LD47 — Stuck in a loop

a Damsel a Day by alec 2020-10-06T04:29:32Z

I really like the graphics and it feels very good to play, nice work on the polishing! I don't quite understand where the "loop" theme was, but anyways great game!

Djinn Alwaqt by JohnDaivisse 2020-10-06T04:35:27Z

I really like the idea of the game, it has powerful "ahh" moments, the puzzle design is really well done. I think it's really hard to understand how the djinlings work, it's not really clear, maybe if they had a trail or a shadow following them it would be easier to understand. I kinda feel lost in the levels, maybe a toggable birds eye view or minimap would help, as the level is confusing because of the perspective.

T O R O I D I R by Charlie Hall 2020-10-06T04:27:55Z

Feels very smooth, took a while to understand that the color changes when spiraling all the way in. Also I like the idea of being able to choose between starting white or black. The keybindings feel a bit awkward

Looper by Shortbread 2020-10-06T04:52:09Z

Really really really nice game! Very nicely polished, feels so good to play in general, when grabbing stars, finishing the level, changing loops, etc. Really lovely. Maybe it's because I need to git gud but some of the first levels feel a bit hard. I'd love to see this game for mobile tho

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Monster journal: a short story by Fenderbate 2021-04-27T04:57:17Z

THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING, the sound design fits so well. It's really hard but i like that, my finger hurts so good :B. Love it<3!

Georgina and the End of the World by Rainsong 2021-04-27T04:14:12Z

ABSOLUTELY THE CUTEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED, but i think the game is a bit broken. You can spam spacebar to progress through the dialogues and skip the entire game.

Deep Wild Trip by Ignacio Lorda 2021-04-27T02:40:47Z

I like how despairing it feels as the levels get darker, along with the eeirie athmosphere the music sets. It maybe would've been a bit more fun if you had kind of a hint of where you must go, maybe the left overs of a wrecked path or smth.

Descension AI by Chrispy977 2021-04-27T03:40:41Z

Wow! Really liked it, really original! My wrist would've appreciated if you could hold click to shoot, but it's ok. Also I think some enemies are hard to see given the ammount of objects and lights in the scene. really good job!

I like the mechanic of trying to kind of balance yourself in the screen with spacebar, but it's really hard to understand what to do even if you read the tutorial. You dont associate what attack you must use with every spectre, and maybe i'd put the attacks on arrow keys so your left hand isn't overloaded.

Love the athmosphere and the controls feel so smooth! <3 Great job <3

When I grow up I want to be like Carlitos

Hard Times by Rojoin 2022-04-05T17:46:16Z

I really like the overall mood here, the environment and the animation of the enemies combined with the music really set up a cool athmosphere. The gameplay may be a little bit rough but the idea is clear and maybe with a little more polish you could make this an awesome experience.

Some things I'd adress: - It would be nice to have some kind of tutorial, specially for the controls. I didn't know I had a dash or a sword until a few minutes in. Also, it would be great to be able to change weapons using number keys. - The sword attack is a bit clunky and has some delay until the animation plays, I think that can be a bit uncomfortable. - I don't know if this is my PC specifically but when I change resolutions I can't go back to the original that is set when launching the game. In adition, I'd like to have greater resolution options; every option I tried seemed to fell below the one of my screen (1920x1080).

Great job here guys!
