A good peaceful game and music. I need an endless mode and a score based on the number of branch and their length!

A good peaceful game and music. I need an endless mode and a score based on the number of branch and their length!
I liked the work on the models and different environments. Had some trouble with getting stun-locked by moving enemies, and getting hit by respawning ennemies while back-tracking. A nice entry!
Beautiful game, loved how the boss has multiple health-bar and the 360° aspect of the game. Balance might have to be tweaked and it was a bit confusing on which power-up did what. Only inconvenient part is having to close the game to go into the option (didn't find a control to access it outside of the main menu), particulary since the music launched after you left the main menu.
@limbo We have handled a few cases with a very rare game over screen, so you shouldn't have been able to be stuck. What were the conditions for you to be blocked?
Edit: In the worst case, there is a pause menu on the escape key.
I Liked the animations a lot! Gameplay is a nice idea, maybe just a bit slow which the text speed didn't help. Adding a a preview of where you'll be able to attack after moving could be useful, and maybe something similar for where ennemies can move. Slight bug i saw, the "Thanks for playing" text at the end seemed to freak out a bit.
An amazing sound, amazing game-design with a very plain and easily understandable representation and a nice tutorial on the game mechanics. Wouldn't be surprised to see a game like that out on a popular platform, so a very solid entry for a LD!
A few bugs got me softlocked two times in level 2: corpses that you carry are not dropped when you transform, and corpses that you push down a platform seems to disappear after reaching the bottom of the screen. The blue killing plant could have had a bit more of a death-inducing appearance. Overall a very nice idea and nice graphics!
A good game with a very good soud, visual effects and visual esthetic. A few problems difficulty-wise as i just don't see myself reaching the end of the bar, not even half. I feel like there is a problem with how the game is stepping up the difficulty so quickly and with how the bar just reset at any error. The ennemies shouldn't change color randomly or at least without the player being able to tell it's about to happen. And lastly it needs more clues for when the player change color, i personnaly look at the right of the screen to react for incoming ennemies while keeping the player to the left so i missed it often. Particularly on color change from brown to white and vice versa.
Seeing how you mentionned puting this game on a mobile platform, if you're thinking about switching the mouse to touch-screen, player-color change is gonna need a lot more clues as the player-character itself would often be hidden behind the finger of the player. A very solid entry in all cases!
Nice music and nice game! You should probably indicate the controls in the description, took me a while to figure them out.
A nice pixel style that make the game very cute! Gameplay would need some more depth. A nice game nonetheless!
Well i've now come to realisation that i have an addiction to backtracking... A nice game to learn how to type without making errors, probably a good tool to work on your typing speed. To make it a bit harder you could add a manual end of line on a key, as it is currently done automatically if your word is too long for the rest of the line.
As others said, probably a bit too difficult. I think that the contact spike ball/player is a bit too large, but that might just be a hot take. Loved the style and the idea. The hand-drawn design and the animation of the player work quite well!
Loved the theme and mood, weirdly soothing! Felt a bit weird when the conversation just stopped, thought for a bit that i was missing some controls. But i suppose that was due to a lack of time, so well *Insert David Goodenough*. An experience i'm gonna remember, particularly the french twins and asparagus text.
Very cool game! Simple but I loved it a lot! I went lower than the hundred, health run out a bit too fast at those depths i would say. Having less than a minute is a bit hard, particularly since you have to climb everything back up.
I would add a way to augment the depth the lift can reach (either by digging under it or by buying it), and make it a place which either reduce or negate health drop (as it is a bit slow, and i would be worried about dying on it). And as a way to promote the use of the lift, and not the current method of just making a straight-down drop tunnel and a staircaise next to it, i would recommend on adding fall damage.
Again a very good game!
Excellent entry!
A few problems particularly concerning the job reset on turn end with a population of around 10 and more. Also it took me a while to understand what you meant by "CAP" since you can still place more than the room limit.
The idea and its implementation are awesome, loved how the very good voice acting comes in to add another layer to the theme.
Loved it!
An uncommon entry! Loved the meta tangent, and before i knew it it became part of the story. Still went across a bug of some sort where i was loop-backed from an acess level 5 to an access level 2 through the end of first day interaction.
The "rush to think" theme is quite present and it's quite nice. The countdown at the start give you a few seconds to plan on how you'll use the cards you've been dealt, adding another layer. Too bad i got into that endless draw bug too soon so i couldn't really experiment afterwards but a really nice game!
As a fan of deck-building game, i loved that concept! Could already see different personnage with each different type of moves or attack. The redraw mechanic was good because very needed, turn card could get tricky to get without it. Would have loved to be able to parry arrows and a bit more dynamic on the gameplay (reduce the number of cards per turn maybe?).
Nice game! Didn't thought there would be a 2nd level so i was quite surprised. The theme use is pretty good, thought it would be slightly lacking reading the description but it works well with spikes and the magnifying glass.
Ah indeed @stmatn, That's an error on us. Because of the yellow ambiant light the lowest part of the of the temperature gauge seems green instead of blue (for cold).
Nice game with a bit of a puzzle-side but could really use a bit more explaination either in-game or on the game page.
As Merlin, the enemy got stuck in the entryway so i couldn't get out. Seems like a nice mechanism, might need a limit on the number of input. I liked the ambiance too!
Damn I loved it, this hit right into the types of games I like. The small deck-building by replacing spells fit quite well into the theme, and works quite well. With three for a synergie out of four slot, it can be challenging to keep both a synergy, spell with modifiers and spell-type. Awesome entry.
Cool to see a narrative-driven entry. And a very nice entry overall! Sadly got stuck on my first try, space between the walls was too small for me to move but the door was open. Still happy to have reached the end.
Nice idea, it's badly missing some balance as killing someone with the starting weapon seems impossible and as such it becomes a race between you finding the bb gun or someone attacking you with it. Overall the idea and concept has some nice potential.
Another best time on Snake! Nice take on the theme! The physics were quite well balanced to the level design and the leaderboard is a pretty good addition to the whole as to bring out the competition!
Loved the graphics and animations, was a bit surprised by the difficulty step in the level 4. You might want to add the retry button 'R' to the controls description.
On another note while Godot isn't compatible with ldjam embedded, it is with itchio if you want to host it there (there's some options to check to make it compatible there).
