It's a little bit rough around the edges, but I enjoyed spam clicking to destroy as much of the terrain as possible  Sometimes the terrain won't get exploded  But overall I enjoyed destroying the world a lot :earth_asia: :fire:
The concept is nice, the terrain destruction is fun to play with and the AI is well done. The aim mechanics works really well. However I felt the gameplay lacked a bit of depth. Maybe implementing movement could help.
There is also lags if the player spam click to shoot multiple time, the shoot cooldown could maybe be a bit longer. Overall nice concept, I really think this idea can be expanded further to make a great game!
I really liked the mechanic of the game! :) Question - Is the name of the game inspired from Counter Strike 1.6's radio message "Fire in the hole"?
The HTML5 version wasn't working on my main browser, Brave (a fork of chromium), so I ended up playing the game on good old Firefox. After some time the bullets stopped firing from my tank and I don't know why :/
Also, the glow effect looked really good on the text and on the lava.
@fictions @tombuston @emeraldboy44 Thanks for the feedback!
@fictions Yes I wasted too much time trying to hack together the collider generation algorithm for the terrain destruction, but I couldn't get it to work perfectly in time... Maybe I'll get around to trying to hotfix the issue later.
@tombuston I was thinking about the shot cooldown, but I didn't get around to implement any cooldown for it. For the performance troubles I might go back and implement it. However, I think that it's kind of fun to just spam the fire button a lot.
@emeraldboy44 The HTML5 build is straight from Unity's WebGL build, so I'm not sure if I can fix the Brave browser issue. And that bug sounds new to me, I'll have to keep my eyes open. Bloom is my favourite post-processing effect by far, glad you liked it too!
@emeraldboy44 Oh and for the question: The CS 1.6 radio message sound is definitely burned in my memory! So while I wasn't consciously thinking about that specific use of the phrase "Fire in the hole", I'm sure it was part of the subconscious process somewhere in there.
I can rain fire! Gameplay is simplistic but the explosions and terrain destruction is soooo satisfying.
Great game! Old idea smartly connected to the theme, there seems to be a few bugs like bullets not penetrating the upper layer and also the ability to hard spam attacks. But that's just playtesting and bug fixing. Great job!
@slingshot Glad to hear you liked it!

Even tho the effects are very simple, they're very enjoyable :D

Amazing, I really enjoyed destroying the whole world :D. Maybe could be good add some movement and some difficulty like levels where you have to kill more enemies. But good idea I really like it.
@jarambarri @szymski Thanks for the feedback!
@jarambarri Yes, the algorithm for generating the terrain collider was the bane of my existence all the way from Saturday to Monday... I spent way too much time trying to get it to work properly, and just couldn't get there in time. Maybe I'll go back to try and fix it eventually.
This game is so satisfying and relaxing for me. I had good time playing. To this ground bug i will add that if you have buggy ground under your enemy he don't fall.
@domin77 Thank you for the feedback! I really ran out of time to create all the features I wanted. More levels is definitely something I would like to go back and do at some point!
@skaminska Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it's quite frustrating and disappointing when the enemy doesn't actually fall when they should, or when they do fall even though they shouldn't.

I loved spam-clicking :) Sometimes the terrain wouldn't get destroyed, but other than that it was a great concept! I would have loved to "move around" and "jump on platforms"... that would be cool :)
@zypo Thanks for feedback! Yes, the terrain bug has been bothering me all through this LD jam. The movement idea has been suggested by a few people now, I'll have to keep it in mind if I get back to this game post-jam!

It's pretty simple and fast to play( to fast imo, I reach Victory in few seconds). I suggest to work little more on graphics next time.

The concept is good but I think it need some sort of cooldown between shots becouse i was able to spam bullets (and almost freeze the game).
Also when the enemy start to fall it clips trugh the terrain. And sometime it fliats with nothing underneet
@burczy @kromeboy Thanks for the feedback!
@burczy Yes, I ran out of time on this game for sure. Any suggestions what specific parts of the graphics need most work?
@kromeboy Yeah, the terrain destruction bugs haunted me for the entire jam. The cooldown really would have been a smart choice.

really cool concept for the gameplay! could potentially have a lot of cool strategy possibilities in a multiplayer version. i agree with others that a cooldown is quite needed, + movement would be a really cool feature so you could try to get out of holes.

It is a clever way to think of the theme! Others have noted the different obvious shortcomings, but the concept is nice and I could definitely see this expanded to a full-fledged game!
@traffle @laurent Thank you for the feedback! I am tempted to go back and make a post-jam version of this game eventually.

Cool idea ! I like your take on the theme. You could definitely try to make a post-jam, multiplayer version, it has a lot of potential.

Simple mechanics.. I love that.. just spam clicking and wait.. but sometimes dirt was left around the enemy so I couldn't hit it (but on the other hand he couldn't shoot at me neither so win-win for both ;))
@whismirk @smiley Thanks for the feedback and the encouraging words!
This was a very simple but fun game and I enjoyed it a lot! The lava effects look great and exploding the terrain always felt satisfying. The AI was well-balanced and I really liked the glow effects and sound effects, it really made things pop. I wonder if it'd be possible to make multiplayer, this seems like it'd be a fun game to play against another person! XD Great job!
@nice-gear-games Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you liked the game! Local multiplayer is definitely something I was thinking about. I'll look into it if I come back to this game post-jam.

A very fun shellshock type game. It starts lagging after a while, especially if i spam the shoot button. I think I would do some optimization on the bloom and maybe add a limiter, like a short cooldown between each shot.
@jonrei Thanks for the feedback! Performance was definitely a shortcoming on this game.
The particle effects are very well done! The game is a little too easy as you can currently just spam click to shoot while the enemy simply shoots one shot per second or so.

I really like this idea! I think you could add a cool down for the fire button, to make it more challenging.
I love the "Worms Armageddon" mechanics, very cool. Would love to see different weapons. Good job, Thanks.

The explosions are satisfying. The html5 version has serious performance issues if you fire too much at once.
@blackopsben @kotzi @michaelyount @someone Thank you for the feedback!

Beautiful explosion effects! :sunglasses: ...other than that, it's your classic artillery duel only in real time.
The game ended many times before the enemy tank had fallen out of the screen. Sometimes the terrain didn't destroy even if it looked destroyed.
Otherwise solid and neat small game
@tomssuli Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I had high hopes for recreating a classic game formula, but just couldn't get the terrain destruction algorithm working correctly in time.
