Great visuals! The animations and map popping up feel great for this kind of exploration game. I didn't quite get why I was a cupboard though :D

Great visuals! The animations and map popping up feel great for this kind of exploration game. I didn't quite get why I was a cupboard though :D
Looks amazing! The characters and furniture bouncing in the room gave a nice atmosphere. The game transmits perfectly the feeling of power after landing successful hits on the bar and it feels very rewarding.
Great entry!
Very well done! Love the progression and having my minions moving around! Got 6th on the scoreboard, but still need to unlock some minions. Will keep playing a bit more. Great game!
Innovative! The commands mechanics is interesting (Thought I was on some kind of development build at first)
As you said in one of your comments the delay is too aggressive and makes commands a bit of a pain. With some tweaking it can get to some really good place though!
I like the visuals, but without more information it's hard to tell what's going on.
From what I understood you get gold each turn that you can use to improve your territories, leveling them up lets you have a bigger army, training an army gives you soldiers and defending improves your defenses to avoid being invaded. Now, to attack and occupy other territories you must have an army bigger than the defense of that territory, right?
Awesome models. The polished look of them all and the environment really sold this game for me. I liked the little quests, left me eager for more :)
Very well done. The options felt original and realistic, way too realistic maybe. It was fun, I enjoyed this approach to the theme ^^
Didn't get why everyone was crying :( but the parrot is cute. Nice interpretation ^^
Excellent art and audio. Wish there was something else to click apart from the main idol. Like little idols that pop up and you gotta click them before they vanish, but overall great game, very polished.
What a captivating atmosphere! Water and islands graphics are on point. The audio gets you into this calm and smooth sensation while sailing. Outstanding work!
Great job on the graphics! It could definitely get to a more polished state easily with some tweaks on the speed and on the colliders. I like that you die if you choose no points on health ^^
What an awesome atmosphere! Loved the characters, the music and sounds simply sell it to me, very well done!
Outstanding! Loved the art. Great work on narrations, combat mechanics are on point. There were even puzzles! With a way to get them solved if you couldn't. Truly amazing work, congratulations!
I liked the powerups and their pun names. The music fits so well with the movement of the game I found myself going up and down to its rythm! Well done!
Cool idea! I liked it. When I read the controls were ZQSD I thought no way, how am I supposed to move? Luckily arrow keys worked too :P Is there any way to get new patients once they get full health?
Original. Great art, audio and mechanics! Heartwarming ending :)I had fun but most importantly, I loved the sugar dude's face ^^
Nice tongue-hook mechanics :P Great art overall, the animations are really good! Good work!
Kept me playing for a while! It has more depth than what it seems at the beginning. I liked the pixelated faces with messages :)
Cute and original! Nice entry
Oh boy the visuals! What an astonishing game. Great atmosphere, gameplay was entertaining and everything felt truly polished! Great work guys
Excellent art. Unforgiving wasteland, I like it. Nice take on the theme. Did the parts, armour, weapons and mobility help in any way? As in help on the resolution of an event? If I encounter a fight and had armour will I take less fuel damage? It was the only thing that wasn't clear for me. Apart from that great work guys! ^^
What did you just bring upon this cursed land!?!
All right, let's play this weird game. -Oh! A grape, let's pick it up, eat the grape, what a tasty grape. Here, you can have some too my friend. OH MY GOD I'm so sorry I didn't mean to take your scalp off! Here you can have it back, what's this? BRAINZZ, here have some of your own brains too, do you wanna try mine?
Great artstyle and audio.
Minigames are fun and the game overall looks pretty polished! Nice job, I liked the artstyle :)
Great idea. At first I was like... why is he walking backwards. Oh waaaait. Nice take on the theme :)
Nice graphics with plenty of mechanics! Pretty cool :D
Very good mood. I like the experimenting. The art is an excelent fit with the music, and the customers 'hello' is a great touch.
Wish I could do more with the dishes. Great game, good take on the theme :)
@fc85057 "I canβt recall a game with such a mechanic." - We can't either! When we thought about it we weren't even sure if it was gonna be fun. A way to exit, an hour display and a less abrupt way to end the day seems like good additions. Glad you enjoyed it! ^^
@matchaflavor Thank you!
@mikew Thanks! We aren't too fond of making "tutorials" and we wanted the first days to be kind of an introduction to what you can do without guiding the player.
@firebelley Defintely! We tried to keep the day short so there was no need for something to do while the day goes on. If we had to entertain you with something to interact then it means the game was not actually that fun. We thought about finding spare change or things to tap while you wait but discarded it because of the reason above and time (of course ^^)
@lamossus A way to see your shop and stock while you plan your loop would be useful indeed. The idea of the clients was to guide you a bit on which ones were coming but leaving the amount and time they come randomly. Maybe it was too much! Thanks for your feedback :)
@shortbread Haha! working on retail memories? Thank you for the kind words :)
@bot12313 Thanks! Did you unlock milkshakes? Miles Jake only wants milkshakes, if you didn't purchase them or are out of stock he will wait near the fridge until they are restocked or leave.
@castrolol Thank you :)
@iron-leonem Oh it definitely needs some work on design. Being the developers + lovers of hard games it was particularly difficult for us to balance it. We tried to tone it down, but it seems it was not enough! That and reaaaally little time to play test it ^^. Optimizing is fun indeed. If we make an update I will keep this in mind! Thank you
@koolruz Glad you liked it! The cashier lets you charge two customers at once. We had it at one on the beginning but it was waay too punishing and charging them all seemed too easy. The original idea was to hire more people and customize their loops too! It would have been too much though! Glad we didn't in the end, but I might consider it for a future update. Thank you!
@mcovert Such is the life of the loop-e-mart clerk! I see what you mean. The difficulty curve is steep and as I said previously we tried to tone it down but it still needs some tweaking!
Great game. Solid in every aspect. I enjoyed it!
The input feels awesome. Great take on the theme I liked it!
Interesting game. Very clean in all areas. Some levels are truly challenging. I enjoyed this one!
I like the art, music and overall mood of the game, great job on that! I might be missing something but I ended up being stuck, had not enough length to reach the fish and not enough coins to purchase more length
Loved this one! Great dialogues and mood ^^
Very spelunky-like! Even with the difficulty. I like it. Art and animations are on point. There's some issues with the rope from time to time where you warp through walls, once warped out of the map :(
But overall really enjoyable. Good job
Art is superb. Very clever design. The sword feel, the heaviness. It's just right.
Great work, I enjoyed it ^^
Good game. I liked the exploration, once I got to the 4th planet area and asteroids were going everywhere it got pretty difficult. I also liked that you get new abilities when you reach other planets
Plenty of games with the concept of digging but this one executes it just perfectly. Well done
This is nice! Clever stuff ^^
Hey! I liked the managing between going to farm ores and keeping watch on the drill part. The character's beam looked nice too.
What I liked the most was the exploration part, looking for ores. I was a bit disappointed to see ores don't deplete so there's no need to go search for more.
I know you opted out of Audio ratings, but I'd like to add that music does wonders for games. There's plenty of free tracks available. Try to get some for your next game!
Cheers!
This is the kind of weird shit I expect to play on LD. Great work.
Hey, this game has a good idea! I like the animal robbers art.
It took me a bit to understand what could I interact with and how did it affect the policeman, but once I did I got the robbers in and out ^^
Very clever! I liked it ^^. Almost gave me a heart attack the first time I ran into a spike
Very interesting mechanic! Loved the whole idea and the mood, music and sound effects were great too. Didn't expect to see unit variety, so that was a great surprise!
It is great that outer slots decay first, so you can sort of build the way you like and protect important buildings. I'm having some issues to place the slots exactly where I want them but I guess it adds more to the chaotic nature of the game :stuck_out_tongue:
There is lot of possibilities to expand this game, from terrains with effects to more unit and building types. Hope you keep developing this one! I enjoyed it
Very polished and relaxing experience. Good puzzles, great input feedback. The only thing I can say is I wish I could go to the next level with a key like spacebar (if there is one I couldn't find it).
Overall, great game! I enjoyed it :)
Very cool, moving through the rope was pretty hard for me but loved the feeling of the slash attack. The mood was great.
I enjoyed this entry, cool stuff
Loved the art and the mood the game has. Wasn't expecting that many animals so that's cool! Once I got into the cow and ostrich area I felt like I was walking in the wrong neighbourhood :joy:
Great entry!
Incredibly addictive! Great entry, very polished!
Very well done. It was ineed a bit creepy, but I loved it. The way it captures your attention is very effective, a great experience overall
Loved the art and the palette choice. The edge grabbing mechanic felt great  Good entry, I enjoyed it!
Great entry! I enjoyed it
Great take on the theme! The art is amazing, the mechanics are well thought.
I found it a bit hard at the beginning to grasp the swapping and the combos and couldn't make them as fast as I wanted to, but eventually I got a bit better with practice ^^.
10 seconds is a really short window and this game exploits that very well. The difficulty curve gets interesting after a few levels which is great too.
Solid entry, very polished! Thanks for making this!
Cool game and very clever mechanic to keep an item through the loop! Learning through the loop reminded me of twelve minutes :)
The mood was amazing, it looks polished and the difficulty of the puzzles was just right, the 10 second span and character's speed allowed to try enough combinations of items to not make it frustrating to have it reset that quick.
Great entry! I enjoyed it ^^
Very polished I love this kind of games with a base, single scene and a couple things to interact. I think they are perfect for jams and you guys nailed it! Loved the diversity of birds and the mood of the location :)
Love the art, great take on humor Gary sounds just like your average customer support guy :joy: Very polished, I enjoyed, congrats for the entry!
Great idea and execution! Loved the twist at the end :joy:
Good idea for the theme! The game is well put together and very engaging from the beginning. I was not expecting the gun :joy: Great entry :)
Love the idea of the game! Got to wave 8, I just wish I could play for a bit more before the darkness consumes me. Nothing that can't be tweaked with some changes on the numbers though! Great entry :)
Cool game, expected the smuggled packages to progress the story in some way towards an ending. Didn't notice the smuggled packages were not resetting my timer till it was too late
Great entry! Very cute art and smart gameplay. I enjoyed it :)
The voice acting and humor are spot-on, making everything feel perfectly natural. It's a great compo entry! The dorky demon is a real treat, and the attention to detail, like the stars. I actually felt bad for poor Henrik :joy:
Awesome job, always a pleasure to play your entries!
The pixel art is beautiful, especially the characters and the mood of the town. There's so much variety in both heroes and enemies!
The game feels well balanced, and I found myself getting attached to the characters and feeling bad when one of my best heroes die.
One thing I'd loved to see is more agency in party formation. Sometimes the swapping wasn't as beneficial as I hoped, and I'd end up with healers on the frontlines. Maybe I am missing something?
Overall, this looks super promising! I really hope you guys keep developing it or exploring this idea! Great job!
Adorable! The creatures are just too cute, the design for the four different gladiators is spot-on. Loved the sound effects, especially with the dialogues. Drawing those shapes feels very satisfying, though I did struggle a bit with the triangle. Other than that, fantastic job!
One thing I really enjoyed was strategizing which gladiators to pit against each other based on their skills. Adds a nice layer of strategy to the game.
Overall, great work! I enjoyed it!
I loved the pixel art! The movement and animations feel very satisfying; everything flows smoothly. Great job. About the story I was like NOOO WHY WHOULD YOU DO THIS OMG I THOUGHT THIS WAS A CUTE STORYπ Thank you for that ending! :)
I love the whole rune-drawing thing to summon soldiers, the blood looks REALLY good, it's a unique twist. Discovering new runes and summoning different units keeps it interesting. I was missing a couple runes the firsts levels and I was surprised with myself that I couldn't think of other shapes to try! In the end I think I got'em all but not after quite some tries.
It wasn't always clear to me which units were best against others. But hey, maybe that adds to the fun of figuring it out, right? Overall, solid job on the game! It's got potential.
I'm impressed! So many different and beautiful designs for the creatures. The game explanation was super clear, and the interface was a pleasure to navigate.
It also feels like you've nailed the balance, played for a while and everything seemed fair. The only thing I noticed were trolls cost 6 and only have 1 HP and low stats, maybe this was intended to be the other way around? Or maybe they are just trolls :P
Can we talk about those cards? The visual and sound effects are spot-on for them. I also liked the humor in the card descriptions!
As I played more, I started to realize I was planning my next turns rather than the one immediately coming, which is always a sign of a great game.
Overall, fantastic work! I really enjoyed this entry!
Beautiful spectres designs, I love dice games! Great mood too :)
Grids? Crafting? Discovering new recipes? I am sold! The pixel art is beautiful, the mood of the game is very well accomplished.
The energy mechanic where you place stuff to gain energy and lose it when the chasm expands is genius! Really clever design choice there!
Thank you for making it! I enjoyed it!
Thank you everyone for the nice comments!
We really were aiming to try and make a unique combat, with all that it entails, making it interesting, explaining it without being annoying, keeping it fun and allowing player agency. I can see it might get slow specially when there are many enemies, but as usual we were too ambitious on the scope and time for balancing was scarce
Thank you for making that video @100th-coin, after watching it I can see the balance of those combats is way too hard, but I am glad you could enjoy it nonetheless!
The card designs are cool, I love neighbour rules :) and the wiggly text was a fun touch.
I would love to be able to take my card back but I understand coding that could be a lot more work for the jam
I got a little mixed up between 'sacrifice' and 'burn.' They seemed to overlap but also not? A bit more clarity there could be awesome. Overall, great entry! Thank you for making it!
The mechanic is interesting, unique and it matches the theme well. One thing I thought could help speed things up a bit is showing the key for the fingers over them, and maybe always indicate which shapes match the elements
Overall, though, I think you've got something really attractive here. It's definitely worth exploring further. I enjoyed it!
