Even with a skeleton crew you made something so pretty and something that feels so polished, lovely entry. As usual the gameplay was smooth and felt great and the art was top notch. On top of that the audio was also great, really drove home the narrative in the game. (Also that impact sound when you hit the larger fairies was weirdly amazing). Always a joy to play your entries!
Incredible Love the mood and all the sprite Its well written The only default is that I wanted more

Absolutely fell into this one. Graphics, Audio and the story were enough to get me fully involved right from the start. I love how condensed the story and gameplay is, in a very good way. There's difficulty but no frustration playing it. Very good job to you two, I really enjoyed this one

I like the visuals, they are pretty cool. Love the contrast of purple and yellow. Found it pretty cool when I started walking in the beginning of the game and the title appeared, gave an epic feeling.
Atmosphere reminds me a lot of your previous LD game, Blakulla, I believe.
But the fighting gameplay in this one is quite different, and unfortunately for me didn't feel as engaging; it seems like enemies didn't actually hurt me, and for example at one point there was only one enemy left (green jumper on long legs) and I just stood in place and watched him jump over my head in the same pattern back and forth.
I liked the last stage the most as it felt most engaging. I feel like previous two could be adjusted to match the 3rd!
I like the way you incorporated the theme through the main character, and he looks quite funny. It felt especially reasonable for the theme when I got big enemies, but less pronounced with small ones.
The ending was so sad, I loved it and loved you made a little "cinematic" (for lack of a better word) to show it!! That really completed the game for me. Not sure if I quite understood all of the story, but I like the slightly enigmatic feeling x)

Fantastic game, loved the visuals and overall smoothness on this game!
duuuuude. That title screen drop was so sick. Immediately marks the game as a high quality entry! I walked up and down many times to expose myself to its greatness over and over :D
I dig the beautiful presentation, the classic windmill vibes and the effort put into cinematics. True artistry!
Gotta give props to the programmer for fitting in the menu, particle effect and story elements in addition to the gameplay.

I'm speechless, such a heart-warming game filled with action. Amazing job getting this done in 72 hours! It has everything, audio, music, art, cinematics and a fun gameplay. Now I need a new mouse.

Amazing game! All, pixel art, music, sound effects, controls and story are simply great! My only feedback would be about last stage. I do not think multiple rounds with small flying creatures were necessary, since it was not really challenging. And on last stage there is on one hand too many flying monsters to avoid their attacks and on the other hand they do so little damage, you don't really care if the smaller and middle size one hit you. Besides that, hats off! Great job with the game!

graphics are lovely! you did a great job wwith the controls as well, was fun to play :)
The art is amazing! The game has a complete storyline, and it also features sound effects and background music with really cool, playful vibes. Everything is perfect, except that I have to hold down the mouse button to walk!

Really nice aesthetic and complete package! Really great use of sound with the cutscenes as well. The controls worked well mostly and the combat was functional but left me wanting a little:
Attacks were missing some impact to me, and some of the enemy hitboxes seemed off or unintuitive.
For the hopping enemies some clearer indication where they may land I think would feel more fair.
For the final encounter, it was both overwhelming and had no stakes - tons of stuff flying around the screen and at me, but I could more or less stand still and attack until it was over.
Nice entry all around!

Very well made and interesting concept! I struggled most with locating myself relative to the big jumpers, took me some time to get some understanding for the 3d'ish 2d :) This made the jumpers harder than the final boss for me.
Overall perfectly catching me and transporting the mood!

Woooow! Such a pretty art style! Really good presentation. The combat could have used something a bit more besides just using left click to attack, but it's also super hard to make something like that feel good in a game jam so I understand it, and it was still fun to play anyways. Overall it was a cool experience! Good job making it :)
The art and general vibes of the game are so wonderful! From the color scheme to the main character to the monster design, I was gleeful the whole time. I found the core idea that the same monsters would swell in size to become the boss very compelling. I wish the sword swinging itself could match that in fun and tacticalness, because it sort of undermined these other wonderful parts of the game. Overall, a very impressive game!

Sick!! The art was a treat and every little detail felt very polished and focused. Kind of reminded me of Hyper Light Drifter in some ways. I also liked how there was a strong story focus to it, even with much of it being ambiguous and mysterious. Excellent work with this entry!

I absolutely adore the narrative, great job!
Well done! Very fun, beautifully made, audio was good and the combat was challenging yet easy enough to figure out. Good job!
Really great game! The narrative beats were a great addition and kept things moving. Impressed with all the team has done here. Great job!

This is one of the best games I've played so far. It's got an engaging story, a decent battle system, and the end brought a bit of a tear to my eye. The final boss was fun to beat. My only suggestion is to add gamepad controls with the right stick being the sword swings to match what you did with the mouse aiming.
It's always amazing to see what you guys can achieve! And it's great to see that even with a smaller team you managed to make something amazing. Though I would have loved more depth in the gameplay than a simple hack & slash, it's nice that you managed to create multiple enemies with different mechanics. And of course the story you guys come up with. I'll be honest and say that like with BlÄkulla it's too vague for me to fully understand, but I get the gist of it and can appreciate it. That ending screen was beautiful. Do I even need to state that the graphics and audio look amazing when I comment on you guys' games? Awesome job like always!

What an unexpected and touching story. That was beautiful :)
The pixel-drawn art style was very well done. Everything felt consistent and integrated.
The gameplay was also very smooth. I found myself wanting some sort of dash or dodge, but it really wasn't required for this version. It reminded me of Hollow Knight in some ways. Every enemy provided a unique challenge that forced me to build my skills. I think you were also kind with restarting the current level after death :)
The scene transitions were smooth, as were all the camera movements. Someone really put effort into the pacing and narrative!
The final battle was epic. To be honest, it felt a little oddly scaled. There were so many enemies that I first tried to fight my way through them, but then I realized I could mostly tank their attacks and just focus on the big guy without really dying. Maybe that was your intent. Maybe there was some symbolism in that.
In any case, thank you for sharing this!
Cool game, I wasn't prepared for the ending Great visuals, the attack cooldown was a bit high  Loved the concept !
I really love the color scheme of this game. It's very bold and works really well. Love it when the sky is yellow in media

Great polished entry, the mood was set right from the beginning with music and sounds and wiggling letters!
I liked the graphics and enemies getting bigger and bigger, although the difficulty could have been a bit more challenging. I felt though that sometimes I didn't hit the enemies when I should have.
The last scene was the best as it felt very intense, but I think the flying enemies could have had a charging animation before shooting. Although I was never nowhere near to dying, I felt they got some sucker shots in when I had no info who was going to shoot next.
All in all very good entry, especially great presentation!
Really fun and creative use of the theme with the shrinking player character. I especially like the way that the enemy sprites grow more detailed (and scary-looking) as you get smaller.
I think there was a good variety of enemies all things considered. All three levels felt meaningfully different, although I do agree that the player health bar allows for tanking a lot of hits. Personally I think level 2 was the hardest for me to wrap my head around--I couldn't seem to attack the enemies without retaliation, especially the big one--it seemed like there was no way to approach. So, in that level the amount of extra health came in handy.
In general the graphics and sound were great, this game is well polished. I also enjoyed the unusual writing style for the dialog. I will admit I didn't quite understand the story until getting to the end.
All in all a very solid entry!
The whole experience was very cinematic, I enjoyed it very much! I liked the bright colouyr palette and the sound design felt very gritty and satisdying too.

Awesome art style with a fitting sound design. Seemed incredibly polished - great work! The text in particular looked really good, despite it being something so minor. Story was really interesting, we loved the historical context. Maybe less enemies / waves and an extra player attack + dash could have made gameplay a lot more fun, or more variation with enemy attacks.
Presentation is always beautiful in your games and this one is no different. You can tell for both environments and the creatures that you always went one step further by making unique sprites. Story telling in jam games is also challenging, but you do it and you do it well. The gameplay is basic, but especially during the last fight it did still feel engaging and fun. Overall, really well done and as always I hope to see more of your work in the future!
