intended way and very nice pixel art. Congrats, this is a very good game :)

TimeSplitters 4 by BlueCalx 2020-10-07T09:34:13Z

Good fit for the theme and very challenging. Very good overall!

Beyond Death by Trypants 2020-10-08T07:39:18Z

Love the voxel art, the gameplay is simple yet promising. It reminds me a little bit of minecraft story mode. The environment changing with your deaths is a really nice touch. Very good polish overall :)

Escape Velocity by OrdiNeu 2020-10-05T21:39:01Z

Very cool concept for this theme. You should add a reset to the black hole when reseting the player, but other than that loved the aesthetics and the gameplay good job!

Enclosed by Daniel Jenikovský 2020-10-10T09:33:41Z

Very fun game. I love the idea. The aesthetics are very fitting, all white only ambient occlusion is just perfect. This is a great game congrats! You could very well make more levels and release it on steam.

As a side note: I fell out of the map in the third level. I looped space downwards and fell onto a plaform, don't remember which one but it was one of the ones ontop of the portal (the corner). Once I cut the loop standing near the edge I got pushed out of the map (I was standing still when I cut the loop I think).

Loop Bulb by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2020-10-07T09:22:57Z

We are indeed gonna rework the gameplay loop so that the main objective is to get the lightbulb from the cabinet and get to the door. You will get interrupted by random mini-tasks like at the moment. Once you learn the tasks and do them fast enough you will be able to beat the timer and exit the loop. We are working on that but since we can't change the game until the voting period is over it will have to wait until then to be released :) We might introduce shortcuts like with the keys or the screwdriver if you know where or which to pick up you will be able to skip some steps.

Right now the exit condition is the little pop up text in the main menu when you exit the game after the first day is over.

Loop Bulb by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2020-10-08T15:18:27Z

@desertmaw @zoomer It was a miss on our part, we thought that using the pause menu to go back to the main menu and giving you an ending to the story with the pop up text that you get after the first day would be enough to explain the ending as well as a funny way of presenting it. But we realized thanks to you guys's feedback that we should have done a gameplay ending where you make the tasks fast enough to beat the timer.

We are currently doing that just now as well as adding random tasks instead of always the same ones in the same order. This will not be out until the voting period is finished for the jam ofc.

We apreciate all feedback you all give us, this was our second ever jam so maybe we underestimated what was needed. We will finish this game and prepare for the next one with a new lesson learned :)

Loop Bulb by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2020-10-08T21:44:54Z

@owlycode @cyborgx7 Someone has found the inspiration for the game :bulb:

Loop Bulb by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2020-10-12T09:18:09Z

@pquiskamp totally agree. It was a big oversight on our end that we are fixing while remaking the core loop for the game. (Not released until the end of the voting period)

WhileLoops by Ausstein 2020-10-07T11:05:42Z

This one hit right in my anxiety with the constant pop ups and quick clicking. It gets very hard to come back if you go too far in the wrong direction but it's normal. Very fun game and scaling difficulty.

Paper Planes by SamDemaine 2020-10-08T15:30:16Z

This game is very cool. A nice take on snake that would work wonders on mobile if you can add more enemy archetypes and levels to increase progression and variation so that you can make an infinite amount of levels. The pixel art is very nice and the effects and SFX go well together well done!

Danger Beat by rhoff95 2020-10-10T09:11:52Z

I loved the idea of using the theme for a music loop. If you remake some of the art to make it a little more clean and add a few extra tweaks using other's feedback you will have a very nice game for both mobile and PC. Games that come with great beats like your game does are great for both platforms. If you can add different levels and types of tracks for each level you would have a complete game IMO.

Great job!

Bjorn to Dance by Tomh 2020-10-10T09:20:09Z

The game looks great, awesome graphics and a side of humour that I loved. But I was expecting something a bit more rythmic instead of the Simon game. It's not a bad idea for this theme but maybe it would be cool to change it up a little if you want to make something with this game in the near future.

Up the rythm for example. It would affect difficulty so maybe think of instead of delivering the sequence with sounds upon being pressed maybe do something like Guitar Hero or Piano Tiles 2 and synch the button presses with the rythm of music that plays in the background. Different musics will give you different tempos changing difficulty for you. The further you complete a sequence the further you get into a song. Just and idea but could work :) Whatever you do, do not get rid of the viking dancing, make it funny like the Rasputin with Vladimir Putin video. Go wild.

Even then great idea and well executed

Looped Fellas by BukkakeTears 2020-10-08T08:08:11Z

The art is very peculiar and you made a very unique game to complement it and I loved it. For some reason it reminded me of that animation for Rasputin where Valdimir Putin was dancing.

If you spam the click you can scroll the screen up and down quite a bit because of how the camera shake works (at some point I could only see half of the wheel). What does the Speed Up pannel say when its up? Thanks Ry- something? Was funny to find :)

Time Saver by Daniikk1012 2020-10-07T10:26:09Z

I like the concept of playing with time and getting time for later while killing. Needs some balancing but overall very good game!

Project R.O.O.M by Arad HamidSamiee 2020-10-07T10:00:56Z

Damn, this game managed to make me uneasy with such a simple setup. I guess the answer sound effects are random but that alone makes it so creepy. A little like when you fight Psycho Mantis where he knows things about you using the memory card. The creepy one eyed thing in the corner is creepy, thank you for not jumpscaring me :) After about 30 questions I realized I went over the ten questions mark and started moving around.

SORO BORO by nethead 2020-10-07T10:52:57Z

Amazing graphics and cool gameplay. The little changes to the maps makes you think quick to where to move and how. The collisions of the enemies are a bit too low, sometimes the bullets go through them.

Looped by Leo Red 2020-10-08T15:35:43Z

Cool little game. There a couple things you should tweak like the red loop around you gets so small it is impossible to dodge so you are just trying to get as many points before the bullets reach you. The shooting could also be limited, limit the fire rate so that you have to be a little more tactical with your movements but reduce enemies health to counter this.

Just an idea: if you make the red circle bouncy so that if the player gets too close its gets bounced back. Would make the movement more tight and the player would need to pay attention more making it more challenging :)

Collateral Damage by Michael Parrish 2020-10-08T07:36:45Z

This game looks good, sounds good and feels good. It's a nice change to the classic space invaders but integrating the Loop theme. Very cool gameplay, would love to see this be develop further to add extra difficulty and mechanics. Great job!

Aztec Ride by Idan Rooze 2020-10-10T09:04:07Z

Very fun game. I love the little character flying around. Sound design is awesome. It would make a very fun mobile game for sure, try making some more content for it and release it :)

iLoop - the 2D endless runner game of a robot stuck in a loop :) by melvinng 2020-10-07T10:22:13Z

Fun little game and very well done for your first game jam! If you ever feel like continuing developing this game you should add some more things to the gameplay to spice it up a little. Right now it's a it dull but the art is very good!

Something to Tell You by Blind Lemon Games 2020-10-07T09:49:41Z

Very interesting game. A tiny bit disturbing at times but on purpous and very cool effects. Playing around with collision and the mouse at times was a nice idea.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Balloon Rush 2 by CocaPasteque 2022-04-05T08:04:36Z

Man this game is great! The aesthetic is great and matches so well with the music. The theme is followed perfectly and the gameplay is tight. I currently have the high score at 1:57.109. Let's see how long it lasts hahaha. Congratulations and this awesome game!

Block or Bust by 100th_Coin 2022-04-05T07:53:52Z

This game was a very fun experience. The animations, gameplay and overall feel of the game is great. Really gives you that stress of managing multiple things at once. Loved the little details you put like the extra clothing pieces and the different underground maps. Managed to beat it in 8:46.07 :)

Solar Death by simex 2022-04-05T08:18:02Z

Amazing visuals, love the shadows that the planets have. I didn't get how to control the firing at first but once you understand the controls it's smooth sailing from there. Cool animation when resetting the game. The only thing bothering me is that the Main Menu UI is not centered, but that is just a small detail :)

Such a shame you opt-out from graphics and mood, they both would have been pretty high.

Solar Death by simex 2022-04-05T08:30:48Z

@simex cool! will update my ratings then :)

Dating under the Comet by Joscco 2022-04-05T11:02:28Z

Damn the artwork in this game is awesome. I would to see more games with this kind of style. The gameplay is straightforward and in line with the theme. The animations are amazing and the level of polish is astonishing. Congratulations, amazing job!

Ludare OS by foxwater 2022-04-05T11:22:01Z

First time I've ever seen a ROM as an entry, will definitely try the ROM later. The pairing of music and graphics is awesome. The gameplay is simple enough but as you progress you need to get creative and think faster and faster. Reminds me of Countdown (UK TV Show).

If you ever want to go further with this I would add a way for the player to see the target number without having to search for it on the map. With a small map such as the one you have it works. It forces the user to waste time to go look for it, but as a game outside this jam's theme I think it would be interesting to add an extra cycle to the character's screen that displays the target and current values maybe?

I loved this game, big fan of gameboy games :) Very well done!

No Time To Leave by Attala 2022-04-09T13:34:54Z

Very impressive for a comp entry. The layout of the map didn't feel repetitive and was simple enough to navigate even with similar looking walls with just enough variations to not stand out. I would have maybe created a variation of the bot that shot at you at a distance as well as maybe a head hitbox for extra damage to give something extra to the gameplay. But being a compo there is so much you can do, very good job!

Domotichaos by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2022-04-05T06:59:05Z

HOLY! That is indeed a very big high score. Glad you enjoyed it!

Domotichaos by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2022-04-05T10:54:12Z

@janku he has a high score that is very difficult to beat but you came so close GJ!

@attala thanks a lot man! The doors where deliberately done that way. It could be changed very easily tho. Thanks for the feedback :)

@dan-allison it is indeed the best part. Try and wait a couple minutes in the main menu see what happens ;)

Domotichaos by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2022-04-06T19:24:14Z

Thank you all for the amazing feedback so far. Really appreciate it!

@chocolat-endive That is a very good idea. We will right it down in case we decide to test some things out and add more things in the future :)

The Saga of Thorbjorn Olafsson by kr0s 2022-04-09T14:14:23Z

Cool concept, amazing graphics and entertaining gameplay. Needs some balancing on the different tiles since by doing left-right-left-right all the time you get no traps and go on forever. Also you can spam spacebar to constantly jump and avoid all the traps most of the time. Although if you spam spacebar while turning the character will drift outside the path, which is funny :)

Overall very good entry but needs some polish in the gameplay

Click to Continue by Daniel Foutz 2022-04-06T16:07:11Z

This is amazingly long, which goes perfectly with the theme to see how long will the player delay closing the game. Such a simple concept that is dependent on the narrator and was executed very well, it reminded me of Corridor and There is no game. I would love to see some statistics to see where players decided to quit the game hahahaha

Good job!

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-06T15:26:58Z

This is an amazing entry, it reminded me of the old PC point and click games. Gorgeous visual and audio design. The mechanic is simple yet effective. Very well done!

If I had to change something it would be the rover's movement speed that changes from time to time. Sometimes it suddenly accelerates for no apparent reason. But other than this little detail everything feels super polished :)

Volcano by ABRDs 2022-04-06T15:47:19Z

Cool idea and a very cute volcano hahaha. I liked the use of the skybox as a countdown visual. I would have loved maybe some more items to drag around the island, I think I ran out after exploring everything or to make the time the volcano takes to explode increasingly shorter so that you don't find yourself waiting for it to explode without anything left to drag. Will give the player the impression that he can do better if he tries again :)

Watch it by Miiyuka 2022-04-05T09:07:51Z

Haven't played many games of this genre but it was interesting. I like playing around with the different paths you can take. I like being able to interact with little things in the environment such as the teddy bears, you could have skipped it considering it's a jam but you didn't. Great job!

Highrail to hell by BadPiggy 2022-04-06T15:35:24Z

I love the idea of using zombies as the inevitable factor, fits very well. The game itself is great, would have loved some more scenarios but it is understandable being a jam.

The only things that bothered me is that, at first the player sprite seemed to be backwards making it look that I was walking the doing the moon walk hahaha. Other than that, good entry to the jam!

BananaRama by Spider058 2022-04-05T07:32:42Z

It's a nice idea with very cute art. One thing I would change is being able to fill the bar completely before the monkey comes down and takes all the bananas away. You can fill it up but nothing happens, it would be best if filling it would be impossible.

Otherwise a good entry and fun little game :)

CATCH THE PHONE! by Golin 2022-04-05T08:32:01Z

This gives me flashbacks to those moments where you frantically try to stop your phone from falling but ultimately fail hahaha. Great game!

What Have You Drawn? by MrPouletBZH 2022-04-05T08:44:58Z

I like the idea of being able to progress through sacrificing your lives. The art, animations and transitions are great! A little detail that you could add is changing the cursor's sprite to match the aesthetic of your game and make it evolve with the player. Managed to get to the last world but didn't last long in there hahahahha

Desert Oasis by Janku 2022-04-09T13:53:52Z

Good vibes and interesting concept, the animations were funny and well done. Definitely needs some work gameplay-wise. Maybe change the controls to a point and click instead of using buttons. Still, nice entry for the jam.

Over the Rainbow Bridge by Iguanana 2022-04-05T11:31:09Z

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare and welcome to the community :) The game hits right in the feels (damn ninjas cutting onions...).

It is more of a story game with a simple loop to pass a message across. But maybe elaborating a bit more on the gameplay would have been good. A little detail that would have been cool to see is the sprite for the dog changing: starting with a puppy, then a grown dog and then maybe change the animation to look more tired for the last part.

It is a good emotional game nonetheless. Good job!

Paddle Panic 🚣‍♂️😱 by Marlon 2022-04-05T07:38:03Z

I like the idea a lot. There are so many little things you need to manage and can do none at the same time which makes it impossible to actually do anything. Awesome entry that fits the them perfectly.

Mr. Second by Marvis 2022-04-09T16:09:19Z

Great platformer with amazing visuals and audio, specially for a jam it is impressive. The controls are smooth and responsive which is important in a platformer.

I liked the forced switch but I would have changed the timer to something more visual like a stopwatch or an analogue watch to precisely time the switch with your movement. Could maybe get away with some easier jumps into the void for the last piece. Also maybe change the camera to have a better field of view of the scene, I think it's a bit too close to the character to really understand the level or plan your movement.

Other than that great entry for the jam. Congratulations on a great project

LD53 — Delivery

Elite Delivery. Pizza Dangerous by boddiul 2023-05-02T13:04:11Z

Fun game with lovely graphics. The only thing I would try to adjust is the enemies because you can avoid it infinitely. I would make it so that after some time if the enemy hits nothing more enemies. These enemies would stay on the opposite sides of the orbit so that there are no safe spots over time unless the enemies get killed.

Animal Ferry by Tony Li 2023-05-03T09:48:05Z

I liked this puzzle game a lot. Nice implementation of the classic riddle. Music was very fitting and relaxing.

It would be nice that after each level hints would be added on screen of what you learned from the previous levels. Start with no info, then after the first level is complete have a reminder that mouse eats grain, after the second level fox eats mouse would be added and so on. That way you can look at it and not have to memorize it all. Specially for a game jam having to memorize things is hard if you are testing multiple games in a row.

Other than that, I kept accidentally clicking on the sail for the trip back when I wanted to unload what I was carrying because the boat flips when it arrives to shore. Maybe making a boat design that has the sail in the middle so that it doesn't change places would be better. It's just a small detail though.

Either way great job!

UntitledDroneGame by that1guy232 2023-05-02T06:34:10Z

Very fun game to play around with, I started to toss the coins and letting them fall onto the objective while zooming through the map for extra efficiency. Very satisfying :) You could add some more momentum to the coins when they are dropped, I feel like they get very little momentum horizontally but still very fun to play with.

Mouth Feel by ColeSlaughter 2023-05-03T11:44:05Z

"They had us in the first half, not gonna lie." :joy:

Very unique game and interesting game with a cool story. The fact that you don't need to make the correct sound to continue is a good idea since it is hard to get the hang of it so you can experiment a bit until you get how it works. Most creative game I've seen so far, Great job!

De-Liverance of a God by gord10ahmet 2023-05-03T11:50:03Z

I love this. It's fun to play around with just for the funny answers. A funny interaction I had:

- Heracles: With great power comes great responsibility

- Me: Uncle Ben told me this already

- Heracles: Wise words from a wise man

Even with AIs that can sometimes do weird things you managed to make something very cool and entertaining. I love that you can talk with different characters. Great job!

eelBay by Peco 2023-05-03T10:03:32Z

Very cool puzzle game. I struggled a bit at first until getting the hang of the mechanics but after that it was very intuitive.

The only thing I would add is that the pattern you need to add to the boats gets recognize even if it's down by one line for example. Since you need to go fast it's not always the quickest to match it exactly and end up having to move everything up. It does make the check for matches a bit more complex to code so I get why it was done like this with the time constraint of a game jam.

Either way amazing job!

Banish Pit by Firebelley 2023-05-02T14:08:57Z

Damn this is amazing, he combat is simple but super satisfying. The graphics are cool, reminds me of the of Shovel Knight. Amazing game for a jam, you could make it a full game if you wanted to.

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T06:26:43Z

@that1guy232 Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback! The music is amazing indeed :) About the difficulty, we had a slightly harder version at first but after some testing done by friends they said it was very difficult so we tuned it down a bit. I might add a difficulty selector that will simply change how fast you start losing performance as well as how fast you lose it over time.

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T11:15:15Z

@that1guy232 @matthewdrake I just published a new version with the difficulty selection. Left the normal difficulty for how it was in the first version and added a harder mode for those that feel it is too easy :)

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T11:17:02Z

@jeff-kerman it should be fps independent, I made note to avoid that being a problem. It does go down quickly though hahahaha. Learning the layout a bit over a few tries helps. The NPCs give you request pretty quickly so you can cycle between a few to avoid wasting time walking a lot :)

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T11:22:11Z

@allax The controls do feel a bit weird at first, could not find a way to perfect it in time. The movement uses animation curves to move from one grid to the next (2 unity units). Initially it had a little pause between steps but the motion sickness was insane after a while, so decided to make it linear. But then you don't really feel the grid without the pauses so getting the timing to quickly swap between moving and turning gets a bit complicated. I sometimes end up going one grid further than I wanted.

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T15:56:00Z

@agameortwo wow! no idea what that is about hahahaha The webgl version was done afterwards, I had to change all the materials because we used a shader for the mats that did not work on WebGL but it is weird. None of us had a mac so could not test it. Now I'm curious what the hell went wrong there XD Glad you managed to enjoy that still :)

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-02T18:49:00Z

@nathan-franck I agree with what you said about the movement. We ended up leaving it like this because we wanted to change it a bit from what we did last year (top view like you described). We could have still tweeked the camera rotation more but we thought that with the fast paced movement an instant snap would disorient players. Design is definitely our biggest weakpoint.

Delivery Boy by ZOMBIEBUST3R 2023-05-03T15:44:53Z

@tom-oak Sorry about the window. The movement caused us quite a bit of motion sickness while playing for a while but playing on windowed got rid of it. We also thought that for ease of testing windowed would be better since it allows you to close it and move it quickly. But it is a good point that for bigger res screens it would appear to be very small.

@winter2277 Totally agree with the progression changes. As for the movement we knew it was probably better to play with a top down view but we did not want to repeat the same game we did last year. Thus we stuck with this style of movement which seemed interesting to play around with. The camera could be turned faster, that is true.

Pack 'Em Up by OgelGames 2023-05-02T12:52:22Z

Ah yes! This is some good stuff that satisfies my OCD. But because of how the physics and collisions work sometimes some slivers of space would be left and some combination of boxes would not fill the entire height of the truck. Probably not done because of time constraints but maybe using a grid based placement on the truck instead of physics would have been better? Leaving the physics only on the outside, love to play around throwing them around :)

Da Livery Quest by Sky909 2023-05-02T14:30:45Z

Cool graphics with entertaining gameplay. The pixel art is amazing. Small detail, I would name the zip file something not so generic, when testing jam games if the rar does not have the name of the game it gets confusing :)

No Junk Mail by MisterKeefe 2023-05-02T14:20:50Z

I like the twist to the theme of stopping the delivery. It is very chaotic but fun to play. Great job!

Pedal Panic by fnelix 2023-05-02T14:14:45Z

Love the variety to get points. Would have loved to have a shadow on the bike to be able to tell the height of the character in the air when jumping. Other than that very fun to play.

Parcel Purgatory by Wilko 2023-05-02T12:10:48Z

I loved this one. Everything is so well done, I can't believe this was done in just three days. Would love to know whether the movement of the box is animation or physics based, super curious about that.

The little 3D car is very cute. Gameplay is good, some sprites might be a bit similar to each other but it was alright. I found myself optimizing by taking ingredients before even needing them to go faster XD Well done!

This was a rollercoaster of a game. Did not expect any of it coming in but it was a blast. The dialogue is funny and the ending is very fitting. Would have loved a level selector but other than that awesome work!

Simple platformer but very satisfying to move around in the building. Would have maybe changed a few things about the building to add more shortcuts and also would have liked for the middle hole in the very bottom of the building (the thing above the coffee shop) to be either lower or the building higher so that you can go down through that hole. Also not sure if wall jumping was a bug or not but made it moving around a lot faster.

Loved the little cat that comes out from one of the doors :)

The controls are pretty hard but I guess that is the goal. I couldn't figure out a reliable way to go forwards but still managed somehow. Even with these weird controls it gets surprisingly intuitive. Very cool game.

Can You Deliver a Baby in a Dungeon!? by flanne 2023-05-03T09:29:56Z

The art + gameplay + audio combo is super well done. That ending was not expected at all and was very funny. Would have loved if you started fighting it as a boss after because he refuses to pay or tries to eat you as well or something along those lines.

I'm not sure if there was one, but it would have been nice to have an indicator for when the dash was available to use, just like the baby cries when poop is ready to be thrown.

Also for some reason after I finished the game I closed it and tried to play it again but after I press play on the menu I just get a black screen. Tried deleting the game and reextracting it from the ZIP file but still wouldn't work. Either way amazing job!

The music on this one is very cool, I like how it wraps with the gameplay. Very good mechanics and well implemented. Everything comes together very well. I did have some difficulty moving and shooting successfully, maybe because the move speed was a tad too high (maybe I'm just bad XD)

I like the integration of the theme into the idle defence type of game. It would be interesting to play around with supplies increasing the amount they give you depending on how far away they are. That way you could a more complicated maze and still be playable.

I absolutely loved the voice lines hahahahaha The car was going a bit too fast but it was funny to keep hitting things just for the voice lines XD

Very fun, I think by tweaking a couple things it would be even more satisfying. I would have loved to be able to go fast and zig zag through traffic. I think the horizontal movement needs to be faster and more responsive. That way you have way more control over the car and can start weaving through traffic. Specially with the jump added later you could zoom at high speed for as long as you can handle. Also would be nice to be able to control how long the jump is by releasing early to start going down earlier.

And another little detail is that it would be great to pause the game when you are putting the text boxes. It's fine to stop the car but not stopping traffic from continuing makes you crash while not being able to do anything, which is a bit frustrating to watch happen without having any control over it.

Either way great game, well done!

We also had a team member that has a baby at home and had to come and go over the weekend. Such a shame you had to quit at the end, the menuing is cool though, would have loved to see what the game looked like finished.
