It is definitely fun game to play. I died few times, trying to understand mechanics, but whole game was so fast and fun that I don't really care. Music is really good here.

It is definitely fun game to play. I died few times, trying to understand mechanics, but whole game was so fast and fun that I don't really care. Music is really good here.
Definitely fun to play. The struggle to control the blobs makes this game quite adorable to play. Even making stupid mistakes here is relaxing. Also the intro story was great. It might sound weird to you, but I think this kind of game would work great in VR, in real 3d.
I was mindelsly clickig many things, and I still was unable to kill Mr. Rabbit. While some people find clickers enjoyable, I personaly would prefer a bit more of chellange here. Visual part is kind of cute & happy side, creates nice mood.
So it is fun, after you learn how to play it. Some instruction in game how to play them would be helpfull. Withouth reading stuff here I didin't know what to do. It has nice, cheerful and blood-splashing mood :)
This game need to have a good, rhythmic music. All tiny characters looked like they were dancing. Mechanics works properly, nothing crashed for me. I suggest you, in future to subtly introduce controls to the player in game. Don’t put them in menu. For example, write "Press 'Space' and magic will happen” at the beginning of game. Also some kind of visual effect for the attack would be useful. I wasn’t sure do I really attack enemies or do red blinking was their attack.
Somehow I was able to finish this game. All mechanics seems to work correctly. Design of the maze was bit of confusing (too similar places to visit). I didn't read your description and didn't know how to skip dialogues, which irritated me. Beside that this game has nice, fast rhythm of playing - this is the thing I would put more emphasis if you would like work more on it in future.
Muzyka i grafika tworzą uroczy klimacik. Ogółem powodzenia w dalszych projektach :)
Mood is great here. Mostly thanks to the music. The way in which camera moves dinamicaly during the fight is also evokes emotions (bad nad good). The game looks like a good promise. But I died too many times to say something more.
It nice and thematic but I had a problem with understanding what is exactly expecetd from me. Do I have to collect cash? Packakes? Why I constatly hit walls? The fault however, can lie on my side (I'm a noob)
Very cute and calm tower defense. I don't know if you were aiming at this, but it turned out as quite easy to play. Some kind of challenge would be nice, but I guess there was no time during jam to tweak this kind of stuff :)
While I'm not a native English speaker myself and understand why one would like to work in own language, please next time try writing in English. It will make easer for others to appreciater your work :)
I second the question. How to run this game?
Nice concept and proper realization. Music works there well, but might be bit too dramatic to overall calm gameplay.
Definitely fun to play. But to be honest beginning was bit confusing, and I had trouble to grasp what to do (I thought big armored guy was just a statue - maybe some speech bubble icon would help), but in the end it turned out to be satisfacting.
That was good! You have here really good gameplay, on level of design and level design. Fun and challenging to play. For me this isa good base idea for full game. Have you have any kind social media, so I could follow you? I'm curious what will you create next time.
Nice concept and execution. The main problem it needs a lot players to generate more content. I would probably fake it and wrote more base texts at the beginning. Still it would be cool if you try to spread it after Ludum Dare, maybe on Reddit or some facebook groups, just to see what others might came up with it.
@cpokered now it should be ok. (I forgot to publish draft on itch.io)
Game should work now. I don't know if it is right with Ludum Dare rules, but I've changed game version to the earlier on itch.io.
Hey guys, I would like to work on this further. So two things: please critique it till your heart is contented, and please tell me where I could share the finished work? Somewhere where I could "exchange comments for comments", would be good.
While concept is nice, while playing I felt bit lost and confused. Please, next time think more about better guidng player throught game (clear description of controls or stating the game goal in game, not in description). Unless you aimed for inducting a feeling of being lost for a player.
I think I'm too dumb for this game, but it has nice base idea.
As a solo player I get bored. So I would rather say it is a game for 2-4 players, not for 1-4. The visual side (especially animations) is funny and nice.
Bit hard to play. Some kind of spare lifes for player would be nice. Or maybe ability to collect lifes/balloons?
A way too hard for me. I couldn't keep the flame at all. But I might be just too lame in games requiring the reflex to handle it properly :)
I didn't fully understand what I was doing, still I was having fun :). Some ridiculously joyful music would work here well (if there was any sound - sorry, I didn't hear that).
Quite cute experience, spiced with fable-like mood. But try next time use more readable font. And consider showcasing always supplies on the hud, so the player could make more informed decisions.
Music was nice, art could be more thought over: for example I had the problem with seeing bullets coming out of my character, not entirely sure where I'm shooting.
The mood was wonderful. The visuals, music and idea were badass, but the gameplay was not satisfying. Probably the weird hitboxes of enemies making them hard to hit, or the lack of possibly to find new bullets to reload the gun (at least I couldn't find them). Nevertheless, the first impression was really good.
Maybe the protagonist was a pacifist, but I weren't. After discovering that I can't outrun zombies to the exit and I have to fight with them. And the melee fight didn't go well. Oh, well...
It really charming how nice killing people is in your game.
All fun and nice but the used font is really hard to read, which makes controls for the players hard to learn/guess.
I felt bit confused while playing it. I didn't felt the need to press red button, just playing it like a normal tetris game was enough to me. Maybe it is because, it was done for 4 players in mind, or maybe the game rules should better explained to the player, but that thing is always tricky to be done in a way that will not bore the player.
Nice game, with cute, happy mood. It really could use some restart button (if someone like me is stuck at the begining and. has to refresh page to try again).
I just suck in playing your game - I was abale to spend whole cash without putting any of the pufferfish in the the aquarium :)
Overall fun and intuitive experience, while playing it. I don't know anything about topology, but this didn't seems to be a problem.
I really like aesthetics there. Mood was also interesting. But the game crashes crashed my enthusiasm. Still you have here a good base to polish your level up game-development your skills. (But please make sure you have full rights to use faces from photos)
I second the thing, about the lack of idea what have to do here. Some clearer guidelines for player, would be helpful. The mood of the game felt intriguing, but I'm not patient enough for it.
Micromanaging my team of marines was fun, until they all died <3 Honestly, the mechanic behind ordering your squad was interesting and pleasant to play with. I missed the audio a bit, but understand the lack of time / resources to add it.
Nice, weird mood. I would happily see here more dreamlike weird stuff, but I understand time constraints. The gameplay could use some spice-up, or more chillout-flow-like tone, now it doesn't seem to have a specific personality in comparison to the dreamy setting :)
Ok, I didn't get that this game was meant for two players: I just played both characters at once and was having a blast while doing so. Good Job!
Firstly, I had a problem with understanding the mechanics behind your game, the communication with the player was poor. But after a few rounds, it started to click in my mind. The gameplay was fun. Controls felt natural. Good job.
Controls were a bit confusing at the start of the game, but I get used to it. Nice soothing music. Simple gameplay with clear goal and good level design.
It was a fun experience in the wacky environment (it's a compliment). I would work more on visual communication to the player, not everything that was going on the screen was clear for me as the player.
Ok, I've decided to man up a bit, and give some feedback to get some feedback. Otherwise, how can I learn?
Oh, yes "the art" is easy. The coding part is the hard one.
Nice mood and feel of play, bit hectic but in a good way. Also. I noticed that being called "mediocre" hurts more than simply being called "bad"
Ok. It was really interesting to play with. Nice metaphor was build in the gameplay and the short sessions + score encouraged to play again and again. Job well done. My only problem was that, I didn't get how the controls works from the start.
Quite a charming little game and a neat execution of idea. The part with backtracking to the tree with water without any real treat from enemies side was quite boring (I did clean the path before). Maybe respawning them could help? Aslo, see you in the future :)
Nice design, cute art and pleasant gameplay. I got a bit confused with using space as a bomb throwing key: I did detonated myself a few times, think that pressing "space" will make me jump.
Nice game, perfect for chilling out. Exploring the ocean deeps was a enjoyable experience, surely my curiosity pulled me deeper and deeper :)
This one was really fun to play and well thought. I liked everything here. I hope you find my critique useful.
