Hey hey hey, it's an ***amazing game*** :) I loove the aesthetics. The gameplay was fun, it reminded me of World's Hardest Game at times (maybe that's just me).
I think I found a *bug*, tho:
obraz_2020-10-05_201503.png
After I reach the black dot, I'm teleported to the other end of the line, pretty much skipping the whole level. And not only this level. You can do that in levels **13**, **15** and **17**.
I wasn't able to beat level 18, but I had fun during the whole game :)
I loved this game! This feels like it could be its own thing!
@suchista Thank you for letting me know! It has now been fixed :)
Really polished, love the effects and cute aesthetic

Between the music, the clean feel, and the feedback when you get the stars, it felt a lot like one of the smaller Nintendo titles. I think the aesthetic with the cutout lines makes me remember Snipper Clippers, even though the gameplay is different. The controls were a little weird, with "Z" being a little harder to get to for switching loops or confirming things than something like the space bar, and I felt like it was easy to overshoot where I wanted to land, which is deadly with all those spikes, but I had fun, and like the concept!
Really really really nice game! Very nicely polished, feels so good to play in general, when grabbing stars, finishing the level, changing loops, etc. Really lovely. Maybe it's because I need to git gud but some of the first levels feel a bit hard. I'd love to see this game for mobile tho

Amazing game! really clean style. Is very fun to play, and looks very polished. Congratulations for a great game!
incredible i would play this as a full game!

This is such a fun, cut and chill game! I love the clean style, the up-beat fun music, how smooth the controls are, the whole idea itself! Great work!

Very very very interesting.
The images are very good and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Wonderful game. The music and the graphics combine to make a relaxing experience. The amount of polish is amazing! I hope you release a full version of this!
This was a wonder to play, my mind was blown when I got to the sixth level where you had to switch loops while the moved and turned, that is really clever.

The game is fun and has a nice level progression. The music and art stile made me relax while playing. I was a bit confused why i had to use "Z" but i figured you have a different keyboard layout than me, and since it was the only button it didn´t really matter.
Woooah, that's a super polished game. Quite incredible for a jam. The music, the UI, the graphics, everything is fine. My brain had some difficulte to adapt to the "left/right" concept on loops, but it's my brain, don't worry about it.
I would really play a longer version of this game, with some different mechanics. One of the best LD47 games i've played so far.

Interesting game. Very clean in all areas. Some levels are truly challenging. I enjoyed this one!
Very cool puzzle game also very happy upbeat music (it was a tiny bit loud though) The usage of the z key felt a bit strange to me (especially in the menu) but did not stop me enjoying this game
Way more polished than any jam game I've seen, did you make this solo? Unfortunately level 8 was extremely frustrating so I couldn't get past it.
This game is suprisingly polished for something made in a jam! The game looks and sounds amazing, and the puzzle mechanic is very interesting too. The only issue I really faced here is that it's super hard to know just which side you'll be rotating towards, as it's not always something that is very intuitive for our stupid human brains. Not too sure how you'd fix that though. Another thing (that is fixable) is that the spikes are pretty unpredictable in their movement, often killing me without me knowing they were going to go that way. I'd much prefer if they were set on a set trajectory, like a straight line or a circle which they move along. Other than that I had a great time puzzling this game out, I'm impressed by what you've done in a weekend. Good job!

I had a lot of fun with your game. Devilishly simple in concept but astoundingly fun.
Really cool idea and very good graphics! The music is a great choice too. I have to agree with other comments here, the main problem I see is that it's really hard to know which direction the circle will go when pressing a key after changing loop, it becomes really frustrating when you have to chain multiple moves pretty quickly. The tension is absolutely up the roof x) Great entry!

super polished for a jam game, one of the best in the jam ive played so far, even though this game had such a chill and cute atmosphere it had me raging for some time, definitely can see this on mobile.
@suchista I'm super glad to hear that! Yes 18 is bit of a jump, I'd ran out of time and quickly tried to put something more expansive together.
@aimainiac Thanks! Hopefully it will! @twoscoops Thank you!
@testuser I am very honored to be compared with Nintendo's level of quality, getting this on switch would be a dream come true!
@juan-garcia-jousset It does have a semi-steep learning curve, but its hard to find a balance between too challenging and not enough. With more time I'd probably have added a couple more beginner friendly levels, thank you for your kind words!
@azagaya Thank you very much! I tried to keep the design as simple as possible but not boring.
@freddyturbina Only the future will tell, thanks!
@tamail I think the chill factor depends on your success haha, thank you!
@dyguests I'm very very very happy to hear that, thanks!
@geryon-games Thank you! There are quite a few requests for more, hopefully I can deliver!
@gamepopper Thank you!Your mind is going to be even more blown away when you see them morph into other shapes
@clode Thanks, yes this is an issue I didn't think of until later, I'll add a fix as its a fair significant accessibility issue for many people.
@chocolat-endive Super happy to hear that! Thank you! Hopefully others will think the same!
@jvolonte I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the challenge, cheers!
@aterlamia Thank you! Yes I could probably turn it down a little
@jake-white I'm honored, and yes I did! Btw there is secret key on the keyboard to skip levels
@virtual-turtle-studio Thank you so much! The movement of the dashes (the flow) of the loops is there to indicate which way you will move when pressing the right arrow key (left to go opposite) though it isn't as clear when they're also rotating. The spikes do have a set movement but its rather complex (using overlapping sine waves) so its harder to predict but not impossible - however I may adjust this in future versions or make two versions of them.
@adiwan I can tell you it was far from devilishly simple to get working! Thank you!
@lucien-catonnet Thanks man, it can get quite intense! PS: see my reply to @virtual-turtle-studio regarding the loop direction (though yes I agree it could be improved).
@gonzalol I can't ask more than that! Super Thank you!
@beats Thanks! I'm glad to you like it so much! The combination of rage inducing challenges with a chill atmosphere is something I seem to be drawn to.

Very nice and relaxing entry! I'm a big fan of the design and bgm. Very good game overall! I do have to agree with other comments, that it's not always clear in what direction the player will go. It's great nevertheless.

Beautiful game. Just nice to stare at a level move around. Really satisfying. Great collection of sounds to accompany the gameplay. Like a wii menu gone wild. Thanks for this.
Very solid entry. Not sure what else I can say, the mechanic is interesting and perfectly executed, music is chill, and level design is spot on. Enjoyed every level so far :)
Really clean, minimal look you've got! For some reason it kinda reminded me of the Untitled Goose Game's aesthetic (even if there's no geese here). The controls were a little awkward on keyboard, but that's not really surprising. I think it would play fantastically with an analog stick on a controller so you could tilt in the direction you wanted to move, though. The levels were enough to keep the game interesting, though the movement of the stars/spikes feel a little too unpredictable when combined with the moving paths. Overall, a really pleasant experience though.
Best game of this jam with lots of potential
good enough to get a official launch on mobile and steam

This is what a high quality LD entry should look like! It's quick, easy to learn, simple yet fun, and most importantly it is polished so beautifully. I had a feeling like playing some full-time developed game, not a game jam entry. 5* for innovation from me, as it really caught my interest.
For now my favorite ld47 game. Cool idea.
Consider doing a mobile version, please! I will definitely download it!

This is an amazingly smart gameplay mechanic, and it feels rather intuitive to play!
#### Great stuff - I love the art style and simplicity. - The logo alone is an art direction masterpiece. - the music is also entertaining and jaunty. - I love the learning curve how your movements become more and more intuitive
#### Things that would make it even better: - probably if you're cycling from the top of one loop to the bottom of another loop, reversing the winding direction would feel a lot more intuitive and lead to fewer deaths - the collision detection is a bit flaky, as in, it could be more forgiving.
Overall one of my favourite titles so far, and that opening screen alone is incredibly nice and cute.

This is a very good game! It's one of the most polished I've played so far. The graphics, music, mechanics and level design fits together and create an unique and very enjoyable mood. Great job :)

A wonderful game, really! The artstyle is very clean and the difficulty raises in a good manner. Although the level 4 is significantly more difficult that the next levels
Amazing entry. It feels incredibly polished. I love the simplisitic and intuitive gameplay along with the responsive controls. Level progression feels really nice too, as you're slowly introduced to new gameplay elements.
Sometimes I had some trouble figuring out which button would push me in which direction. I know that the direction the lines are moving is tied to it but especially for rotating loops this was hard to see sometimes. But I'm nitpicking, this is a really great ganme!
wow this is so insanely polished! Got too hard for me towards the end but that's fine :) It was enormously fun to play.
I love the art direction and overall presentation, and how well it goes along with the music! Great level of polish, the game idea is fun, but can get frustrating at times as you keep retrying, because the level start/waiting time after death is a bit high. I feel like the control scheme is a bit counter-intuitive, because you can't figure out the flow and predict the direction you'd move towards on switching in a quick and frantic game like this.
But aside from that, incredible work! One of the best entries I've played so far.

Just WoW! Your idea is excellent! And the quality of the final game is awersome!
Congrats on making this game! Awersome entry
Probably the most solid entry I've played. Amazing graphic style and overall really fun. Really well done. :)
If I was to nitpick, the only things I'd like to see improved would be possibly a slightly slower movement speed for my dot (I often overshot where I wanted to be) and maybe a bit of feedback when I've connected to another flow and my switch will work. Very small things though, great job.

2020-10-08 17:45
Very well done! Great art direction and solid game play mechanics. The pick for your background music was also spot on. Good choice. I really do like skill based games like these but had some troubles with the difficulty. Firstly, the acceleration of the player character was too fast for my taste. It was hard to really control it in tight situations. I don't know if it's due to my framerate (144fps) or if it's by design. Secondly, it wasn't clear to me, which direction my bubble would go when pressing left and right. Sometimes it's reversed and that leads may lead to a swift death. Combined with the speed of the bubble it got really hard to control it.
Other than that, very well made. Very polished. Good job!
Great job making this game! It is aesthetically very pleasing! And though the mechanics are simple, the game can become quite difficult at times (which is a good thing).
I love this type of game! Great job! It was very entertaining and the difficulty curve it's on the spot for me! I would download this on my phone and play a lot! Also, the game logo is very very cute! Great job!
Nothing much to say about it honestly, it was on point on everything. One of the best presentations I've ever saw in any LudumDare edition. Everything looks very polished and well together. The theme approach is also one of the most creatives ones, and all of that with a very fun game to play. Perfect! 10/10! Congratz!
Absolutely incredible! The only game Ive given a 5 in graphics so far, and I cant imagine how you got some of these visual effects to work. Great job, and such a wonderful game for a jam!
Extremely well polished pretty much done game, amazing job! My only thought would be to perhaps make level name pop up shorter on replays, I'd consider only showing the level name on only on the first go as on multiple level replays it I think it needlessly slows down the gameplay. Loved the visual aesthetics, the sound design is nice and crisp and the music fits the game. Congrats, best game so far!

Fun gameplay cool minimalistic art, the music is also on spot
@woergbi Thank you!
@eldogg I didn't realise at the time but does sound a bit like that  Thanks!
@bigwhiteshogun A very solid thank you!
@guitarbro Its the flat de-saturated colours, a few games are using that style these days. Good idea for the analog stick control, that could also work for mobile (with virtual stick). I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@pradhuman I really hope so! Thank you!
@iluvatar Wow thank you so much!
@mustafa-cetin Awesome :smile: Thanks!
@thygrrr I'm super happy you liked the logo! (That took far longer than it looks) Yes I feel there could be a bit more leeway, but its hard to balance between different skill levels. Thank you very much!
@meadjix Thank you!
@quyndred Hmm perhaps? I've probably played it too much  Thanks!
@captainproton42 Thank you! Yes the rotation makes it quite hard, I'd probably change the dashes to be more arrow like in order to solve this.
@rebecca-harrison And an enormous thank you for playing!
@pranjalbisht I have to agree the time to retry after death is quite long, I'd probably halve it now. Thank you for playing!
@yulia-li Haha I do apologise, thank you!
@vivoubos Thank you for your awesome comment!
@elemental-zeal-game-studios Thank you so much! I actually had some mechanics for changing speed but didn't get time to put them in
@los Thanks man!
@duke Thank you! A few people have commented on the speed, I don't think I'd change the maximum speed but probably reduce the acceleration.
@gamedev-and-architecture Very pleased to hear that! Thanks!
@mariana-mattevi Thank you Mariana! I'm glad you like the logo and perhaps one day you will!
@orlandobatista I'm honored, thank you so much Orlando!
@gentoogames With a lot of stress and late nights  Thank you very much!
@mackandrius Thank you Andrius! The delay on replays is something I would change as well.
@mkraw Thank you!

Very fun game. Loved the graphics, loved the puzzles. Took me forever to beat level 18, I feel like the overlaps in that level weren't very clear. Overall great work, definitely one of my favorites so far!

2020-10-09 06:55
Yeah, I totally did not spend 35 minutes on level 18. Love the aesthetics! I wonder if gamepad controls would be better, the majority of my mistakes were due to left/right direction confusion. It works better over time since you gain muscle memory, so I guess it is fine.
Here is my playthrough:
https://youtu.be/s6aHzGt5avQ
Really good game, feels so polished and complete. It was quite challenging to press the right direction, especially after things started to rotate, but always felt doable. I loved the music, felt kind of procedural :)
Great game. It's perfect. :0
Beautiful piece of art. well polished.
Really cool game! could definetly be released with some polishing and more content. gj

This game is visually stunning, i saw you in the feed while the jam was on and wanted to play this at all costs! You managed to create something beautiful with few elements, but a lot of little details that make it so alive. I'm in love with this minimalism. I also loved the rainbow "particle effect" for the start and especially for the success screen. The idea is also original and on theme, and the music fitted the atmosphere, enhancing the mood.
That said, the dot is very hard to control. You say move in the direction of the loop but: 1. the direction is there but not truly visible, it not stands out 2. besides, even if it was more clear, it's hard to move in the proper way nonetheless, especially with all things moving around. I found myself just pressing left and right until it was moving where I wanted 3. the dot maybe moved too fast too soon
This ruined a bit the experience for me, since it's all so chilling and cheerful, but then the levels are so unforgiving and require too much precision. It's sad but I quit on level 10 for this reason, I wanted to complete it but was too frustrated.
Dont' get me wrong, this was amazing, the polish of this game is insane! Awesome work!

Nice game pretty hard too ! The nicest thing you could improve is make the respawn instant after a death and so show the name of the level only on load and not on dead.

Beautiful aesthetic, so well put together it's impressive. Actually I saw you post on Twitter and it inspired my entry even though it ended up very different. Well done. Thanks.
Very nicely done. It feels a lot like a platformer, no? Quite unique, with a great aesthetic and fun music (that could stand to be just a bit longer, given how long the game can take to beat). It makes you wonder: why have platformers historically been satisfied just going left and right? Why not go all over the dang place? Some notes and nitpicks:
* I really appreciate your giving the curves a direction and having the player move with and against the flow, rather than trying to establish a concept of clockwise and counterclockwise. It means you can always just look at the curve to see which arrow to hit. * It can be tricky to tell exactly when you're close enough to another curve to transfer to it. Some kind of graphical indication could help or, better yet, the ability to hold the button to transfer the next time you're in range of another curve (with logic to prevent immediately transferring back, of course). * The wiggling spikes are definitely fun in some levels, but the fact that they wiggle in all levels adds to a general sense of imprecision. * The acceleration is sometimes super helpful to gather up a head of steam and squeeze through a tough spot quickly, but it's maybe a little much: it can be hard to make small adjustments.
All in all, a very clean entry. Thumbs up!
It's a really strong submission with cool music, stylish art and smooth difficulty curve. The only problem I faced is that it's not very clear when I can swap the line, it need some additional indication.
One of the most polished entries so far! It is flawless in every aspect. Great job!
Looks nice, and really well polished. I didn't like unpredictable movement of obstacles, it feels a little unfair to die because they unexpectedly changed direction, but maybe it just me. Good work!
Amazing level of polish for a ludum game, first game i see a stage select in. Controls feel nice and audio is also very nice. Well done!

Really good puzzle! Great job!
Very nice, One thing I did find a little odd is that you couldn't click on the UI with your mouse. Very Nice Game though!
I doubt you need more feedback than: add some levels, put it to mobile phones and you'll be rich.
Okay, maybe not rich, but at least get some popularity and money :) Overall is scope of Jam one of the best 'production ready' games. Additional respect for this beauty itch page :)
Very nice. I struggled with orientation for every game that had movement on loop. I see you tried to solve that with the - - - - direction, but on spinning objects it was still a struggle for me. Not sure how to fix that though, maybe I should just git gud lol
Great game. Probably a winner ;)
Very nice graphics and music. The game overall is very well-made and has a solid coherent theme. However, I didn't find the game very fun as I struggle to comprehend the movement. All the spinning was far too hard for me to grasp sadly. Especially when combined with the movement of the obstacles in the game.
Impressive game, everything felt very polished ! probably the best I've played in this jam so far ^^
Great Job! Everything worked together, nothing was out of place or felt unfair. Very polished
This is probably my favorite use of the theme thus far. The aesthetics and polish is amazing for a jam timeframe. Looks like it could be released on mobile tomorrow. My only nitpicks/suggestions: go down on the acceleration just a touch, and I don't know if it would help orient players, but maybe have a small stretch color on either side of the player to inidicate what direction they will go in with what key (so right key goes toward red side, left key towards blue, for example)
But honestly overall one of the best of the jam I've played so far. Great work! (Also please teach me your itch page making ways)
This is such a perfect use of the theme. The ramp up between levels was very well done and the graphics were perfect for the game. This seem like the type of game that everyone would be playing on their phones during a college lecture. My one critique would be to not show the title of each level each time you restart the level, this might just be because of how many times I had to restart but I became frustrated with waiting for the level to restart.

This was a cool game. The aesthetic and music were just so pleasing. The puzzles were great as well. However, (and this might be just me....) it could be very annoying when you end up going in the direction you didn't intend and it's rather easy to get confused due to the nature of the design of the levels. Still, it might just be me but it was very frustrating when it happened. On that note, the level design is really good and well thought out. This is a very great entry.
Do you plan on releasing source code? Really curious about the way you implemented movement along lines.
I have nothing to say! Simply amazing! simple, fun and challenging. Everything a game needs.
I loved the music. Who did?
Congratulations!

Excellent game! Really well thought out puzzle designs, excellent aesthetic, and that music was so calming (reminded me of the Nintendo vibe). If I had to suggest anything it would be to shorten the restart time when you die, but other than that great job!
This was a simple concept well executed! Great scope for a game jam! Loved the aesthetics! Very Wii-like!

This is just.... this is just excellent. Congrats, amazing game you made. Theme ON POINT, art ON POINT, gameplay ON POINT, hate to say it, but this is a super winner! Like damn, not even something grand and epic, just a tight and concise experience that delivers. Bit hard though, but I kept trying, its a fun and challenging game.
So again, Bravo!
Awesome game, pretty simple and good graphics, very clever idea, interesting levels and well done audio! Good job!

really perform well!
Positive - The theme is very well exploited - the sound design is very cool - the design is simple and effective. - the finish is crazy - art works very well
Negative - Slight float on the hit boxes - the movements are sometimes counter-intuitive by changing the loop - and I quibble, but the character can die directly at the beginning of the game (without input from the player), followed by the change of the loop shape. (see level 8 for example)
A really impressive project, bravo.

This may easily be my favorite game of the jam. I loved everything of it: the graphics are amazing and so clean, the music slaps and the level design is superb. Apart from the little key bug someone already mentioned, this game is just awesome. Good luck!
Congratulations, this is beautiful in every aspect
AAaaaa this game looks soso beautiful, really fun tu play, goes perfect with the theme y the music is great to put you in the mood
I can totally see this as a trending game por mobile phones

The best game of this jam I've played so far. For the sake of criticism, I will say the abstract gameplay can have some odd difficulty spikes and some weird difficulty scaling in general but apart from that, this is extremely solid. (also some volume options would have been nice)

Digging the Yoshi's Island vibes!
Nice job, really gives me Nintendo vibes with the music and graphics style. Very simple but well polished!
Amazing. You thought of everything. That splendid title screen animation, too! That level-select screen, completely hidden the first time around, but still there and gorgeous and with fitting graphics!
The controls were perfect, responsive, unambiguous. They could be frustrating at times because they're not what we're used too, but the usual control scheme of loops is weird and ambiguous, I like yours better and it was easy to pick up.
Superb game, a masterpiece among HTML5 games, even more for a game jam. 18/5 ⭐
Wow, Impressive!! Really hard game for me. Presentation is perfect. On full screen the performance was a little degraded (Firefox Ubuntu). If you die a lot (like I do) the title screen gets a little annoying. Great job!!
I love where you took this theme! and I love the aesthetic as well! This is already polished enough to be a mobile game thats for sure. Crazy that this was done in such little time.

Very good presentation. An apparently simple idea that is well executed. I do wish retrying after death would not go through the whole level transition though. Instead of insta-death, you could also count the number of pricks the player hit and have a 'par' system to unlock further levels.
Controls can be a bit confusing, even after you realize Right always goes in the direction of the track, it's hard to readjust your brain when you switch, thus you are always on your toes after each switch. I would try to change the player circle into a form that has different front and back, so that you have an additional visual clue of the direction of your vessel.
I suspect this game would work very well with Pong-style paddles!
AMAZING presentation. And the main mechanic and level design are on point as well. Over all great game ^_^

Really clever mechanics, well polished and fun game. This is simply 5/5, well done!
Oh wow, love the Mini metro aesthetic! This is such a polished entry, with interesting levels and a good core puzzle mechanic. I'd be curious to see how you extend on this and add more mechanics. Not much to say in terms of feedback, appreciate the amount of polish put in. Really good!
This felt incredibly well polished for a jam game. Love the visual style, and the itch.io page is also really nice. The game itself fits the theme and is pretty fun to play.
Good job :)
Super well polished, looks like something that could be sold straight away on mobile with some more levels and some monetization :D
My only gripe was that only cursor keys were supported and not WASD :P
This game looks and feels so great.
The only problems I saw were:
1. sometimes, moving to an end of a straight line would teleport me to the other end 2. it was hard to move between some short lines in level 18, even more because of the bouncing when we hit the end of a straight line.
Other than that it's almost perfect and I agree with the comment above: this has potential as a full (probably mobile) game.

Nice entry! It is a very polished game! You can even publish it on mobile! I don't know if it fits very well with the jam theme, but it's a very good game overall! Nice job!
I really love it :)

Great game, like it a lot! But maybe you could add some sort of live system - having to replay a whole level might be a little tedious.

Cool games dude.. :P
Best itch.io page design I've ever seen. Haven't even played the game yet!
Absolutely beautiful visual design. ❤️ Controls are tricky, perhaps you like that, I really struggled. Would moving in the direction you're holding make it too easy?
Really liked this one, felt like it could be a full game. Great presentation overall. I struggled a bit with the controls but after a bit you can definitely get used to it.
