J'adore le jeu il est trop bien vraiment bon travail on ne s'ennui pas du tout juste quand la boule est bloquée

cryptomnesic 2022-04-05 16:05

This is pretty good honestly. Would make a great one button mobile game if the physics was tweaked to speed things up a bit.

minusc 2022-04-05 16:11

Idea is awesome, but it's quite hard to get the bowl to the end, especially the second part (after the three swining doors), with the one up that must synchronize. Movement of a ball are too chaotic to control it smoothly. But anyway, great idea, really fun, looks awesome, and music is quite cute !

krzyhau 2022-04-05 16:19

Pretty much pinball mixed with rage platformer vibes. Very addicting, but I wasn't able to reach the end - I'll try to come back to it later. Visually it's pretty but the music gets annoying over time (considering the type of the game it is, it's natural). Honestly, kind of lazy approach with the theme, but the theme itself doesn't leave much room for creativity, I guess. In general, nice work!

polymathld 2022-04-05 16:20

This is such a neat idea. Physics platformer plus pinball? Yes please. Also really enjoy the wild west theme and all the art that goes along with it.

I played it for quite awhile, but did end up getting stuck, unfortunately, and wasn't able to finish. One thought I had was that given the Wild West stuff, it would be really neat if you also could use the mouse to shoot the pinball to apply physics forces mid-flight and move it around. But really, I'm probably just bad, haha.

Great work guys!

ben-newington 2022-04-05 16:21

Great game ! the art is fantastic and I really liked the idea. Only suggestion is to randomly vary the pitch of the sound effects by a small amount each time they are played. It can sound a little odd hearing the exact same sound over and over. Good job !!

roruke 2022-04-05 17:22

As a fan of pinball and Wild West Theme, I was really drawn to this. I wish it was a bit more faster so it feels as desperate as a real pinball machine. It was still satisfying to play, great job!

vitor-milioni 2022-04-05 17:29

@cryptomnesic Thanks! I was thinking of porting it to mobile so hearing that actually makes me very happy, thanks for the feedback!

@minusc thanks for the feedback too! It did end up a lot more rage inducing than i first expected xD but due to the time constraint i chose to embrace it :p, hope you had fun!

@krzyhau yeah, the music became a bit repetitive, it was done last minute by my friend to save me from having a silent game xD I wasn't too fond of the theme, yeah, but i felt it was a great change to reimagine an old arcade game since those were pretty much all about delaying and not really winning :p thanks for the comment, it means a lot!

@polymathld Thanks a lot! I was in a bit of a cowboy mood this weekend xD Shooting the ball would actually be thematically fun if i could make it work around the pinball platforming, what i originally wanted to implement was a button to shake the screen a bit, much like you would shake a pinball machine when the ball got stuck :p unfortunately didn't manage to get that done in time, but still, i'm very glad you enoyed!

@ben-newington ahh, now i'm hating myself for not thinking of this, you make a very good point thanks, i'll try to implement this in a future version perhaps. Hope you liked it!

kita 2022-04-05 20:23

I like the art, maybe it would've been better to "zoom" it more in so I could enjoy it more? haha. The sound design was also quite nice, though I feel I'd have much more fun if the game was a little bit faster... Still overall great job!:)

mrpouletbzh 2022-04-06 08:42

Nice little game from you guys, I like the idea of a "rage game" using flipper mechanics! The main problem I had was with the gun part at the beginning, where sometimes there was a really long time to wait before we could have the opportunity to hit the ball, making this part a bit frustrating. Overall I think I would have like the game to be a bit more "speedier" (having the flipper part - I don't know the exact name for those things sorry :x - raising up more instantly). But despite that still a pretty sold entry, with a nice concept and a funny settings, overall a good job from you guys!

bassilij 2022-04-06 09:11

Very cool atmosphere. It is difficult to bring the tumbleweed to the end!)

vitor-milioni 2022-04-06 15:07

@kita i'm glad you enjoy the art that much, you should definitely consider following our artist on his socials, he's amazing! I initially had it more zoomed in, but it was just too hard to see you sorroundings like that so i had to zoom out a bit. Thanks a lot for your comment!

@roruke @mrpouletbzh thanks for the feedback, apparently the consensus was that it should be a bit faster xD i tried to prioritize the platforming instead of the pinball aspect of the game, but i should have prioritized it so heavily, thanks a lot for sharing that, definitely something i'll keep in mind for this project!

niklas-zhaga 2022-04-06 15:33

:smile_cat: Damn it's hard! I've never seen before such mechanics, rate 5 for innovation! This game would commit perfectly at 41st ludum with theme "Combine 2 Incompatible Genres" :smirk_cat: Anyway, in this theme, it's is abolutely inevitable that tumbleweed will fall into the desert, I already experienced that many times :smile_cat:

And yeah, art is also great, I like that style :sunglasses:

frozenfire92 2022-04-07 02:11

What a good entry! I love a good pinball game and enjoyed this take on it. The physics were fun, but that level was quite hard :joy: I tried for quite a while but ultimately raged out haha. Keep on making games \o/

sarah 2022-04-07 02:18

So far this is one of my favourite games I've played! I love how the mechanics work together, and I've actually wanted to build something similar to this in the past! (maybe we can talk more xD)

As hard as it was (cause im bad at everything) I was able to get a little bit of the way through, but I would definitely play this game more, and play more levels of it! The art is really cute, and I definitely get those pinball machine vibes from it. A screen shake to help move the ball would also be a really cool feature, especially if it was on mobile and with real motion!

I think this would play really well as a mobile game overall as well! I'm really impressed with the level of polish, nicely done!

sourdoge 2022-04-07 05:46

Difficult, but pinball mechanics are a favorite, so I enjoyed this one. Made me think of Yoku's Island Express pinball platforming. I also liked the Saloon theme! Good work here.

apostle 2022-04-07 08:57

really interesting idea liked it so much, unfortunately i couldn't get to far, but it looks very good. You have done an awsome game)

sofignedova 2022-04-07 12:16

Great concept, idea and mechanic connection! I will be happy if the developers complete the physics of this mechanic. I think it will be a lot of fun to play!

Special respect for the visual!

p.s: It is a pity that I did not pass the place with a gun

flyingkaida 2022-04-07 13:20

THIS GAME IS TOUGH, either that or I'm bad at pinball... probably the latter lol. Great concept and put together so well!!!

vitor-milioni 2022-04-07 14:07

@frozenfire92 thank you so much! I wanted to adjust the physics a bit but i like how it ended up at least, thanks a lot for the encouragement, it means the world to me

@sarah Wow that's super high praise, thank you! Hopefully in a future version the difficulty curve will be a bit smoother xD And yeah absolutely, we can talk anytime, feel free to send me a message wherever! Thanks a lot for the feedback, i also had a lot of fun on your stream and with your game!

@sourdoge Oh wow how have i not heard of that? I've got to try that one out, looks super fun and is on sale rn xD Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing and for the feedback!

@apostle yeah, it ended up being a bit harder than intended, but i decided to roll with it xD i'm glad you liked it though, thank you for your words!

@sofignedova Haha yeah, the physics came out a little wonky, i want to complete them for sure, i'm glad you enjoyed the visuals, we had a lot of fun making it with that theme, thank you!

@flyingkaida It's tough even for me xD i spent hours testing it and it was still super difficult to get to the end on the final build to make sure it was working properly lol. But what matters is if you had fun, thank you so much for playing and for the comment!

belle 2022-04-07 19:31

Brilliant game! I may have played it for an hour and just couldn't complete it, but had lots of fun! Felt like I was in a saloon, great job team!

doot 2022-04-07 19:48

Nice job!

I loved Yoku's Island Express so I like those kind of games ✨ Visuals are nice, controls are very intuitive. As other said games might be a bit too hard, but mostly too frustrating due to large spaces with no bumpers where you just have to wait for the ball to live its life.

Great job and thanks for the game 🤠

flogames 2022-04-08 21:39

Cool idea using a complete level as a pinball table! I'm not very good at this, though. Twice I got over the revolver part, but mostly due to luck, I don't feel like I have much control over the movement of the ball. Checkpoints would have been nice to reduce the frustration. The western theme works well and I like the small scenes populated with saloon folk. A fun Idea: what if they reacted to the pinball in surprise, etc? The cheesy music fits the theme perfectly, but it gets a bit annoying after a while.

macaroni-dev 2022-04-09 21:41

Loved the pinball mashup. It made the game super approachable & chill since it's no biggie if you lose your ball - just go again and have fun.

Dunno how others got past the revolver portion, but I held one paled up and let the revolver build momentum until it could pop up for the top paddle to slap it.

dreamscale 2022-04-10 07:31

Normally I hate pinball, but this was actually an enjoyable take on it! I think there could be more gravity/weight as there are a couple annoying parts(like the gun) where you're stuck waiting on the ball for a long time, but otherwise this plays pretty well! Would love to see a full game of this.

krzyhau 2022-04-10 18:23

Came back to it, managed to finish it, and I'm glad I did, because the large flipper part is pretty innovative! Again, good job!

his-games 2022-04-13 08:35

The physics annoyed me. It felt too bouncy and floaty at the same time. I still had a blast in spite of this though, and it was a cool mechanic. Definitely tweak the physics, give it more weight. My only other gripe is that the theme isn't anywhere (as far as I can see). Otherwise, good job!

cary-stanley 2022-04-15 19:56

Wow!! Pinball really fits the Theme!!

I'm not a big fan of pinball, but I love the graphics and personality in your game!

Awesome job!!
