I overall liked the idea, and the visuals and sounds are pretty good. It's really difficult to guess where you have to go, and you do not have much time to find the right way. But overall a good and pretty well made jam game. Well done.
I think everybody like FPS :) I like your idea, Drop weapon to take item, and need to recuperate her after may be great idea for level design ! Simple and effective, and that fit the theme. Maybe lack of music or ambiant but the other sound was good. I had good time with it !

Gonna agree with the previous commenters, an impressive likable idea with some good game design ideas.
What I'd like to see improved tho is the wonky full screen - I use multiple monitors and the cursor seemed to escape the game screen sometimes.

Thank you for valuable feedback @sita. That bug has now been fixed.

Some of what I have seen has really amazed me what people have made during this jam. This game is one of them! How did you get this done in such a short amount of time!? I think you nailed the theme with this as well. There are a couple of clipping bugs and jitters that I noticed, but overall, I can't knock this. I think it's truly awesome
Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission. Glad to have you on the stream!
I am impressed you were able to make a well done FPS for a compo submission. Shooting mechanics and cooling towers was an interesting thing to juggle. Loved the tight corridors where sometimes it felt like you were trapped. The hand models don't really fit with the rest of the art style but its a minor thing. I had a good time playing!
I love the fact that you can only hold one object, because sometimes you just want to rush to the towers but if you do that in an area you haven't been before, there might be some enemies which will make your job much harder to do without a gun.
Pretty cool entry, the design of the enemy is sick and the mechanics are interesting. Controls are pretty good as well, and the game is very fun to play. Great job!
**Spoilers:**
~~I'm so happy that the game has an ending. The self-destruction is inevitable and yes you can delay it, but that doesn't mean you cannot make your way to an escape pod and get out :)~~
Very impressive for the time given! I liked quite a lot of things about this submission.
Things I particularly liked: - Countdown timer being increased by various things (charging batteries, killing bots) - Picking up only one thing at a time is a neat idea - Female intercom voice is a sweet polish element - Robot guys look very interesting with their square red screens - FPS in 48 hours is dope - Corridor design is awesome
Things could maybe use some tweaking: - Charging batteries imo took a little too long, i would decrease the time it takes to charge - Shooting felt not great. Not sure how to pinpoint it: could be the robots had too much health, the rate of fire is too slow, or maybe the aiming is a bit off. I noticed the shots would only go towards the cursor if they traveled a certain distance first, meaning close-range aiming would end up with me aiming at a robot and it would actually hit a dead robot on the ground instead - Map was confusing. I know its a game jam and you got a ton in already, but a minimap of some kind would have added that extreme level of polish! - Some kind of background soundtrack would have also bumped up the polish level to an extreme
Really cool game overall. Nice work!
A damn good compo entry! The movements and animations were fluid! Good tutorial which guides you pretty well! The enemy and environment models were really cool!
I am not sure if it just happened on my side, but when I click escape while in game, even though the menu pops up, I am unable to use the mouse to choose anything and had to force close a game - I would highly recommend getting this one checked!
(Also adding a jump mechanic would have made the movement feel a lot more fun :3 maybe this one is just me cause I wanted to spam space bar and jump across the long corridors :P )
I also really enjoyed the SFX! would have loved a small background score as well!
Well done! Keep up the amazing work!
Great graphics, reminds me of old unreal games. The in game instructions are nice. Shooting works fine but the audio effect gets a little bit repetitive.
Very Impressive and nice shooter gameplay! It has some speedrun potential!

Great game! I really liked the cosmic atmosphere. The voice of the announcer also greatly added to the atmosphere. The shooting mechanics are quite simple, but still turned out great. Thanks for the wonderful game!

Hello Attala,
The aesthetic and concept for the game was a really interesting and eerie vibe that I did enjoy. Great job with the sound effects and overall atmosphere of the game. I also liked the robot designs a lot. I think what could have been helpful is more clearer directions on where to go and what to do. Other than that, great work :D
I like that you got some variance into the walls and the layout of each area. Just as it was starting to feel a bit big, there was the escape hatch, so good work on the length.
Movement was good, though I kept trying to jump, because that's what I do when running around in FPS games. The enemies and combat are a good start. More variety and something to stop me just backing up slowly while shooting would be good if you decide to add more to the game later.

Scary bots. Remind me of Commodore 64 Mission Impossible.

Wow!! What an EXTREMELY good job for a comp entry!! Well done!
This has so much it almost feels ridiculous to list things that could have been better because how the hell would you have been able to add even more :D
Felt really nice! The robots gave me a good scare sometimes lol.
If you continue to work on it (oh yes, that's a good wording :b) an indicator where the stations are would be nice :) Like a little quest marker/radar and you have to figure out the rest (skyrim-ish)
The mechanic that you can only hold one object added a fun element! Maybe that would also need an UI thing in the future, pointing out the location ;D
Robots could use a bit more variety, like if you're a skilled player and manage to hit certain parts you don't need as much hits or something :) (Like if you would show how many damage a hit dealt that would feel really good I think!)
All in all very good job, hope your proud of yourself :) (That just sounded really sarcastic, lol.)

really cool to make a FPS in 48 hours!
Design is very nice over all, and it's interesting to ind your way. I agree with others that it could be a bit more varied and a bit easier to know your way around, but for the short development time I'm impressed!
Good work!
Nice entry.
I would have liked some feedback on whether you're damaging the robots, I found myself aiming for different parts trying to find the spot that would hurt them, but it wasn't necessary. Also having way of knowing how and why the robots hurt you would make it a bit more forgiving. It seemed like they hurt you if you got too close, but they also seem to have ranged weapons? It was a bit unclear.
Another thing that tripped me up was not knowing if the cells were charged or not, I assumed that since I could remove them right away, it was instant. Maybe having a text indicator showing the charge level, or not allowing the player to remove it if it's not fully charged would be good.
Overall a good game though, I like not allowing the player to hold more than one thing, it really adds to the stress.
Very impressive for a comp entry. The layout of the map didn't feel repetitive and was simple enough to navigate even with similar looking walls with just enough variations to not stand out. I would have maybe created a variation of the bot that shot at you at a distance as well as maybe a head hitbox for extra damage to give something extra to the gameplay. But being a compo there is so much you can do, very good job!

Impressive for a compo entry! It would be nice to have a mini map showing where the cells are located, and health left in the robots =)
Thank you for sharing your game with me on Twitch (MsMiaChar). Please check out my feedback at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1450602258?t=00h46m24s. I played it again off stream before writing this comment and I was able to recharge the cell a few times. I really appreciate the aural alerts when the robots are near.
Cool game! I like the voice lines and the graphics look nice for only 48 hours. The only problem I had was that the shooting didn't require much skill (even just adding head-shots would've been epic). Overall great game, and thank you for putting the green lights above the doors that actually open Lol.

Absolutely absurd that you were able to do this all by yourself in such a short amount of time.
Per your request, here's your reminder: **NEVER MAKE AN FPS GAME FOR LD EVER AGAIN!!!**
