It reminds me of my childhood playing The Incredible Machine. Fun music and sound. I was playing with a laptop trackpad instead of mouse so spinning pieces was next to impossible. It would have been nice to have a keyboard option to spinning the pieces before placing them. Nice to see audio and language settings! Good work!

NICE GAME, LOVE PUFFERFISH)

Really enjoyed this! The puffers are fun and zooming out the level is a cool way to do progression. Also lots of nice visuals detail (where can I get eggplant bathroom tiles?).

That's the stuff. Chaos ever evolving and expanding. It took me a while that objects can be rotated with the mouse wheel (I urge you to mention this more overtly because it's a critical part).

damn catchy game! really nice. you should update description to say tha you can rotate elements. nice job!

Fantastic game. I ended up trying to funnel all my fish into one bowl for maximum chaos (and fun!).

A fun game, and the music is good and the gameplay is cool. Only the HTML version is "slightly" lagged.

Nice game, with cute, happy mood. It really could use some restart button (if someone like me is stuck at the begining and. has to refresh page to try again).

@limbo We have handled a few cases with a very rare game over screen, so you shouldn't have been able to be stuck. What were the conditions for you to be blocked?

Edit: In the worst case, there is a pause menu on the escape key.

I just suck in playing your game - I was abale to spend whole cash without putting any of the pufferfish in the the aquarium :)

I found this game very satisfying, one of the most played for me :)

Quite possibly the best game I have played in this LD so far. Nicely designed (both mechanics and levels) and very clean graphics and user interface. The concept is very innovative on its own, even though I am not sure if it is completely novel (maybe other games like that exist out there?), and it is also not very relevant to the "stuck in a loop" theme. Props to the one with the idea of not having multiple small levels (as usual with these games), but having only one level that is expanded with more and more stuff.

Moving on to the minor stuff: there was a bug with the rotation of the objects on the HTML5 version (scrolling was waaay too sensitive, making it hard to rotate it as I wanted, also you should mention how you rotate somewhere), and I also think you should have a button or something to clean up all the fish that are stuck.

This is easily the most fun game I've played this game jam, and I usually don't even find most of these games fun. Five stars in that regard... I sat there for a good while cackling as the game got progressively more broken. At some point I spawned a bunch of pufferfish at once and the whole game lagged so much that the audio kept going (broken) probably 30 seconds after I closed the tab. Horrifying, and so worth. I hope you get some more players, this is really good stuff. Thank you for your good work!

EPIC CONCEPT! I love it! :fire: In terms of fun and gameplay, this game has a lot to offer! GREATO JOBU MY FRIEND!

The year is 2021. The scientists tried to warn us, but we ignored them. I don't know how much time I have left. I hear them at the doors. The sky is gone; the trees are gone; the world is gone. All that remains is pufferfish.

francesco 2020-10-11 22:22

Quite fun to try to optimise those pufferfish "supply chains" :D And the soundtrack reminded me of Brian Eno ! Not sure about the zooming out mechanism though. And what is the difference between the basic shelf and the one with a towel on it ?
