I didn't know what to expect from the limited info supplied, but wow did it blow away those expectations I didn't have. This is my kind of thing. The little 'twist' was well handled. The graphics are top notch and fit the game really well. The audio was great, and really set the tone. I had fun, and it turns out I'm a great friend.

Fantastic really. There's not much to say other than that. It would make for a great online experience if there'd be someone else playing the other character. If I have one complaint it's that it might have helped a bit if the game hid the mouse cursor since it didn't match the position of the hand exactly. The most beautiful cannibalism love simulator I've ever played.

Well that was weird. I HAD to seek this game out after seeing the progress keep popping up on twitter, and i wasn't disappointed, it was as confusing as i expected. damn if it doesn't set a mood though.
It all started out nice and calm... then I accidentally ripped the top someones head off and started eating their brains. This escalated quickly...
I will call this an experience and not a game. There did not seem to be a way to win or lose. The artwork and sounds were great and it gave a very interesting mood, at first it was tranquil and then went dark but with a happy vibe. Overall weird and different, which is what I love about Ludum Dare.
I don't understand how you came up with this idea. Unfortunately I saw some spoilers before playing the game but still the sound effects and the atmosphere when interacting with the characters was just bizarre. I feel uneasy but I gained some new experiences.

I love it Ditto, you did it again! This game is a real expression of love -- I have never felt so intimate with an NPC before. I wanted to explore everything in the scene, and I feel like I haven't found half of it yet.

What is there to say about this...thing? The presentation is very fluid and professional, and very interesting and creative. I'm not a 100% sure whether it captures the theme, but at the end of the day that's not what's important. As some other commenters mentioned I feel some Salad Fingers in this entry, all that childhood trauma welling up again :sweat_smile:
Since it's not really a game it's also not really fun, but it sure is a very interesting and creepy experience. Really like those "ehh..." sounds and discovering new stuff I can eat/feed. Good job on making something weird again Ditto.

Ok, There is already a loott of review here so i think you pretty get it already. This game is awesome! weird, but awesome! The sounds are kind of cringy(this is a compliment) and the game just plays really nicely. Maybe some of the hitboxes could be increased as i struggled to grab some of the "things" This is experiment like those that makes video game progress as a medium. keep up the good work!

This was a weird experience. I love it when a game works very different than others and is able to surprise you. Everything fits well together, i especially loved the animations and the anticipation-"voices" when you pick up something edible.

Oh my god! This is so weird but so fun! It's probably fun because it's weird. I like it! I was able to appreciate it even more than the majority of LD participants because I am Swedish. "Ge mig!" :P Anyway, this is of course not filled with activities. It's more just art, and for that, it's amazing. I could see someone like Vinny/Joel of Vinesauce fame playing and reacting to this. This is good stuff.

What an amazingly visceral experience. I don't think I've ever been as creeped out from a game as when I accidentally ripped out the other person's stomach.
Unique interpretation of the theme. Controls, physics and graphics make ripping out your friends entrails truly satisfying. The exotic atmosphere combined with mechanics which subverted my expectations resulted in an interesting playing experience.

Didn't find it to be that interesting. The animation in it is good and it all looks nice but as far as being disturbing goes it isn't even as shocking as the Torture Chamber games. The threshold for grabbing things is also rather small so picking things up and plucking the flies is especially annoying.
Still good and certainly worth looking at.

OK so I guess we need to add another category to the ludum dare rating system: WEIRDNESS. I was simply cherry picking those lovely grapes and suddenly I cut off the forehead of that guy. OMG. My personal interpretation: the way we are producing and consuming food is not healthy and we are eating ourself because we are not thinking of the consequences of our actions. We like that and we are blind to a brighter future. We need to step back and reflect for a moment regarding our relationship with the nature. I don't know this game makes you think. And what about this wonderful smooth animations and sounds? Really good entry.

This is it: the weirdest entry I've played so far. Not sure it's "good" or a "game", this entry sort of defies categorization, which is awesome in its own right.
I loved everything in this game, mainly the juiceness behind the picking and eating ...
The UX of picking and eating is a bit hard to manage, maybe and auto aim interpolating the hand towards the closest grabable surface would be nice, the sensation of being behind a glass watching those guys eating each other is freaky.
I would bet in maximizing the feedback of your actions, maybe turn the eyes back as close as there's no brain left, some sliva running off the corner of their mouth, maybe tears running off their face, some food splatts over their chests, dirtying the teeth....

It's definitely a weird game! I found it a bit hard to big thinks up, since the hand moves to the mouse position, so you can't just move the cursor on to a grape to pick it up, you have to move it slightly away from it and hope for the fingers to grab it.

I liked how it looked relatively normal on the surface, but it was possible to "accidentally" find some of the secrets of the game making it feel very natural to [SPOILERS] the ending was the icing on the cake where you have [SPOILERS] that was really funny.

I've always liked games that produce moments of discovery. Here, I have discovered something I did not expect, and cannot likely forget. I suppose being unforgettable is not a bad thing when trying to craft an experience.

Awesomely creative experience ! Interactive at heart, and letting the player figure out what he wants to take out of the game...really love what you did there. The art is inspired, the experience is really responsive, and the sound design is successful in creating this eerie mood. What I loved the most were the varied and surprising interactions, that turn your experience into an enjoyable game. Awesome work !

So yeah, I really don't have much to say about it other than that it was super cool. The only thing really I can critique about was the fact that the hand grabbing point wasn't at the cursor position. If the cursor wasn't visible, it wouldn't have mattered but now it made grabbing things just more confusing. Other than that, everything was top notch. Looked awesome and sounded superb.
Had to go for a second run to see if there was a different ending. By the way, there is at least one brain piece that isn't edible.

I gave the bits to my brother, the buzzy bits are his favorite, he loves the buzzy taste as they fly around his tastebuds. I was shocked to find my brother was keeping my secrets from me in his stomach pocket, but in our family, we eat our mistakes, and brother was especially hungry that day. He’s not as fast as he used to be, but he still loves the buzzy bits.

If Radiohead made a game! Loved the characters and the way they react to mouse movement. Just enough "shock and awe" value to get people's attention and stand out which seems to be really valuable in a game jam. Very strange music which helped sell the disturbing vibe. When I fed a grape or an apple and listened to the satisfying sigh I felt satisfied. If you continue to develop this, when I .. . fed other parts, I felt disturbed.

One Concept I Liked: I liked how the graphics, the audio, and the gameplay combined to produce a creepy surreal mood.
One Concept I Disliked: A problem that I encountered while playing the game was that sometimes I was not able to select something even though I was using the mouse correctly.
