At first i was confused what to do but once i understood, the game became addicitive for me. Maybe one thing i would suggest is to use some pixel font but thats just a detail. Overall the game is fun. Good Job!

This was the most fun of the jam games I have played until now. The graphics are simple but great. The particles look really cool. The sound effects were crisp but there was no music. The game was a little long.

You should opt-out of Humour and Mood as your game is not meant to be funny or moody.

Good job!

Wow... wow!!! This game is absolutely incredible - I got so sidetracked playing it, haha. The growth of upgrades over time felt a bit slow but it helped me realise what was actually going on within the game rather than unknowingly blasting through it. There has been a lot of though and effort put into this project and I'd really like it to do well! Awesome work! :D

This game is really fun! I love the rogue lite elements and upgrades. Good job!

Sorry a bit confusing how to play. Pixelstyle is great. Font could be in the same style.

This is a really great game. I already knew the concept from somewhere but your take on it is also pretty cool. I think you could add the exact upgrade values to the upgrades (like this gives you 10% more money ...)

This game has lots of potential, but at the moment I think it lacks balance, which is crucial in these kinds of incremental games. The first few rounds are vary short and confusing, but once you understand the mechanics it's quite fun. However I got stuck too much time due to collisions error.

This game is maybe too affecting... I played it for too long! I really enjoyed it before I said, "No more!" and stopped playing. I think making the mining part move more quickly would make this game a bit smoother. Also, I agree that some of the collision issues, as well as getting stuck without being able to 'jump' and continue mining, made things a little frustrating at times. But overall, a great entry!

I wonder if there is another layer past red....

Also don't upgrade to 13 or more drones, they all end up colliding into each other and won't ever move down again >_<

Edit: Reached 200 (and scientific notation of money numbers)

I really enjoyed this game! It's very addicting to play. I kept wanting to check out a newer upgrade. The movement felt a little buggy at times. Like it didn't bounce properly, or I would get stuck on the edge of a block. Other than that, I had a great time playing your game! Very well done! :)

Firstly, I had a problem with understanding the mechanics behind your game, the communication with the player was poor. But after a few rounds, it started to click in my mind. The gameplay was fun. Controls felt natural. Good job.

macaroni-dev 2021-05-18 17:43

I didn't get it at first, but once I got a feel for what was what, it was perfect arcade fun. I could keep playing forever.

anaxie-studio 2021-05-18 17:44

We'd have to agree that the first rounds are very short and although the controls are simple, it's not easy to understand how the game works at first.

The graphics and particles are nice and cohesive.

With some balancing (and perhaps some music), the game could be a lot of fun! :)

Fun game. Spent waaaaayyyy too much time playing it. Good job!

totteriludum 2021-05-18 19:06

This is probably one of the most engaging jam games I've played yet! There can be improvements made, for example drone audio, or perhaps lowering the cost of some upgrades, but the game is really good at keeping the player's attention. Simple, but elegant. Well done!
