I enjoyed this entry. The enemy variety was nice, and it allowed for quick rounds to try to get a better score. I like the polish with the animated title screen.

It was fun to try to dig straight down to see how far I could get :P

Overall well done.

I tried the HTML5 version, made it to level 25. Nice relaxing game, I enjoyed the music as well.

Simple and sweet game, would have liked some more way to deal with enemies once you are on the same floor as them though.

Nice and simple fun. I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to jump over some of the spikes. But I just assumed not, which forces you to pre-plan where you're going to land on the next floor which is a nice concept. I experienced a blank screen on the web version upon clicking options, but I managed to close by blindly pressing esc so no big deal.

The music was calming and also set the atmosphere well, especially because of the transitions when you get deeper. The controls feel a bit stiff, especially the jump, but maybe that's just me. Also, I didn't feel there was much of an incentive to explore the sides, I just wanted to keep digging. Maybe some power-ups like an extra life would've been nice too. Overall though, really nice and simple game.

The collapsing floor layouts made for some tense levels, but I had a really difficult time dealing with the ghost pirates. I think some kind of other tool to scare them off like a flashlight could help a lot!

Speedrun strats: Stick to the edge.

Cool implementation of the jam theme!

That ain't half-bad! :D quite ambitious really with the different themes as you get deeper and then it loops back eventually it seems eventually u will die for cause of starfish no matter what you do so there's that ^^#

but there are lots of cool little mechanics in there like how each level gives way as you dig into it eventually very cool! Well-done! Keep it coming :grinning:

Great entry! I played the Web version, and had an issue when I tried to select Options (screen went blank and I had to reload) but other than that it was fun :)

I think adding some further items as others have suggested would be a good addition, and I had a few moments where I was blocked by enemies and couldn't jump on top of them to kill them - but otherwise a solid effort legend!

I really, really enjoyed this game. It's so cute. I love the art, the music is awesome as well as the sound of the sea. Got to Level 13 with 330 in a few minutes of play. I agree with the other commenters that it would be great to have some kind of weapon to defend yourself with :) Really truly enjoyed this game and would definitely like to play it again at some point. Best ratings I have given so far today. Magnificent job!

I like how the enemies are flat and you rotate them to turn the other way. Stylistic

Really cool game, I liked the graphics, the music and the mechanics, probably what I wanted by game to be, lol.

Nice entry! I really like the visual effects for the water and the way the sharks turn around. The variety of enemy types and levels was great, especially when it switched over to the dark theme. The gameplay was pretty fun, although it's easy to accidentally get stuck on a wall when trying to jump. Like someone else mentioned, it would be nice if there was a way to kill enemies and avoid the buildup of starfish over time. The music was very light and relaxing. Great work!
