Great game! The movement and jumping feels a little slide-y but it makes the game more challenging! I like that when I fall down, there is a small chance a platform spawned underneath and I don't die. Also the AAAAAAAAAAAH sound effect is really funny. The GFX are cool and retro. Good job! (I'm a noob, got to 4m only xD)
A great casual game, I loved the physics! The game was a little hard at first but then I discovered a strategy - to always hold a blue stick and push around the ball with it. The graphics were nice and simple and the music was great. I could not hear the sound effects though. I think that is because my laptop is not loud.
I think you should expand this game and make it a casual mobile game or something. I love it!
P.S. You should probably opt-out of Humor and Mood as your game is not meant to be funny or moody.
This was the most fun of the jam games I have played until now. The graphics are simple but great. The particles look really cool. The sound effects were crisp but there was no music. The game was a little long.
You should opt-out of Humour and Mood as your game is not meant to be funny or moody.
Good job!
This game looked really cool and I wanted to play it but when I clicked on it there was only a Windows build. But I opened up Wine and it run great on my Linux machine! I like the use of the same ball for activating buttons and combat. I could not hear the audio. I don't know if there is audio or if wine is just glitching. The pixel art graphics looked really good and before the boss battle there were lots of hearts in a small room but when I jumped up to the hearts I accidentally fell down and had to battle the boss with 2 HP but it was still easy. Loved the game!
Great game! Really cool interpretation of the theme. It reminds me of the Cherry Poppers mission from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I'm a big fan of GTA and games about crime and evading police so I really liked this!
Okay so I'm playing on Manjaro Linux, an OS based on Arch Linux and when the sound level got to 45 dB the game froze for a good 20 seconds and then a "Congratulations" screen popped up. I thought I had to get it to 40 dB?
Sweet and simple score-based game. Really liked the snappy controls, and the animation of Vladimir falling in the infinite hole at the start of the game is hilarious. I don't know what was up with the music there, but good job!
I really liked the mechanic of the game! :) Question - Is the name of the game inspired from Counter Strike 1.6's radio message "Fire in the hole"?
The HTML5 version wasn't working on my main browser, Brave (a fork of chromium), so I ended up playing the game on good old Firefox. After some time the bullets stopped firing from my tank and I don't know why :/
Also, the glow effect looked really good on the text and on the lava.
I loved the graphics. The controls suck and you can't see what's in front of you but that's what makes the game challenging and fun! Good job.
The art style is simple and cute! (especially the doggo). This game was really fun and I bookmarked it for when I am bored. Sound effects are nice too, good job!
Relaxing game. The music was cool. I got all the achievements! :)
Good game. You can expand upon it and make it better in a post-jam version. The sprites are not transparent (You can make them transparent online) and you can add some enemies which try to kill you while you are collecting items. For your first game it's really good! :)
Thank you for playing my game! The itch.io version has lots of glitches for some reason, the game works perfectly on my local server without overlapping, arrow keys not working and splash screen breaking. I really don't know why this is happening. When I press Ctrl+Shift+I it tells me 404 error so it's probably some problem on itch.io server side.
@otresnjak Thank you so much. Glad you liked the filenames! ^-^
@pixelportalz Yeah it seems there is some issue on itch.io server-side. Thanks for playing!
@jibberwocky I tried to make everything collide with everything and made the physics complex. It glitches sometimes but it makes the game a lot more fun. Thank you so much for playing.
@timon Thanks for playing! :)
Thank you so much everyone for playing my game.
@rhewid @wongkongphooey Glad you both liked playing it!
@yulotomorrow Yes, the physics of the game is the most interesting part  Maybe the jumping was a little too floaty with no way to duck quickly to the ground. If I make a platformer next time, I will take care of that. Thank you for playing!
Thank you for playing! @jokerbomb
@mudlee Glad you liked the idea! I don't know, maybe the viruses corrupt your code or something. I didn't get time to write proper lore.
@plazyqwerty Glad you liked the idea and had fun playing the game!
@slowfrog-again Hmm.. that's weird. I played the game, stood in one place and jumped but all jumps were of the same height. I'll look into this problem a little more.
Glad you had fun playing my game!
@sleepystudios Thank you for playing. Glad you liked the difficulty curve and the mechanics!
@garys Thank you for playing! The physics are a little on the crazy side but that's what makes the game unique. Yeah, I should have added some logic to prevent the cache files from getting sandwhich between normal files. I'm glad you had fun playing it!
@koalatte Thank you so much for playing my game! Glad to know you found it funny.
@heremeus Yeah, I think the collision with the viruses messes up sometimes and the HP starts going down rapidly. Sorry about that, Glad to know you found the game fun and liked my interpretation of the theme. Thank you again! :)
@asdehielo Thank you for playing!
Oh my god I just returned from school and I have 9 new reviews!
@rubixnoob13 LOL, glad you found the game fun and the filenames funny!
@2rek No, thank YOU for playing the game. Glad you liked it!
@filgru Oops, I tested it and I got stuck outside the level when I jumped from the top-right platform. This is the second bug after the virus collision bug. I hope to fix these in a post-jam version later. Glad you had fun playing it and good job on being able to play in expert mode!
@madr Thanks for playing! I will play your game when I get time.
@mololo Thank you so much for playing! Next time I will make some more difficulty settings if I plan on making an arcade-styled game.
@maniulo Oh my god, that sounds awesome. I will add those features and fix some bugs in a post-jam version. I will give your credit for this idea. Thanks for playing the game! Sorry the movement was a bit too floaty..
@fueelin That's a really good score! Thanks for playing, I think you are referring to the rapid collision virus bug. I will fix that in a post-jam version and add some more things as @maniulo suggested! :)
Really good use of the jackhammer for not only drilling but also jumping. There is no music in this game but the sound effects are great!
Also, I uh.. encountered some bugs.

After I killed the bats in this level nothing happened. Was that the end? I'm not too sure. Good job on the game!
Nvm Im dumb I finished the game lol

Sweet and simple casual arcade game. My only suggestion is to make a little delay after you collide with the obstacles and the game over screen and probably some particle effects to give the player some feedback. Also, you should probably opt-out of humour and mood because the game is not meant to be funny or moody.
Sweet and simple game. The sound effects remind me of the sound effects of an old Windows game "Battlejeep". Art was cool too. PICO-8 games are so charming.
Cool game. I really liked the music and sounds! You can add more challenge by adding enemies that come from below that we have to dodge, particle effects on mining the blocks, etc. Good job on the mobile support!
