Loved the combination of 3D and 2D note-book drawing style! I would love to see multiplayer if you decide to continue the development of the game. Great job!

Loved the combination of 3D and 2D note-book drawing style! I would love to see multiplayer if you decide to continue the development of the game. Great job!
Very clever that you start with no life. You made good use of the theme. The graphically you went simple and polished, which worked out great. I like that you added the detail of gravel flying off while running on the dirt. Great job guys, you should be proud of what you were able to create!
Great job, I enjoyed the fast pace, it just had a good juicy feel. I would love to see more, and be able to play it with friends if you keep developing it in the future!
You've really created a fantastic mood here. I felt very nostalgic playing this game, as the soundtrack made me remember an old space CD that I used to listen to when I was little and the aesthetic felt new and familiar at the same time. I would love it if you expanded on the lore of this game if you guys keep developing it, I would be interested to know more about the robots and where they came from etc! You could for example find discs with recordings that would tell you bits and pieces of the universe. Good job, I hope you're proud of what you made!
I really love the aesthetic, great job! If you continue developing the game, I would love to see more lore in this game. Like a bunch of books/papers on top of the ghosts that give you small hints of a bigger picture of the world. As a little reward after getting over an obstacle. I really enjoyed the obstacles you made, hope you're proud of what you made in this short time!
I am so impressed that you made this by yourself! it has a great feel to it when you play and the atmosphere is cozy. It's great that you keep progressing and it is rewarding to find new weapons/armor. If you continue developing it, I would love to see some puzzles as well! Would be fun if there was a way to outsmart the wizard sometimes so you didn't have to pay life to get deeper into the dungeon as well!
I really loved your use of the theme here! It was really clever and I would honestly like to see you guys keep developing the game. I loved the idea @squaredev said, that would be an awesome addition in to a post LD version! Great job guys!
I loved the aesthetic and music, good use of the theme! It just felt refreshing and I would like to see more of this. If you continue developing it, it would be awesome to be able to grow out the forest in defensive ways, such as placing out bushes full of thorns and such. You did this all by yourself? Great job, you should be super proud!
I looooove this game, such a simple concept which just works so well. I've been playing it for a while and am very hooked, trying different tactics, of course getting farther than my brother above ;)
Amazing job, you made something really fun!

Fantastic game! ****SPOILER(ish) BELOW****
I audibly screamed! I actually feel a bit raspy in my throat now, thanks! Seriously I loved the experience and it reminded me of the same feelings I got when playing Penumbra. You built up the atmosphere very well and I thoroughly enjoyed it and like so often with Ludum Dare, I wish you were given more time so we could have an 8 hour game of this, although I'm not sure I could handle that much screaming.
Two things in life are inevitable, taxes and being hungover getting falafel from a food truck. Loved the game, it was fantastic. We can all be the vomit wizard sometimes, the difference here is I don't want to forget this experience :) Great team effort!
@renge Thank you so much for your comment and kind words! Really appreciate it! <3 In a way they do reward you if you don’t do harm. A spoiler: if you don’t harm crows or rabbits, you get a different ending
Brilliant game! I may have played it for an hour and just couldn't complete it, but had lots of fun! Felt like I was in a saloon, great job team!
What a robolicious puzzle game! I love the art and the music is amazing at setting a cozy mood, it's just solid, very well done through and through. Great sound for the teleportation too, which is important when it's something you'll hear a lot, and you aced it! It was great to see how happy the little robot got every time you completed a level.
Oh and one last thing, you really aced the pacing of the difficulty, it got gradually harder in the perfect way, kept being challenging and engaging while you kept getting better.
Fantastic gamae! Got to 6 minutes! ....On my second try. First try I immediately did the demon star just to see if something would happen and oh boy did it haha! Very fun to run around and try to discover new spells. Great job to the team
Amazing game, I seriously had so much fun! (Especially impressive as a single person effort) I didn't realize you could just change the camera angle until i took the very last sandwich in the laser level which MAY HAVE made it a little more of a challenge, but that's on me for somehow not registering the second instruction into my brain!
Really good humor, the visuals looked great and were clean, I really enjoyed the whole thing and now I'm gonna treat myself to a sandwich, oh, and hey Timmy, good luck out there!
I absolutely love that you have a map editor, the art is fantastic and puts you perfectly in the right mood to crawl through some dungeons, definitely a game to recommend and a bonus if you have someone to play with and take turns to create maps. Great job with making an all-around fabulous entry!
Awesome game! It was a lot of fun and the theme was spot on. If you keep developing it, it would be so much fun with a multiplayer option in the future where you can sabotage eachothers castles
I did it!... But bread can find another planet :( ...Without me? Never! I'm still on the screen at 10000 meters and counting. I don't give up on finding where my toast went.
It was a fun game, I wen't from confused to addiction within 5 seconds.
"Oh come on it should count that the baby touched the tree even if the bird died!!!" This is amazing, jam-packed with frustration followed by dopamine. I love how much you did with this, it seemed so simple at first and all of a sudden I was completely drawn in, making the rope longer and shorter while trying to ignore the fact that I've accidentally slaughtered millions of little rudebear babies. Also love the artstyle, it's refreshing and clicks well in my brain.
This was fabulous! Wonderful throwback to old adventure games. I'm a huge lover of point and click adventures, so I was happy to find this.
I enjoyed that there were post-delivery completion dialogue, the art-style was lovely as well, very cozy and welcoming. Would be fantastic if you guys made more with this post jam.
Oh and please send my apologies to the mermaid for staring!
This was fantastic! Incredibly impressive compo entry. That you managed this alone, in such a restricted time is a fabulous feat. The gameplay was quick, responsive and just plain fun. I feel bad for the cats, but I like how the gameplay mechanics were introduced and I loved the detail of adding a post particle effect on the pigeon. Applause!
Whoever said witches don't contribute to society?! Working hard over here, but I guess I always have the day off if I work during the night..
Wonderful game! I love how many different mechanics you fit into it, with the limited time - especially considering this is a compo entry! The mechanics were also well explained and the art was very cute! It is very impressive and shows that this isn't your first (broom) rodeo!
I am the gull queen! Hush peasents, present your beach-snacks and the food that's cooling on your balconies! *Cough* What I meant to say is I loved playing through this game, it has a great atmosphere and there isn't anything that's gonna piss europeans off as much as taking their livers.. "Have fun not drinking anymore". Oh they're dead, aren't they?
I really love you guys went weird with it and I thoroughly enjoyed that ride!
I had so much fun! I mean please remove my drivers license (In game, of course... I don't have one in real life.... Which after this, thank god, imagine the deaths).
I may have caused havoc all over town, but you'll have something to read about in the papers tomorrow in the very least.
The graphics were cute, clean and consistent, the driving felt like punching in your sleep in the best way, I want to emphasize it's a good and comedic thing, but it's the best way I can describe it.
A real romp, if you keet developing it, it would be a lot of fun to get the police chasing you while you go about your deliveries for all the damage you cause during another day of your 9-5.
This is fantastic! Oh man am I lucky there were no other drivers on the road, I was merciless out there. I can't exactly explain it, but this game makes me think of the old Kings Quest games, the medieval magical vibe, the fun texts at the end, bright colours, fun, and just gives you a happy feeling in your stomach.
I played this for much longer than you could imagine, I thoroughly enjoyed it! This game really.. Delivers!
BASTARDS COME BACK!!
I loved everything about this game. The scope was beautifully handled, you have a very good sense of which building blocks are important to finish a game and where to allocate resources, which is also appropriate as you made a resource-based tower defense!
The colours you picked were great, they added a lot to the atmosphere and mood, music was great as well. The addition of jumping between the surface and the spaceship was a fantastic addition that did a lot in regards of adding a sense of scale. It's hard to describe it, but it did a lot for the feel.
I managed completing the whole game in the first try, much thanks to reading your tips prior to starting the game, I know I would've perished otherwise as I'm always greedy in these types of games and start with resource gathering.
Gameplay, story, art, music, it all comes together. Cannot emphasize it enough, you've really made a balanced, great, complete game which is really enjoyable. All of it is extra impressive considering you did all of this yourself during a compo, applause, applause, and more applause!
Moo moo baby!
The "moo" soundtrack caught me off guard so hard! Hilarious! Loved playing through the game. Clean consistent art, responsive movement and enough of a challenge to make you fight til the end, but not too hard so you give up, so a great balance!
I'd also like to think they were all cardboard cows and no moo-moos were hurt in the playthrough
SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE BURGERPOPPER! Amazing concept, I had a lot of fun, the animations and general vibe were hilarious! The boss coming at you was great, until he fired me - bastard, I had so much more to give this wonderful company..
I hope you guys make a post jam version, I can totally see the vision here and the game concept allows for so many additions, I can already see the ketchup/mustard bottle grenades! This could be a brilliant multiplayer game, where one guy is making the burgers, sending them off to the guy shooting them, and then it's just a beautiful play of "Please make them faster they're coming for us" and "Please don't miss, I worked hard on it!". Bravo!
I love anything raccoon themed, immediate clicked when I saw the thumbnail! The artstyle is great and cohesive, sounds were fitting and great, the game listens to the theme and it's immersive. Fantastic jam game which is ready to be built further!
I love this! Anything pirate-themed gets me hyped  Water controls can be really tough to get right, where it feels nice to move around, and it felt great here, fabulous work with that! Caught the theme well with the bathtub too!
This was really moving, while also giving me a laugh!
Fantastic job creating this great cathartic experience in a couple of hours late at night after a weekend of frustration.
It very much encapsulates the emotion of LD, when it doesn't go as intended. Playing this I could not help to think about when this jam hasn't gone my way. I thought of LD49, where everything that could go wrong for us, did go wrong.
In the end we pushed out a product that, while I didn't love the game we made itself, I was proud of actually getting something released.
The endurance is what makes a game developer. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but thank you for pulling through and releasing something at the end and reminding me of how much this process means to me.
I treasure this hilarious game! I had so much fun playing it, what a wild ride.
What a one man army to make a game of this caliber in such a short time. The graphics work well, contrast between the colourful environment with the cutout paper characters just looks fun and add to the comedy wonderfully, great voiceacting and writing. I also can't stress enough how the pacing is perfect.
I'll remember my journey from my first suicide to levelling up fondly.
Wonderful game! I will never say no to a final stand, or a chance to sing my swan song! I love how many different tactics you can create with the available options to summon. I really enjoy the tactics involved when trying to use the foliage to your advantage, while constantly being surrounded. :deciduous_tree: :crossed_swords:
The music is enjoyable and adds suspense, the sound effects are clear and help you keep track of what's going on, neither of them overpower eachother.
The artwork is effective at conveying what you want it to, while looking good.
If you keep working on this game, it would be awesome to see you play even more with the foliage affecting the combat, both to your benefit and detriment. Such as setting logs on fire, or using bigger bombs that create holes where the enemies fall into and die, but you can't collect their souls! Lots to play around with when you have a great core game such as this once there is no time restriction for development!
Thank you so much for this entry, I loved it!
(Sorry @simon-rahnasto git gud)
hiscoreLDJAMgame.png
Fantastic game! It was both atmospheric and hilarious, that's not an easy combo to pull off!
I loved walking across the bridge with inflatable demon arms dudes, getting ambushed! The big eye-guy was fantastic. Great voiceacting, enemies, music and selection of weapons - what's not to like?!
Thank you for this entry, it was a *blast* to play! :smiling_imp:
I'm incredibly fond of your game! I don't know why everyone seems to immediately try to kill antler-man, (Just wait until you see multi-face-bear-guy) I guess game-developers have a low survival instinct :map:
This is a brilliant callback to trial and error adventure games that I adore. I hope you don't end up adding lots of hints in there like I see discussed in the comments, as putting the time in and figuring it out is what makes the game!
There is absolutely more than enough in there (There is even a sign with an arrow, come on people, stop complaining!) for you to figure your way through the woods, and it being very rewarding, making you feel good about making connections. If you are lost in the woods, you don't get any hints handed to you, I know because I have been, haha! :evergreen_tree:
The artstyle is wonderfully simple and effective, you don't need more to sell the feeling, and the impersonality of complete contrast adds to the feeling of hopelessness which you must fight while trying to figure out the puzzles.
Thank you for this game, glad to have played it!
What a wonderful game! I'm addicted to an 80s Arcade bar in the city I live in, so this is right up my alley! :alien:
Record chasing in combination with the responsive controls is what keeps the dopamine flowing and the game pulling me in round after round.
While it's brilliant the way it is, it's also an amazing game to keep working on too. With no time limit you can explore minibosses along the way, spellcaster enemies, treasure levels in -between rewarding you with extra combos (Think hitting the car in street fighter, but a treasure goblin).
The artstyle was exactly what you'd want from a game like this, and the sound effects and music blended right in to make the perfect atmosphere, brb getting a soda, popcorn and jumping back in!
Great job!
Victoria! 27 speeches might have been a bit much, (I do be yappin’) but can’t blame a royal for adressing her subjects!
LUUUDUM DAREEE
DEUS EX MACHINAAAA
Made me laugh!
Great take on the theme! I loved the art style, and visual perspective. The voice acting was really great as well!
I had a lot of fun playing it, before I knew it I won. While this might be societal commentary, my main takeaway is that perhaps I could be queen one day?
I keep coming back to check on your games each time around!
You are such a one-man army I love it. You absolutely outdid yourself on the music, it slaps so hard.
Great puzzles, humour, art, theme, this has it all - and I hope you win!
Thank you for participating with another awesome game (Or maybe I should thank the Dissonancer for stealing the parrot and making all of this possible)
Amazing and relaxing! The atmosphere was brilliant, the music and lights really built a vibe where I just wanted to stay in the game. Visually I adore 3d-2d combinations, it works very well here. As stressful as making a LD game can be, you used that to make a huge stress-reliever. Great job to the whole team <3
Image 12-10-2024 at 13.30.jpeg
Loved the game! Played until my screen was lagging too much from the vast quantity of lil guys on my team
Awesome retro graphics, I enjoy the visualized upgrades and just the general satisfaction of sending a full army towards some deer.
Fantastic job all around!
Hell yeah, this was fabulous! I’m impressed by what you’ve all created!
Specifically Langotriel: The shift from script and sound to full on coding is impressive, and it's so cool to see you bring such an interesting world to life.
I hadn’t done music or sfx before this LD, while LD is the perfect opportunity to, it’s a bit intimidating to jump into without any prior experience, so I can only imagine how it was for you!
The voice acting was great, and experience-wise I love the blend between colorful curiosity and consequences of messing with nature.
You should all feel proud of what you have achieved here, and I am excited to see what’s next for the entire team!
I'm so happy I found this game! I adore dungeon crawlers and this is a great one, with a good take on the theme, while the art and audio set a fabulous mood.
What a fantastic effort making this game, with so many variables to add while you progress which you've put together on your own, absolute legend! The combat made sense immediately and was fun. The regenerating enemies were quite tough on my first go, which encouraged me to try a different build which was great.
Thank you lots for the entry!
We really were the tiny creatures all along, weren't we?
Wonderful game! Fantastic effort in such a short amount of time, I loved the last games you've made so I had to find out what you've made this time around! I enjoy the way you make games, and the way you're allowed to figure things out. I dislike long drawn out tutorials. Love the oldschool art and animation style, I appreciate the details like the wheat grains disappearing when harvested. Thank you for the entry <3
Wonderful game, I'm so glad I found it! The art was great, the music was fitting, it's great that you had so many music tracks, the gangster track was my favourite.
Also, this is a surprising description of my day job, although I did end up being fired here so I don't know what that says about me!
PS: I love how all the workers come in at night to rest, it warms my heart <3 Awesome job to the whole team!
This was wonderful!!
I kind of lost track of time after starting with this game, and I enjoyed every bit of it! The fabulous voice acting had me laughing, and the art is well done and just enjoyable to look at while you toss around critters being uncertain if you're the good or bad guy.
Thank you so much for this game, awesome job to the whole team
I really feel like this game gets me. Love the cutout vibe, the animation game on the confident walk was strong. I also am fond of the fact that whenever I died it just threw other encounters at me, and it didn’t just have a set path.
Thank you for making something different that made me feel something.
Also I enjoyed the credits picture, good job team!
"Don't kill me"
Sorry 'nome, I wasn't the one who put an axe in my hands.
The voice acting made me laugh, it was fabulous! I had a lot of fun playing this game, I think it's what I needed after today. Again, sorry to all lil dudes (And bird-dudes...and giraffe-dudes..dogs...) harmed in the playing of this game. Thank you for making it!
I absolutely love this game! It's so different to anything else I've seen or played on here. There is such a fantastic foundation to build upon for a later full release.
The in-between window movement is brilliant. The art is wonderful, great audio, and the vibes are cozy.
Oh and the upgrade shop was super juicy!
Thank you so much to the whole team for participating and making this game, absolutely a gem!
Treasure map game siblings! :two_hearts: This is amazing! Solving other players treasure maps is brilliant!
The art is fun and looks cool, I enjoy the water animation. Overall the game is just refreshing, clever, and most importantly fun!
I would love to play it multiplayer as a party game with friends.
I did it!
Loved this game! Where do I start? Everything fit well together, the visuals, gameplay, and audio all function in harmony. Which maybe shouldn't be surprising when you can make such a fun game where you solve clues by getting things to work together at the same time like level 4, that's when I really went "Ooooh"!
The soundtrack doesn't sound like the soundtrack to the old Yoshi game for N64, but it triggers the same part of my brain when I listen to it.
I think you balanced the amount of levels you had time to do very well difficulty wise. There was a clear progression and I felt clever each time when I solved the puzzle. Very fun!
Thank you for this submission, absolutely up my alley :hearts:
slingshot.png
@simon-rahnasto just above recommended I try this one! We both grew up playing many racing games together, such as SW pod racing, this definitely scratched that itch! I had a lot of fun playing it, if you continue working on it, it would be great to have a multiplayer option with the possibility of interacting with the other player in the air. A kind of race to the bottom where you can do foul play
It's a game that tickles your imagination, you just start building a world around the character in your head based on the guy and the environment you find yourself in. The atmosphere is fantastic, swooshing in the caves felt fabulous.
Great job with this one
I’m a sucker for arcade games, thank you for creating this baddie! The feedback is satisfying, immediate and smooth!
I enjoy that you had time to create different types of obstacles. The visuals are nice looking and sell the arcade vibe well, while also being appropriately high contrast to decipher obstacles quickly. Awesome job all around!
I can never back down from a good arcade game! I really enjoyed playing your game, great job :D You especially never disappoint with the audio - the voiceacting and music kills it like always. The music also getting more hectic was a nice touch!
I enjoy how the old school screen effect really sells the arcade feeling. I also think the comment section high score is clever!
PS: Oops Simon!
thedrop.png
I always look forward to seeing what you end up making! I enjoyed it a lot and feel like it could be developed into such a cozy iPad game.
Maybe it’s the old school waves, dice, board game vibes, but it really feels like a digital version of an ancient game that I’m figuring out with some trial and error. You really sold a nice experience and with good vibes.
Also, I really enjoy color coded games, it just immediately makes sense to me.(The plants are great too!)
Awesome effort, thank you!
I love arcade vibe score attack games, and this was a wonderful one! I really enjoy how intuitive it was to shoot up or forward depending on if you were touching the surface of the water or not. Perfect arcade logic! You had time to do a fun variation of enemies, especially seeing that you only had a day to do it! It all came together nicely!
If you keep developing it, I would love to see other levels with enemies shooting from below as well, to play on your concept - just adding yet another level of "AAAaaaahh!! They're coming right at me!"
The best result that I could manage below
