I thought I read the instructions, but apparently I didn't (I was distracted by the high quality of the instructions poster). I still got pretty confused at the beginning of the game, but once I figured out the controls the game was fun! Maybe I should've gone full screen so the texts were bigger.

The monkeys were super cute (although they were attacking me). I couldn't aim the bananas very well so I ate most of them to replenish my health. I was able to run really fast diagonally, was it intentional?

I was a bit confused with the controls at first and made a bunch of robots and ran out of power really quickly. The game was a lot of fun after I figured out what I was supposed to do, but it was still pretty hard to avoid the meteors. I really liked the idea and the art! Impressive work for a compo =)

I really enjoyed the sound effects. It took me a moment to realize that I needed to pick up a stick before I can fight the crabs, but that was just me (a bit slow when it comes to new games). The actual game is much cuter than the coverage poster you have =)

It took me a few tries to have a better grasp of the controls and how high/far the projectiles travelled, but that was just me. The controls were simple and easy to understand. I unfortunately didn't clear the game since it wasn't until late game that I realized I had 4 ships that can be sent out without being full. It would be nice to make the green bars look more like space ships, but I also understand that this is a compo game and you only had 48 hours. Really great job overall! I really love the story and introduction! Art, music, and fonts are also spot on. At first I wasn't sure if I needed to aim at the flowers directly to water them and I spent a lot of time adjusting my position (which led to a quicker death of the poor flowers). It would be cool if there was visual indication of the watering target.

The colors and music are spot on! I think the controls are super smooth but still a bit advanced for me (I really am not great at games that require precise movements). I like the turns that trick you into a dead end but give you enough time and space to safely navigate away from the flame (great colors, again).

I really like the look-and-feel of the game. Art and music are spot on =) I was a bit confused at first with the game play and it took me a few tries to get used to the controls (the ability to jump in thin air), but once I had that figured out the game was pretty fun. The time pressure was super real (at least for a slowpoke like me) but that's so befitting of the story.

The game is super fun and definitely easier with a controller (although I only scored 3s more). I love the hats that can teleport, and the yellow hexagons (or are they octagons) that can explode, which timed at the right moment with a pulse can be super powerful (awesome mechanics in other words)! I think the movement is a bit advanced for a new player like myself but it doesn't make the game any less fun.
