wow, this is strange, and unexpectedly fun.
That was an interesting game. I think the strength here is definitely in the concept. The theme is fun, the art is beautiful, and the music is relatively jazzy.
The execution is limited in the ways a jam-game is usually limited. I think this is a game that relies on its primary loop being snappy and replayable, and it needed fine-tuning to make it feel more...crisp. I don't know if there's a better word. Just needed to feel more polished. The animation was also a little laggy for me. Plus, the difficulty ramp feels a bit off. There's definitely a lot of potential, it's well-thought out and designed, just needs better granular execution.
That said, the power-ups and theme were really great. My first game, I got immediately run-over. I genuinely laughed out loud. And, I cannot overstate this, the art looks so good! Overall, a pretty cool game!

Allright, here is a game that does not take itself too seriously!
It was fun to test our different items and see what they will do. Art fits the game perfectly and so does the music.
Movement of the units in the game seems a bit janky on my screen. Nothing major but it became quite jarring afer a while. Something that would be very easy to fix though!
That was hilarious! As a South African I am glad to see the vuvuzela represented on the big stage XD The music and sound is nice.
I think the game could have benefited from a slightly higher camera angle and controls that feel a bit more responsive.

The concept is pretty simple but I think it was executed well. I had fun. It took me a while to understand what the coke bottle power up does (reversing controls), since at first I almost always immediately died when collecting it due to being closely followed by a crowd of people. I think the crowd noises add a lot to selling the setting.
