Interesting experience that's for sure! It plays real smooth, I like the waggling animation of the little gnomes, really well done!

I don't know what the heck I just played, but I liked it
Nice, I liked the jumping animation and the gnomes head twisting, otherwise wasn't creepy/cringy enough.
+ The bow behaved weirdly when walking (which I guess makes sense) and was overall hard to aim/ see where the arrows went.
+ It was hard to melee the small gnomes (crouching? would help), but that's maybe just because I'm not used to attack down / small things.
+ Sometimes it was a bit hard to see if the gnomes were dead, when they half fell over and spent some time searching / wondering if I missed or didn't finish one.
+ Why was there no option to pet the animals, normally I don't like it but it would be perfect here.
@zwartraider @dooskington thank you! Glad you liked it!
@ellaris thank you for the feedback :D
* Agreed. The bow doesn't behave how I want it to behave, and I spent over 6 hours trying to implement it properly with no success. So the current bow is the result :') and that's also part of the reason why there's not more content and in-game storytelling. * The axe head comes down a little bit in front of you, so it could be that you were standing too close. Or too far. I agree that it's hard to tell where to hit exactly. * G'nomes that started ragdolling are dead. If they're still standing up straight and/or "walking" around, they're alive. * ... well... those aren't the same g'nice animals that you think they are...
Why don't you seat on my lap?
what the hell did i just play XD fun game!

That was g'nice! It gave me a few big belly laughs actually.
It watched the Dungeon Soup videos after I played and it made alot more sense, but honestly the game stood on its own without the context.
Looks great, smooth as butter and hilarious. Thank you.
Hahaha, I love Dungeon Soup so I really enjoyed this game. The voice lines were funny, not for what they said, but for the fact that I imagined you awkwardly recording them haha! I'm not sure if I've seen a fan game before as an LD entry. Definitely not for a YouTube animation series. Anyway, good job!
@sheepolution honestly, when I was recording those voice lines, I was questioning whether to even continue making the game :') I've done mediocre voice acting for my jam games before, but this entry just felt terrible to record and implement. And what's even worse is that there's no in-game story to explain why the g'nomes harass you like that :D
Reading the comments makes me glad I continued and released it anyway, even though a lot is missing or poorly implemented. So I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
A good game about a good citizen doing its part.
I played the full experience without any censoring. As it should be played, I think. It had nice graphics and the weapons felt nice too. I had a bit of an issue shooting down the last gnome, but I think that rather says more about me than the game. Perhaps the hitbox on the ax could have been a little larger since it wasn't really a precision game and I think I was too close once or something. The same could probably have been true about the arrows.
One thing that slightly confused me first was that I not all gnomes bled. I guess it makes sense that when falling out of the sky, you didn't have control over where they landed so they needed to be dead directly. But as I ran up to the first I downed, and it didn't bleed, I first thought that I needed to ax them too.
I think the gnomes are fine btw, if anything the protagonist kind of have to explain themself. Why they are slaughtering an entire village just because of some rudeness.
"Don't kill me"
Sorry 'nome, I wasn't the one who put an axe in my hands.
The voice acting made me laugh, it was fabulous! I had a lot of fun playing this game, I think it's what I needed after today. Again, sorry to all lil dudes (And bird-dudes...and giraffe-dudes..dogs...) harmed in the playing of this game. Thank you for making it!
i got a score of 3:15, it took a while to hunt that last g'nome. good g'nome sim
Looks like another one Skyrim mod.
The dialogs are some, at some points I thought that there is more than randomness in it because it was such a fitting voiceline! :D I mean it's random, right? :D I mean when I was "fighting" the big giraffe gnome, his last sentence was "don't kill me". And for a second I thought about not killing him, just because of that  I don't know the ocntext of this game, but it was really funny in an eerie way. Nice job on the atmosphere, I loved it! :) There could have been more content and it would have been a 5/5!
@tudvari thank you! The voice lines are random (except for the proximitry triggered ones), but they're separated into three different pools to draw from based on their status. So yes, the (almost) dying pool includes some "don't kill me" lines :D
Watched the required videos, and subscribed to the channel. Also beat the game (took me 8m 32s 'cause I'm a scrub).
Mind boggling you got this built in 48h. Feels really polished - good sounds (loved the voice lines), cool graphics and pretty smooth to control. Would have liked it if movement was a bit quicker, and there was a cross-hair for the bow.
Great entry :)
That was certainly... interesting. The game pace was a bit slow for me, maybe add a sprint key to make walking around a bit quicker. I actually enjoyed using the bow quite a bit, it was tough to aim but also felt somewhat realistic.
